Downtown Destin

Set in between Crystal Beach and the Destin Harbor is downtown Destin. Surf shops, swimsuit boutiques and the Target shopping center are within walking distance from some popular beachfront condos like the Jade East Towers. Delicious restaurants like Another Broken Egg cafe and Mellow Mushroom pizzeria are also on the same block and always turn out to be crowd pleasers.

The most notable thing about downtown Destin, drawing hundreds of excited children and teens annually, is Big Kahuna’s Water Park and The Track family recreation center. Big Kahuna’s is a “daycation destination” with new features like the Honolulu half pipe and acres of slides and lazy rivers. The Track family recreation center has something for the whole family with a huge arcade, Bumper Boats, Go-Carts, Miniature Golf and two heart pounding thrill rides.
