Celebrated Friends and Family- loved roomy home. With it being just steps to the beach we spent every morning sunning and every afternoon lounging by the pool. So many restaurants and things to do you need two weeks here to get it all. We can't wait to come back to Destin and the Boathouse.

Our second trip to Destin. Check in is easy and fast. The house itself was wonderful. Clean and beautifully decorated, loved laying out by the pool and setting on the front porch watching the world go by.

We came to Destin on our children’s fall break and the weather was absolutely wonderful! The best part was the area was not nearly as crowded it as it usually is in the spring and summer months. We fell in love with the Boathouse as soon as we arrived. There was enough space for us all to spread out, yet it was also cozy enough to have family game night in the living room after being on the beach all day. We cannot wait to return to Boathouse!

We stayed here in mid October. The weather was perfect. We had the balcony doors open to catch the Gulf breeze. This place is close to everything in Destin. Enjoyed the pool. House is open and comfortable.

Destin is all about the water and sugar white sands. We loved staying at Boathouse we were so close to the beach, had our own pool to relax in afterwards. Shopping and restaurants are so close. House very roomy, clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

We have quite a big family, so we needed to find a house that would accommodate us all and The Boathouse did- perfectly! When we weren’t at the beach, we were in the backyard grilling out, throwing the football around, or swimming in the pool. Thanks for providing such a wonderful home away from home!

We stayed for four days and every day was awesome. The floor plan is very roomy and comfortable. We plan on staying there again next year and highly recommend the place.

This was our first trip to Destin, so we weren’t sure what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised. The Boathouse is very spacious, nicely decorated and wonderful to come home to after a day at the beach!

Boathouse is very comfortable and close to the beach and restaurants- enjoyed BBQing by the pool. Enjoyed the new huge flat screen in the front room - watching the final four games.

This home turned out to be the perfect place for our family vacation! It had everything we needed and the kids loved the pool and big backyard. We will be back!

We enjoyed the Boathouse. It is close to the beach and in a nice area of Destin. Inside, the house was nice and clean but I wasn't overly impressed with the outdoors. The outdoor furniture by the pool was a bit lacking. Some of the umbrellas were broken and the furniture was really old. The grass was also not mowed in the backyard and we were hoping that would be a fun place for the kids to play in an enclosed area. I asked the office to mow it at the beginning of our stay and when we left a week later, it still hadn't been mowed. It was disappointing service for the amount of money we paid.
Other than that, the house is nice and comfortably fit two families. The kids loved the house, especially the loft area. I agree with other reviewers that the third floor is too hot to really enjoy. The master bedroom and closet are great!
Overall, we had a lot of fun, I just wish that my request about the lawn had been taken care of.

This year marked the 10th year of a "school's out for summer" getaway for a group of teachers from Mississippi. We had a wonderful time, as always; yet, this was our first year to use Newman-Dailey. I won't be using the bigger named rental agencies again! From the time I booked in March till we arrived in June, it was an easy booking.
More importantly, the Boathouse was perfect! We loved having the private pool. Walk to the beach was not far and the beach access was very nice. The only thing we would change is to find a bigger house next year so we may invite more of our teacher friends.

This is a beautiful home will all the amenities within a short walk from the ocean. We received excellent service. The door code we were given did not work and someone was there within 15 minutes to solve the problem. Everything we needed was within a short walking distance; including the beach, shopping, a wide variety of restaurants and a grocery store. I highly recommend the Boathouse to any family or group looking for a home away from home. We had an excellent vaction and a beautiful Christmas on the beach.

This was a very comfortable home with lots of extras in the kitchen. I will definitely stay here again. The internet access was a plus as well.
The boathouse is located within minutes of bookstores, groceries, and delightful shopping areas.
And walking to the beach is a breeze.

My family spent the week of July 18th in the Boathouse and it was a wonderful place to stay . We have used Newman-Dailey for the past 8 years and all of their rental properties are excellent. We always rent a house with a private pool, which is wonderful. We spent several hours a day in the pool. I would recommend this house to anyone children.

I would really rate The Boathouse a 4 1/2, if I could. The house was great for our big group of people. The half I would like to take off for the house, was the room on the third floor. We were planning on using that as one of our sleeping places, and to have it as a place the kids could hang out watch tv. The room was terribly hot! Even with the fans going it was very uncomfortable to even be in. So really, that room was never even used.
I do have to say as far as location to the beach, it was perfect. We were able to walk to the beach everyday, which was great because there is not a lot of parking near the beach area. The pool was the icing on the cake! If we weren't at the beach, we were in the pool!
Overall, The Boathouse is a great property. We are already planning our next trip to Destin, because we loved it there. More people are planning to come with us, so we will now have to find a bigger property! And lastly, Newman-Daily was great to deal with! Thanks Katie!

It was a great week. Weather was hot but didn't keep us from having one of our best vacations ever. The Newman-Dailey people couldn't have been more nice or more helpful. There was a storm that came through Thursday night and knocked out our A/C. It was fixed the next day and they had to replace the power supply to the A/C and the compressor. Can't wait to go back to Destin, we were in walking distance of the beach and Destin Commons. We are telling everyone how nice, clean and beautiful the house was.

House itself was clean & well maintained, the dishwasher seemed 2wash dishes extremely long and
3rd floor was not really used very much ,not much cool air up there, the house is near the beach
and we enjoyed our vacation this time like the previous years we visited Destin , we 'll be back again next year but we always want to try different homes each time we go there.
The check-n personnel at the main office was also very accommodating (we arrived 15 mins after 5pm closing . Thanks FL for another memorable vacation.

My only warning is that upstairs loft was extreamly hot and usable for sleeping. If you are looking to sleep 8-10 it is great but if renting in the Summer don't plan on using that room.

The Boathouse was wonderful!!
Beautiful home, the fireplaces were great...
the beds were comfortable.
Only regret we had was that we had not asked for the pool to be heated before we arrived..wasnt heated for swimming til 3 days after our arrival....however after it got heated up it was wonderful!!!
