Costa Del Sol Townhomes A1-B

Beautiful! The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous viewed from this condo. Every morning I opened the master bedroom doors, jumped back into bed, looked at the ocean, and listened to the splashing waves. So tranquil! My little girls loved the lady bug room. We will definitely come back here. This place felt like home to us.

While my family and I stay at Costa Del Sol A1 every year this trip has been the best yet. The beach was beautiful and we were amazed at the crystal clear water. We loved strolling down to lunch at Pompano Joe's and enjoying the gulf - and the large decks are the perfect place to watch the sunset. The new updates were wonderful and make us even more excited about going back. The flat-screen TV in the main living room is a nice addition. The kitchen is absolutely perfect with granite countertops and new cookware. We could not have asked for more! Can't wait to come back.

The property was beautifully located, and the decks were awesome, with nice furniture outside and premier beach access. However, the property appeared clean upon entry, but under the beds and furniture it was terribly dirty, and we cringed when we had to retrieve baby toys from hidden places! For such a nice property, many things were lacking: the pots and pans were in awful shape and inadequate ... looked like they had been picked up a a cheap garage sale. A nice place should have nice cooking utensils. No cookie sheet or baking sheets, just not well stock with utensils. Dinnerware and glassware were adequate, silverware a little short. The had "baby equipment" but the baby monitor didn't work, so it should have been discarded. Otherwise, just a booster seat. Very nice to be able to use the beach toys from the bottom patio. The grill was not functional, very dirty and full of water and just didn't work. That was a disappointment, as we came with meats to barbeque and couldn't. The DVD player worked after many repeated attempts to work it, but the remote didn't work, so viewing a multi-episode DVD (which we brought several) was not possible. Upon check-in the agent gave the pass numbers to the unit, but directed us to a non-existant unit, and after several phone calls we finally found the correct location. She kept saying it was 1-B, when it was actually a1-b(meaning the upstairs, which really wasn't "upstairs". Anyway, it was a mess and delayed our entry on a very cold evening for quite a while. She obviously was unfamiliar with the property. All in all, can't say enought about the location of the unit, and just wish we had had better weather, but that's no one's fault!

We had the Luxury of staying at Costa Del Sol A1B during a week in December. The townhouse is a wonderful place to escape, bright and airy, and perfect for vacationing with children. Our kids LOVE staying in the Ladybug room and having their own bathroom, too, which is a wonderful feature for us, as parents, too! The den and kitchen are very spacious and we were able to accommodate about 15 people during a basketball game viewing party! The kitchen has been updated with beautiful granite countertops and brand new appliances! The owners have really tried to make it feel like "home" and those little touches are nice! Our kids were able to easily hook up their Wii game system with no problems! The view from the decks was beautiful, as the sun sets into the water each evening during the fall/winter months. So pretty!! The top deck was even VERY warm in the winter sun and that was so nice. The kids loved splashing in the shallow water in their rubber boots! We also LOVE Costa Del Sol A-1 (the 3 BR unit) and plan to return during the warm summer months!!

We love vacationing at Costa Del Sol A-1 so much that we visited twice this year. Its furnishings, décor, and supplies made us feel like we were at our home away from home. The supply of beach toys and proximity to the ocean makes getting our small children (4 and 1 year old twins) to the beach much easier. During our 1st trip, we stayed in downstairs quarters, allowing other family members (4 adults & 3 children) to stay upstairs, and there was plenty of room. Along with quick access to restaurants and shopping centers, Costa Del Sol is directly on the beachfront walking/running/biking trail for a scenic stroll down Miramar Beach. We aren’t going to stay anywhere else!

Would like to do it again sometime. Maybe a new set of pans before we get there. Beautiful views even with the cooler weather.
