Emerald Beach House

I don't know how often you receive feedback from your guests, so I wanted to take a few minutes and tell you about our experience at the Emerald Beach House last week. First I have to tell you that the pictures on VRBO or Newman Dailey sites do not do justice to the house. We were pleased beyond belief with all the space. My family of 7( myself, my husband our 5 kids, 14,12,3,2 and 8 months), my niece, 17, both sets of grandparents, my husband's brother, and a family friend with her 2 children 8 & 10 all had plenty of room for together times and quiet times. The weather was not in our favor, but we made the best of it. Luckily with all the room in the house we were able to still enjoy a week together. You were right when you said we would love Destin. Even though we we did not get to see or do much we are already thinking of planning a return trip next year. I did report one problem to NDP that we experienced in the downstairs Master Bath and it was handled right away. You were very helpful with all of your information, so I wanted to send a personal thank you. Good Luck with the sale of this house. I hope the next owners will still make it available. Once again THANK YOU for your recommendation and for helping us create a wonderful and memory filled family vacation.

We had tons of fun in this house and there was plenty of room for our group of sixteen. The pool and beach were great! We loved going boogie boarding. In addition, we went to the gator farm, miniature golf, movies and shopping. This is one trip I will never forget!

Wonderful – Fantastic – Enjoyable!! Two thumbs up! There were a total of eighteen of us and we all had a great time! We enjoyed the pool, played family games, the beach was a blast – this was a great place to vacation will do it again! Our group’s ages range from 8 to 65 fun and wonderful memories for all!

This trip was our 25th Wedding anniversary and my family along with my brother's family spent the week in Destin. Emerald Beach House is basically right across the street from the beach. It had plenty of space. The beach and water were wonderful. We had beach service and Matt "the umbrella/chair man" was very nice. The only big problem we had was the pool/spill over spa. We arrived on Saturday night after a long drive to find the pool/spa was not working and was filled with sand. The next day we went to the Newman Dailey office and let them know the situation. We were informed that the pool couldn't be fixed until Monday. The gentlemen arrived Monday afternoon to replace the pump on the pool, and told us they would return on Tuesday to finish with the spa. They never arrived on Tuesday and the pool/spa was still dirty and not working properly. On Wednesday morning, we called Newman Dailey to inform them of the situation, and the property manager assured us the problem would be taken care of. A pool gentleman arrive and left within 30 minutes with the problems in the spa still not fixed. My husband called Newman Dailey yet again, and then the pool person called my husband to say he couldn't be there until Thursday. My husband told him that was unacceptable, and he would be talking with Newman Dailey. The pool person was at the home later in the afternoon. The spa was finally fixed on Friday morning with our check-out being the following day. The pool and spa were never cleaned during our stay. We rented the home because of the pool/spa and never would have stayed the week if we had known it was going to take all week to fix. Overall having to fight to have the pool/spa problems fixed cast a dark cloud over an otherwise enjoyable week with family. We will be enjoying the beaches of the gulf again, but may not use Newman Dailey as our rental agency.

This was our first full family trip with extended family included; luckily the house was spacious and allowed all of us to relax. Our family had so much fun that we added one more day to our vacation. We enjoyed the beach views, the outdoor areas and the great memories we made together.

The house was so much more than the pictures show! We were so thrilled with all the space. Our group of 16, included both sets of grandparents, 8 kids ranging from age 17- 9 months, and 4 more adults and we had plenty of room for togetherness or for peaceful relaxation. The layout allowed for different groups to enjoy their own activities. The weather was not on our side, so we actually spent alot more time in the house than we had planned and luckily for all of us we picked the perfect house. Close enough to get to the beach in between rain storms. Other than being directly on the beach there isn't any reason to stay at a different home. We hope to get to visit again.

Everything was fine with the house and pool . The location to the beach was perfect. Being next to a hotel was the only fault we could find. The hotel had some noisy guests at night and the light from the hotel made the bedrooms light.

We had a fantastic experience at the Emerald Beach House. So much space, everyone had exactly what they needed. Three full stories including a game room! Our twin two year olds managed the stairs quite well and the alarm on the patio doors was helpful to keep them away from the pool without supervision.

Nice home, great location. A little crowded on the street as far as how close the homes are together and the condos directly behind. However, in a quite cul-de-sac. Very close walking distance to the beach. Overall we had a great time and the house was plenty of room for all 12 of us. The kids enjoyed the pool at night..never could get the hot tub heated up. It was a fabulous week and we would stay there again.

Nothing to complaint about!!!!! And everything we needed!!!!!

This house is great for multiple families. It is in good condition. Close to the beach. The pool and hot tub make this wonderful for kids and adults. We are very pleased the owners do not rent to non-families. Although the weather was rainy the week we stayed there, this house with it's multiple rooms gives ample space for indoor activities such as video games, movies, air hockey, board games, and cards.

THIS IS OUR FIRST TIME IN EMERALD BEACH HOME AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. IT WAS BIG ENOUGH TO HANDLE OUR FAMILY'S NEEDS AND CLOSE TO THE BEACH. THE GRANDKIDS LOVED HAVING OUR OWN POOL RIGHT OUT THE BACK DOOR. WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FREEZER, BUT NEWMAN DAILY SENT SOMEONE RIGHT OUT TO CHECK IT AND EVEN CALLED US BACK TO SEE IF WE HAD FOOD THAT SPOILED. THE OWNER OF THE HOUSE WAS SO NICE TO US WHEN WE CALLED TO RENT AND WHEN WE WANTED AN EXTRA NIGHT TO STAY. THANKS ALOT, WE WILL USE THE EMERALD HOUSE AGAIN. MILLS FAMILY
