Upon our arrival, a representative came to replace the toaster that the previous guest that check out earlier reported broken. I thought that was a good sign of quick response. Our first impression of this home was very welcoming and refreshing. We could tell from the first day that we would be comfortable. Each day we took the 3 minute walking view to the beach and the afternoons were spent in the backyard pool. The ice cream truck coming through each evening was a treat for the kids. The closeness to the grocery store and shopping was also convenient. I even found a super scrapbook store by Walmart which made my vacation special. We loved this home and look forward to coming back!

We go to Destin once a month and The house was in a great neighborhood, the carpet was dirty and the living room furniture was worn. For the most part it was a decent I would recommend that the carpet be replaced upstairs and removed completely downstairs. It should be replaced with tile. Great washer and dryer and nice pool The house needs some general maintanance, back doors frames are in bad shape

This was a last minute vacation for us. We would highly recommend Miss Kentucky for a vacation spot. It's only about a block and a half from the beach, but is an easy walk. Very quiet neighborhood! The house was clean and we easily settled into it. The Destin area is easy to get around with activities for everyone. We are looking to go back in the summer of 2010. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Miss Kentucky was a blast and I would take my family there again. The Private pool and 1 1/2 block walk to the beach is great. The AC unit died and so did the Pool pump, but Newmann-Dailey had people out there in hours and had them fixed.

The house was very nice but we had some ant issues the first few days. The walk to beach access was a little long for our toddlers. The neighborhood was quiet and every one was friendly.
