The house was very cozy the pool a little small but still we play alot we stay for two week's and one day was raining and we stay all day at the house but the teens still were swiming we had lots of table games we rally enjoy that trip

We enjoyed the whole vacation starting with the house Miss Kentucky, it was great, plenty of room, our own pool out the back door, a grill that we used everyday. And the location was excellent, no traffic on our street! A short stroll to the beach. The beach was beautiful and the water was blue.We vacationed with our three daughters and had a great vacation, plenty of good restaurants and night life was fun. We will definitly be back next summer. See ya then!!

We enjoyed using the fireplace during the cold winter nights! We have been renting this home for the winter months for the past 8 or 9 years. The owners have made lots of improvements over those years. It still is not the top of the line when it comes to decor, but I do understand why the owners don't want to put plush decor in there for the weekly renters to trash! We love the neighborhood, and, if we are able to come back to Destin in the future, we would try for this house. We did not renew for next winter because circumstances will not allow us to be away from home for so long. However, our non-renewal is not at all related to any dislike of Miss KY--we do hope to come back!

The house needs a lot of work! The carpet is really bad and something needs to be done about the front windows. The mirror frames in all bathrooms need to be replaced. We were really looking forward to this vacation as I had not seen my sister in three years. We were charged an extra day to heat the pool. When we went to the office the gave us a refund. But then turned around and shut it off a day early. The ladies in the office were very nice and tried their best to help. But all in all for the money it was not worth it. The size of the house was fine and we loved the decor. But would have liked to have even moved to a smaller house in better condition. we spent months looking over rental companies and not sure we made the right choice. This was our first trip to destin and our first time renting with this company.

Upon our arrival, a representative came to replace the toaster that the previous guest that check out earlier reported broken. I thought that was a good sign of quick response. Our first impression of this home was very welcoming and refreshing. We could tell from the first day that we would be comfortable. Each day we took the 3 minute walking view to the beach and the afternoons were spent in the backyard pool. The ice cream truck coming through each evening was a treat for the kids. The closeness to the grocery store and shopping was also convenient. I even found a super scrapbook store by Walmart which made my vacation special. We loved this home and look forward to coming back!

We go to Destin once a month and The house was in a great neighborhood, the carpet was dirty and the living room furniture was worn.
For the most part it was a decent
I would recommend that the carpet be replaced upstairs and removed completely downstairs. It should be replaced with tile.
Great washer and dryer and nice pool
The house needs some general maintanance, back doors frames are in bad shape

This was a last minute vacation for us. We would highly recommend Miss Kentucky for a vacation spot. It's only about a block and a half from the beach, but is an easy walk. Very quiet neighborhood! The house was clean and we easily settled into it. The Destin area is easy to get around with activities for everyone. We are looking to go back in the summer of 2010. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Miss Kentucky was a blast and I would take my family there again. The Private pool and 1 1/2 block walk to the beach is great.
The AC unit died and so did the Pool pump, but Newmann-Dailey had people out there in hours and had them fixed.

Nice House

The house was very nice but we had some ant issues the first few days. The walk to beach access was a little long for our toddlers. The neighborhood was quiet and every one was friendly.
