Christmas at the beach

We had a nice time at the beach for Christmas vacation. The rental was clean and had plenty of space for my husband and myself along with two older teenagers. This a top floor unit and the view of the gulf is wonderful. We sat out on the balcony every day watching the water, birds, and dolphins. The weather was warm. It was nice to be able to wear shorts and tee-shirts in December. Overall we enjoyed the area and would recommend this condo for people who want to get away from the commercialism of the Destin area.

We loved the condo 402C at Monterey. It was everything we expected. We will come back for sure.
Ps-- The dryer did not work very well--took several time for clothes to dry.

Luxurious Family vacation
My family & I stayed at the condominium. It was fantastic. The views are spectacular, especially the sunsets -- the wrap-around balcony was great. The unit itself is spacious, and it has all amenities we could have hoped for. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, flat panel TVs, nice open floor plan. The kids loved the little bunk-bed setup. We are definitely coming back.

We booked this condo back in March 2010. Our oldest graduated high school and we wanted a quiet spot to get away from things before he went to school. The spot could not have been more perfect. Three bedrooms and three baths gave all (8) of us plenty of privacy - and that's saying something with two sets of grandparents, three kids, and us. The view was amazing - we loved our morning coffee on the balcony watching the waves. Everything was as promised and more!
As for Newman-Dailey - can't say enough nice about them either. We panicked over the oil spill in June and were ready to cancel - they would have let us without penalty, which is more than most of my friends were getting from rental properties in areas much more affected by the oil (orange beach, pensacola, navarre). They were clearly more concerned about making sure we had the vacation we planned and that met our families' needs than about making a quick buck. And because they were so nice and so understanding we decided to wait it out - boy were we glad we did!
One of the best (and cheapest) vacations our family has ever enjoyed. We look forward to return visits!

Our group of seven elementary school teachers enjoyed our stay at the Monterey condo. We had plenty of room in this bright and spacious unit. The views from the large balcony were stunning. Watching the dolphins as we sipped our coffee each morning was special. We loved having our own almost private pool and beach. The two beach chairs and umbrella provided with the unit were also a welcome amenity. We would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing place to get away and enjoy a less crowded beach.

We loved the roomy condo. We felt as if we had a private pool and private beach. Our kids loved the small bunked beds and we didn't have to make them go to bed. The view was fabulous, and we were all very comfortable. Elaine Warren
Girls' birthday weekend

Seven women got together to celebrate a 5oth birthday. I volunteered to select a condo and picked Newman-Dailey because I knew the service would be good. The service was more than good, it was GREAT. They allowed us to check in early and check out late. I was given a bottle of champagne, to help us celebrate the birthday, and lots of information about the area where we would be staying. The condo itself was beautiful, clean and well appointed, just like the pictures. It was situated on a quiet stretch of unspoilt beach. We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella that came with the rental unit. Too bad we couldn't stay longer.
Thanks Newman-Dailey, we had a fantastic time.

The unit was wonderful in every way. The size, decor, comfort, etc. were wonderful. We would highly recommend this condo to others. It made for one of our top vacation experiences.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving, and loved it! Beautiful Condo. Clean, and had a fantastic view. Our whole family loved it. A little far to drive if you want to do a lot right in town in Destin, but the quaint town of seaside was beautiful, and a really neat experience. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away and just enjoy the ocean!
