Pelican Beach Resort 809

We've been coming to Florida for several summers now. And we've stayed with a couple of different properties that Newman-Dailey has and we've enjoyed them so very much! They are very clean, comfortable and they have everything that you will ever need in these condos. I am looking forward to next summer already. The view at this property is remarkable and it is so convient to everything. Shopping, eating, fun in the sun all the time :). We are return customers for sure!

pelican beach room 809 has been recently remodeled with new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. carpet seems new,paint ,tile all seem new! mattress in master bedroom allows you to sleep in an extra hour with ease! was very hard to get out of bed, but looked forward to heading back to spacious, master suite! location is approx. 3 miles east of downtown destin, with everything you need just minutes in either direction on hwy. 98. we were here in mid june and are already coming back this weekend, aug. 7th thru 14th!! this should prove how well we enjoyed #809/pelican beach, and im sure you will also!!!

Myself and my husband and our three children took a short vacation on Memorial Day weekend...One of the Reps for your company called me last minute because I was on a waiting list for a reservation for that weekend. I was so happy and surprised to get the call from Debbie and glad that we made the decision to go with this resort. Plus we were able to get free admission to some of the activities like the race track and the water park, miniature golf etc. It was everything we needed plus...check-in was kind of hectic but once that was done and we were in the condo it was awesome( I recommend you arrive after check-in time). The view was out of this world, it was beachfront, enough/plenty room for the kids amenities were a 1. Walmart right down the road. Just the perfect spot to be. Couldn't ask for anything more and last but not least the beds were very comfortable. I plan to return next year for sure. 809 is were it's at...loved it!

This place is just plain awesome, the place has a great view and everyting we needed was there for us. We plan on coming back the same time next year.

GREAT OCEAN VIEW AND RIGHT ON THE BEACH, ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PAINTING THE BUILDING AND I COULD NOT USE THE BALCONY FOR THREE WEEKS AND HAD THE BALCONY CHAIRS AND TABLES IN THE LIVINGROOM. THE CONDO WAS NEAT AND CLEAN AND HAD MOST ALL APPLIANCES NICE LOCATION FOR SHOPPING, EATING AND ACCESS TO THE FISHING HARBOR.

Newman Daily has always been very professional. They always go out of their way to help us and they have always been very kind and polite. This was our first time to stay at Pelican Beach Resort and it was a nice condo and the views were great. The unit was nicely furnished and the kitchen was completely stocked for cooking. The only thing that I did not like about the condo was it had no washer and dryer inside the unit. It was located outside at the end of the hallway behind the elevators. It cost $1 to wash and $1 to dry. My favorite thing about the unit was the fantastic view. We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the boats go by and just enjoying the peacefulness of looking out at the water.

Wow!! Everything we wanted and then some. Wonderful stay. Great condo and furnished to the hilt. Best views..

MY HUSBAND AND CHILDREN AND ME WENT TO DESTIN,FL FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS PAST JULY. WE STAYED AT THREE DIFFRENT PLACES. FINALLY WE FOUND THE PELICAN. WE REALLY WISHED WE WOULD'VE FOUND THIS FIRST AND STAYED THERE FOR THE WHOLE VACATION. NOT EVER GOING TO DESTIN WE WERE NOT SURE WHERE TO STAY. ONE NIGHT WE STAYED AT THE HOLIDAY INN IN DESTIN, WHICH WAS OK BUT THE ROOM WERE SO SMALL AND WITH 3 KIDS THAT WAS TOUGH. THE ROOMS WERE ALSO OLDER LOOKING. THEN WE DECIDED TO GO DOWN TO FT WALTON AND STAY WHERE MY SISTER WAS STAYIN AT THE RAMADA INN. THE POOL WAS AMAZING BUT THE ROOMS WERE OLD AND NASTY. PLUS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN TO DESTIN OR FT WALTON THERE IS A HUGE DIFFRENCE IN THE OCEAN. MOST PEOPLE I ASKED SAID THEY DIDN'T THINK IT WAS DIFFRENT. BUT AFTER I WENT I MUST SAY FT WALTON HAD THE UGLIEST WATER AND THERE WAS GREEN SLIMY STUFF EVERYWHERE THAT EVEN HAD A HORRIBLE SMELL. SO IF I CAN HELP SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHERE TO STAY, I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO OF KNOWN ALL OF THIS BEFORE I WENT. WHEN I WAS PLANNING OUR TRIP I COULD ONLY GET 1 HOTEL TO PULL UP IN DESTIN WHICH WAS THE HOLIDAY INN. NOW THAT I'VE BEEN THERE I SEE THAT EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE BEACH IN DESTIN IS RESORTS AND CONDOS.THE PELICAN WAS AWESOME. WE WILL STAY THERE EVERY YEAR FROM NOW ON. THE PELICAN IS GORGEOUS AND ON THE BEACH RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING.

This property was just what the Dr. ordered! Right on the beach with a SPECTACULAR VIEW! We found the unit Clean, Neat, and containing everything you could possibly need. There were 4 of us total - two teens and two adults and it was more than enough room - especially LOVED having two bathrooms! Next time we get to come to Destin - I want this unit AGAIN! Enjoy!

We had a great time last year at the Pelican Beach. We are coming up on year number 6 and would not think of staying at another resort. Staff on the beach is excellent. Food in the cafe is great. Worth coming back year after year!!!!!

We really enjoyed our accommodations at the Pelican Beach Resort. I had been there before with friends, but my boyfriend had never seen Destin or the incredible beaches. The condo was large, comfortable, very clean, with a full on view of the ocean. The balcony was very spacious, and we spent a lot of time out there. It was truly a relaxing little vacation. I would highly recommend the Pelican Beach Resort to anyone!

When we arrived at Pelican Beach, a friendly staff greeted us. We had no problems checking in or out. The room looked exactly as it was supposed to as we had seen the photos on the website. The rooms were pretty soundproof. We barely heard our neighbors. The kitchen was well equipped with all our cooking needs including a dishwasher for easy clean-up. We were right on the beach and there even a refreshment stand. We had a beautiful view of the beach from our room, too. We could rent chairs and umbrellas daily or weekly, although I'd recommend bringing your own as they were a bit overpriced. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area!
