Beautiful rental, great pool, so close to the beach...shopping just across the highway...

This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Sandcastle. This time we brought another family with us and all five kids could stay in the bunk room and the adults had separate rooms.
We like the quick access to the beach at the end of Barracuda Street.
The privacy the home offers with private hideaway locations in the home make for alliwing you to easily escape without being noticed or missed.
The pool is an added plus with its privacy and numerous palm trees offering a tropical feel. We were disappointed that the pool heater was broken but Newman Dailey was quick to refund the pool heating fee. We would have definetely had more use of the pool with the heater as the water was still very cold in late March/Early april. We did seem to spend more time at the Beach which the kids enjoyed and there were no evidence of any oil from the BP spill.
The house offers free beach bikes to use for a nice leisurely ride around the Crystal Beach area and old Highway 98.
The back porch is a nice area to hang out on during the early evening hours and eat dinner and sit around and enjoy the afternoon sun on the pool.
The house is in need of some freshening up as the carpet is worn.
Overall, a great value with quick access to the beach makes this a place everyone should enjoy staying at.

The house was great. We really enjoyed the pool and the neighbor hood was very quiet.

The house was great and well equiped. Close enough to the beach. The pool was wonderful and allowing the guests to use the beach supplies, grill and bikes was great. Would like complimentary beach chairs and umbrella but that still wouldn't keep me from renting this place again. My other family members loved the house too.
