2012 was our sixth year staying at the Sea Whisper. We have always enjoyed the lovely home. In the past, the cleaning of the house was not always up to par, but this year, it was perfect. We had some phone problems and garbage disposal problem, but they were handled quickly and completely. Being next to the pool and only about 3 blocks from the Gulf works perfectly for us. We coffee every morning at Camille's with about 20 of our Destin "winter" friends from all over the USa and Canada. There are many great restaurants, shopping opportunities (located close by), and interesting sites to visit. We love living in a "neighborhood" and have become friends with the locals. Since we don't go out much at night, TV is our main evening entertainment, and therefore, would really appreciate a large, flat-screen TV in the livingroom.

We so enjoyed our late vacation this year. Everything was perfect. Could not have asked for a more nicely equipped cottage. It was so quiet and relaxing.

Everything that one needs is provided from linens to cookware. The house is beautifully decorated.
The only thing that would improve it would be if it were on the beach.

This was our first vacation to Destin and we had a wonderful time. Not only was it a beautiful place with beautiful beaches the people were so great! Especially at Newman-Dailey our house was beautiful, clean, decorated beutifully and extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were so friendly and helped us with activities and provided us with an excellent ammenitites package etc. I will definitely rent this cottage and use Newman Dailey again..it was the home away from home.

The house was great. The pool was next door and the beach was only five minutes away, a great combination. The house was very clean and spacious, we loved the outside grill too. The neighborhood was very quiet and quaint. We would love to stay there again.
It was our first visit to Destin, but not our last.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was very comfortable, cozy and clean. It was conveniently located close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to come back soon.

Very nice property in a quite neighborhood. No private pool, but house was adjacent to community pool.

This was our fist stay at The Sea Whisper Cottage. The say included myself, my husband, my daughter, my in-laws and my husband sister and her 2 children. The house was great. It included all the emenities. Our favorite part of the house was the wrap around porch, the grill and of course the pool being next door. The walk to the beach was short - about 5-6 mins. The neighborhood is wonderful. It is very well kept.
I have a couple key things of advice.
1. If you have a family make sure you pack a cooler for the beach. When it is hot it is not the most convienent walk back to the house.
2. DO NOT arrive to the house early. We had a 13 hour drive. We arrived to the house an hour earlier than check in time. Housecleaning was very rude to us.
3. Bring a few extra towels. I feel they did not provide enough for all of us.
We will be back. I think the next time we visit we may have a bigger group. We'll use a different property but we will book through Newman Daily!
Great Beach House

What a great beach house, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the porch that wraps around the home and the convienance of the pool right next door. We were afraid that the location to the pool would make it noisey, but it was fine. Great place to vacation, we would love to stay there again.
