Seamist 6

We haven't rented many vacation spots so we didn't know what to expect, but this place went beyond our expectations. Everything was clean and nicely decorated, making it feel like home. Though we tried to think of everything, we had forgotten our beach toys, only to find an entire closet filled with them for our use. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen had every utensil (except a sharp knife) that we would need. The air conditioning worked well, the bed coverings were just like home! For our week stay in Florida, we felt safe and at home. I'd rent this anyday again!

We were switched to the Seamist 6 because of renovations to our first choice of the Seawinds. Although there is a no pets policy, my daughter, who is allerigic to cats, is convinced that cats had occupied the townhouse recently. She broke out within 30 minutes of arrival. The occupants of the garage bedroom also remarked that their room smelled of animals. The outdoor grill is so rusted out that it is a safety hazard and needs to be removed before anyone tries to use it. The second floor patio door lock is broken and the door can only be secured using a PVC pipe. The carpets are stained and it is obvious the owners are letting this place slide, On the positive side, you can't beat the location, the decks and the views. However, we can get those at the Seawinds with better accomodations.

We stayed in Seamist #6 which we have stayed in before and love it. The renovations done to the unit are absolutely great and we look forward to staying again same time same place next September. You might want to clean underneath the brand new beautiful kitchen counters. Seems the workmen forgot to vacuum out under there when they were through. Trust me, it was not a problem for us . . . we just cleaned up what we needed to use. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Check in was very easy. Location was perfect, loved being able to walk right out onto the beach. Which worked great because we got married on the beach and had reception and cake on the lowest deck with the beach and ocean in the background. The three bedrooms worked out perfect for our group, however the bottom bedroom was hard to access because you had to go down through the garage to get to it. Due to the cold weather it was hard to keep that bedroom warm. Also, thought we would have internet access but did not. Overall, we really enjoyed this unit. It made our Valentines Day Wedding perfect!

Beautiful, comfortable condo; clean and neat with all the comforts of home. Beautiful location right on the beach; we will be back! Not a single problem.

I have used this property previously and was well satisfied with this booking. Having used ND over some 20 years now when booking my vacation requirements in Destin/South Walton area, you may rely upon their representations regarding a specific property and should an issue become present, ND will resolve it immediately. The unit is clean, well ordered and well maintained with both sufficent chairs and beach goods as you might require.The property site is in a good state of repair as you would want and Don, the full time resident will assist you in guiding you to good resturants, services and stores. It is true that the wireless access in this unit is spotty, I found it to be gift that permitted me to unplug from the world and enjoy my family and the beautiful beach with the million dollar views from the decks, you can not do better than this.

This is a great place to stay. We will defintely be staying here again on our next trip to Destin.

The service rec'd from Newman Dailey was top notch. We had a couple of issues with the condo and one phone call each time was all it took - they were fast to respond and take care of the issues. The townhome was great although it would have been nice to have had a TV in the 3rd floor bedroom. We could not use the pantry because the owners had a lock on it and the fridge didn't get a cold as we would have liked. When we have previously stayed in Seamist #1, we had enjoyed the bottom level "storage" that was full of beach toys but this unit was again locked by the owners. This unit was very nice but just didn't seem as "user friendly" as unit #1. The location was wonderful and the beach was a dream! I appreciated the daily beach chairs and umbrella delivered and set up ~ compliments of the Townhouse owners. We loved the townhouse being right on the beach! IF you plan on needing the internet while there, goodluck. We had thought that it was included but had a hard chance EVER picking up a signal. Our family had a wonderful time and look forward to next year!!!!!!

This was the first time we vacationed with our entire family, kids and grandkids. We had a wonderful time. Staying here and right on the beach was the best. The condo was clean, well equiped kitchen, and a great location. It was wonderful for the grandkids (ages 2,4,5,and 6) to be able to sit on the beach and play in the sand just outside our condo. We took advantage of the rides at The Track, which they loved. We have been to Destin many times but this trip was special.

We stayed here with our 2 small children (ages 3 and 1.) Being right on the beach was wonderful! Also, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants close by (10-15 minute drive). We enjoyed the free golf, mini golf, and rides at the Track. We also rented free DVD's to watch in the evening. The only drawback to this townhouse for families with small children is that one bedroom is downstairs off of the garage. It would be perfect for families with older kids or for two families vacationing together. We were not comfortable with either of our kids being two stories below where we were sleeping with an outside balcony leading to the beach. Therefore, all of us slept in the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Overall, a very nice and comfortable townhome. We'll definitely be back again!

Very nice vacation condo. Decorated very nicely and comfortable. My family was there for a softball tournament and we enjoyed our stay at this condo. All the neccesities were there. We only had to get our groceries. Just feet from the beach was very important to me.

We spent Thanksgiving on the Gulf! Our Townhome was beautiful,clean and centrally located.The neighbors east of us were very informated about the area of things to see and do. We have been already discussing when we will be going back and hopefully will be able to get the same townhome. Our children are in junior yr of high school and jr. yr. of college which any parent would know at those ages are hard to please. But the set up of the townhome allowed every one their privacy. Even mom and dad. Newman/Daily handle everything for us. All we had to do is e-mail, pick-up the key and return it. Thank you Newman/Daily for helping us celebrate a perfect Thanksgiving!!!

The townhouse was really nice. We loved it. However, I was told upon renting that I would have wi-fi, this was not the case. I called newman daily about this and they said it was the owners choice not to have it. That's all fine and dandy, but I felt I had been mislead, and lied to. In this world of all the computer and technology, it should be available in all your untis. Good grief, open up a newman daily site, and let us use it. We also experienced a bossy old retired full time resident at the end of the town house row with way too much retired time on his hands. If we did something he didn't like, for example: the trash in the trash cans. He would write little notes and stick them to the door all the time. He even had the nerve to call the unit one night, because my small child had turned on the outside lights. He chewed me out saying it was really bad, and it upset the "sea turtles" OK, I get it, no problem, we are tourists, on vacation. I don't appreciate being dictated to. Your company needs to have a chat with him, his behavior bordered on harrassment, hence swaying towards not wanting to stay there again. This is too bad, because we really loved the house.

We are contacting the owner regarding wireless internet. Our goal is to have access in as many of our properties as possible. We realize how important this feature is to our guest.
