Great House & Service

This house was great. The house is just across the street from the beach, making it a very quick walk to the beach. There are lots of windows in the house, so it feels very open and well-lit.
The thing that was great was the service. The morning we were supposed to check in, I got a phone call & email stating that the pool heater was broken. I was frustrated that they had waited till the day of check-in to let me know, but they definitely made it right.
They kept my informed about the progress of the repairs and got it repaired even though it was the day before Thanksgiving. They also gave me a small discount for being inconvenienced.
There was another small maintenance issue with the house and they fixed it immediately.
Everyone makes mistakes and rental homes are rarely perfect. Newman-Dailey was great in acknowledging their errors and making it right without giving me the run around or a bunch of excuses.
I'll definitely use them again when I'm in Destin.
Kitchen is Awesome

Great house! We had lots of cooks in our party, and the kitchen was awesome. There was a big pantry to store all the food with an extra large icemaker that was fabulous. The pool has lots of privacy and we were next to beach, so everyone could go where they wanted. The décor is also beautiful. The master bedroom is like its own suite with these comfortable chairs and views of the beach. We didn’t want to leave!

The house was perfect for our family, and we will definitely be back. It has an open and spacious feel but also has lots of privacy, and the furnishings are top notch. We loved the beautiful ocean views! Best of all, there is an air-conditioning unit on every floor so no one fought over the temperature at night. A big hit was the upstairs loft with the wet bar where we had our evening drinks at sunset. The entertainment system is also a bonus. It has an i-pod dock and outdoor speakers by the pool. Overall, this is the best house we have rented in the Destin area.

This beautiful house was so spacious and had plenty of room for our 19 people. The kitchen is fantastic! The only thing that would of made it outstanding for our particular family would of been to have a handicap ramp installed. There are so many steps to get up to the door, making it difficult for our family member in a wheelchair. He did however, have plenty of room inside to manuever and the first floor bedroom and bath was perfect for him. There were plenty of towels but would recommend having the extra linen for sleeper sofas easier to find especially for the garage apt. The staff was extremely helpful especially Debbie Scott, our key contact, and Betty who so nicely brought us out a propane tank because the one on the grill was empty. I would recommend that renters check the propane tank before they need to use it! Thank you Debbie and Betty! We would definitely recommend this house to any family and we will no doubt book this house again for our next reunion in Destin.

We spent the week with our children and grandchildren. The home was able to accomadate all of us without feeling crowded. Our good friends stayed in the Carriage House... giving them a little quiet time once in awhile. We were close enough to walk to the beach within a few minutes. The pool certainly was an extra bonus for the little ones.

the house was big enough for all our family to spread out. we brought the inlaws and the outlaws,lol. the house is beautiful and well decorated. the sub zero refrigerator was a plus, how ever the ice maker was a disappointment. it never could keep up. even over nite it would never fill up. over all it was a splendid week in destin. and we will return next year. as always.

The house more than met our needs as far as location, enough bedroms, etc. Having the pool was great for those of us that didn't want to spend the whole day at the beach. The house was nicely decorated. It would have been nice to have a TV in every bedroom.
Our only problem was the cleanliness. It needed a good thorough cleaning. While we realize that it is difficult to thoroughly clean when guests are leaving and arriving the same day, it really needs to have a good thorough cleaning.

A beautiful, well maintained home with convenient access to the beach. It also has a very nice small pool and a Carriage house. This was our second stay at this property and we love it.

Was truly an amazing house. Our family had a wonderful time. The beach was close the pool was great. Plenty of room for our famly 13. The grill didn't work but was replaced the same day with a new on. Had great cookouts.
Would also recommend extra towels and they need to have more frying pans. Could not get the internet to work and that was never resolved.
It was our first time renting a large house instead of indvidual condos. Would recommend it to anyone.
