Excellent communication from Newman-Dailey associates prior to our rental.
Good home to meet our needs - a little bothersome on the 6-digit code system since we had two doors to go in and out and we had 5 kids.
Well-outfitted kitchen with plenty of space to cook but needs maybe a little more space to accommodate eating time.
Excellent location with good proximity to beach with showers and restrooms.
May need to update the carpet since it looks like it was hastily installed.
Issues with shower not resolved while we were there but pool heating issue was resolved.

Wow! The Newman-Dailey staff is awesome. Very responsive, friendly and people orientated. I know our staff would be wonderful after spending 10 mintues in the check-in office and it was! The property was just what we needed, well maintained, clean and quiet. The letter that came a week later thanking us for staying with them was just the icing on the cake!If you are staying in Destin, definitly use Newman-Dailey!

Pineapple...the international symbol for "welcome". This house truly deserves its name, the most welcome home, kids loved the pool area, we loved the pool area too, perfect size to keep an eye on the kids. The layout of the home is impressive, large amount of space, we couldn't have asked for better bedding options, grandma loved having the option of quiet time as needed in her own space in the suite above the garage. The short distance to the beach, even a bit of a view from one of the balconies, the location to grocery stores, location for shopping by the girls in the group, the perks were endless. Thank you to Newman Dailey for the great vacation memories. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Destin.

We brought our children and grandchildren and had a great time. It was extrmely hot and thankfully we had a pool just outside our door. It was close to the beach and yet we were in a secluded neighborhood.

The whole group, 18 of us, ranging in age from almost one to 80 had a great time at the house. The location was great and the neighborhood was beautiful. The walk to the beach was easy and safe for everyone. The carriage house was great for the newlywed couple that was with us. We would come back to this neighborhood and rent from Newman Daily again. We had a fantastic week at the beach!

This was the perfect setup for an extended family vacation. There was ample room for the 11 that came on our trip. The apartment above he garage was especially nice for any couple that wants more privacy, not that there was a lack of privacy in the main house. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very usable and the house was built wonderfully for good traffic flow. With five bathrooms with showers, no one ever had to wait in line. The beach was right across the street (scenic 98), even if you did have to walk out and around the subdivision neighborhood to get there. All in all, it made for a great family vacation.

This was our first stay in a Newman-Dailey property, and it certainly won't be our last. They just do an excellent job. They are friendly and accomodating, and very quick to respond to any needs. The Pineapple House was perfect for our group with very nice sleeping accomodations, great privacy even in a large group, the private pool, and a very convenient location close to the beach and anything else you would want. We had a great stay.

We had a few problems, but very shortly after we called, things were taking care of. The service man was very nice and helpful.
The bushes outfront need to be cut back so it would be easier to pull or back into.
Overall the home was very nice. I would have not trouble communicating how good time we had.
Comfortable but outdated decor

The house was fine in size and amenities but the decor was worn and outdated. The kitchen needs an update and I would have liked to have had less carpet at least on the first floor. It was close to the beach with a quick shortcut between two homes. We really liked the separate suite above the garage. It was great for our teenagers. Enjoyed having a pool available, too.

Our stay at the Pineapple House was great. The house and all of its ammenities were good. It was a very short walk to the beach...which was nice. The kids really enjoyed having the pool too! We had plenty of room in the house. We enjoyed having 2 living areas. This worked out great for the children. The Newman Dailey staff was GREAT from beginning to end. Always very friendly and courteous.
The only complaints we have are the small garage and narrow driveway. The curtains on the french doors were a little narrow and thin. We felt like the neighbors could see in our room.
Two of our cars were burglarized and several things of value stolen. We later learned that there is a HIGH crime rate in this area for that. A warning of some kind would have been nice. It might of kept this from happening. Other than that happening we had a GREAT vacation and would recommend Newman Dailey to our friends.
Basically, we were very pleased with our experience.

The Pineapple House has very ample sleeping space for the 15 that it is advertised for, but the dining room table only seats 6, and the kitchen bar, two, and there is no other table indoors, so we almost had to eat in shifts. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily and safely one could cross the highway to the beach. The safety alarm was not working when we arrived (alarm that sounds when the door is opened to the patio where the pool is) and with several small children, we were concerned. The rental agency sent someone promptly who took immediate responsibility for fixing the problem. I was impressed with such service and will be inclined to rent from this agency again. The kitchen is well-equipped. The children's bedroom was great, it allowed all the children in our group to be together. Neighborhood was quiet and very family-friendly.

The house is beautiful. We had a great time. We thought the pool was a little small. We would definite come back again. We have been coming to the Newman-Dailey Resort Properties for the last 10-12 years and have enjoyed every one of them.
