Destin Restaurants & Dining
With so many wonderful local eateries in our beautiful area, we thought it would be fun to gather a list of our “staff favorites” to share with you. We will be adding more so please come back and visit our site often.
Marina Café in Destin for atmosphere, fine seafood, and great view of the Harbor. 5-6 pm is Early Bird dining – two for one.
Dewey Destin’s Restaurant on the bay– old Destin and great seafood. Freshly caught each day and come by land or sea and come as you are.

The Red Bar in Grayton Beach – simply the best key lime pie in the panhandle, their gumbo is in the top 3!
Bud & Alley’s on 30A – must try the crab dip, view is one of the best on the coast.
Smiling Fish Café on 30A– Panco fried shrimp sandwich is delicious, also the Orzo salad is wonderful.

Graffiti’s Funky Blues Shack – great local spot with awesome pizza and great meals. Great staff and a cool atmosphere surrounded by art from local talent, not to mention next door to the bar, Funky’s Blues Shack, with the best music Destin has to offer.
Surfside Subs, great lunch spot locally owned and operated. Scott at Surfside makes some great food using nothing but quality products. My favorite is the cheese steak, but all is good. If you’re looking for a sandwich to go, see Scott.

Mellow Mushroom in Destin. The pizza is great and the atmosphere is playful and fun. The booths are big and provide lots of room and sense of privacy.

Fat Clemenza’s - Best Italian in Destin – you have to try their brick oven pizzas! I feel like I’m in Little Italy.

Cheeseburger in Paradise at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall – So yum! I like the fact that the atmosphere and staff are so welcoming and friendly. And whenever I get a craving for beef and a milkshake Cheeseburger in Paradise never disappoints me.
Cold Stone Creamery at the Destin Commons- Their slogan, “the ultimate ice cream experience,” is no joke. It is exactly that. The ice cream is so tasty, the flavors just explode onto your taste buds. The staff is so sweet and always have genuine smiles. The fun part begins when you give a tip. They sing if you do!

Louisiana Lagniappe, on the Destin harbor – If you aren’t eating seafood at my house, then Lagniappe is the place to go. Newly remodeled on Destin harbor. Best hushpuppies, Grouper Kevin and the corn and crab bisque! Lagniappe: “A little something extra.”
Callahan’s – Has everything and it’s all delicious! The servings are large and price is right. Open for lunch and dinner.

McGuire’s Irish Pub and Brewery – Go for the prime rib or New York Strip steak and micro beer or wine from their package store with no corkage fee.
Pompano Joe’s on the beach – View is unbeatable and I’ve always had a good food there – try the grouper Rueben sandwich.
The Boathouse on the harbor – Go for the gumbo and poboys.
Bonefish Grill - may be a chain but it's a damn good one!

Fat Clemenza’s - Locally owned and operated by Dominic who uses old Italian family recipes for all of his authentic dishes – everything is homemade. I love the wood fired brick oven pizza and every appetizer on the menu – the Freshest calamari I’ve ever had!!
LaPaz – Has the most original Tex – Mex food combining the best local seafood with traditional Mexican dishes. In my opinion their top shelf “Texas”margarita is The Best in town.
Camille’s in Crystal Beach - Every Wednesday night I enjoy the $2 off Ladies Night sushi with my family. Joshi from Harbor Docks is often there making the best rolls in town with the freshest seafood. From the menu I love the penne pasta and chicken.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill – I’m a big fan of supporting our locally owned restaurants but this one is so good I have to recommend it! The “Spiedino di Mare” which is grilled shrimp and scallops in lemon better sauce is the best – melt in your mouth delicious!! Then…to die for is the “Bacino” – translation, little kisses, which are six mini dessert cups.
Acme Oyster House – Located in Baytown Wharf has the most authentic New Orlean’s shrimp po-boy and the BEST grilled oysters ever!
Top’s Hamburger’s – If you want a really cheap, greasy, delicious old fashioned hamburger drive thru Top’s next to the car wash and Mobile station near our office. They also have chili cheese fries, tots and milk shakes too!

Not Just Bagels - In the Publix shopping center on Commons Dr. is the absolute breakfast and/or lunch spot in the area! Everything is made fresh daily. Their bagels come in so many varieties that you have to keep going back to try them all. The hot breakfast sandwiches are divine! For lunch, I recommend the chicken salad and the tomoto basil soup.
