Restaurant Week In Grand Boulevard Is Dining For A CauseProceeds Benefit Children’s Advocacy Center; Win $1,000 Shopping Spree
Grand Boulevard is presenting Restaurant Week/Dining for a Cause from November 9 – 13, featuring one-of-a-kind menus at reduced prices from the five signature restaurants of Grand Boulevard. Each restaurant will offer a 3-course fixed price dinner, with $1 dollar of every meal sold going to the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. Each time you dine, you can also enter to win a $1,000 shopping spree from Grand Boulevard. Radio station Coast 93.3 is the presenting media sponsor for the event.
“Restaurant Week offers the ideal way to experience each of the Town Center’s amazing restaurants while benefiting an important community organization. Mix in the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree and it makes for an exciting week,” said Stacey Brady, director of communications for Grand Boulevard.
The 3-course fixed price menus range in price from $15 to $32.95 and are being created especially for Restaurant Week, though they are sure to include regular menu favorites. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Cantina Laredo, Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant & Bar and Mitchell’s Fish Market are all participating in this exciting event.
In addition to special menus and pricing at five fantastic restaurants, the $1,000 shopping spree in Grand Boulevard is being given away just before the holiday shopping season. Diners are encouraged to come back each night for a great cause and to enter to win the shopping spree. Grand Boulevard’s Town Center will be decorated early for the holidays that week, providing a beautiful backdrop for a memorable dining experience.
Restaurant week culminates on Friday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Grand Park, when the winner of the $1,000 shopping spree will be drawn by special guest and author, Sister Schubert, of Sister Schubert rolls fame. Coast 93.3 will be on hand in Grand Park that night from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. with a live remote and a DJ playing music from their “80s all weekend”. Sister Schubert will also sign copies of her new cookbook Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters. Proceeds of her glossy 180-page coffee-table cookbook go to Sasha’s Home, an orphanage in the Ukraine supported by Sister Schubert.
Restaurant Week/Dining for a Cause offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy delicious meals at great restaurants and to give back while dining out. “The Children’s Advocacy Center was selected because of the meaningful services they provide to our community. We can’t think of a better way to get into the Christmas spirit than giving to those in need,” said Brady.
