This years rental location was wonderful because is was right on the beach, but the actual unit did have some issues. We had problems with the garbage disposal leaking out water from under the sink, which someone came out 2 days later to install a new one, but cluttered up the kitchen during the day and he didn't have all the parts he needed to complete the job, so left a small mess and then came back to repair, but it still leaked the remander of our stay. He was nice though...:) The ice maker was old and dated and made very little ice. The washer had to be rigged everytime we washed as well. The trigger button that pushes in when the hatch closes would stick and you would have to pop it with your finger. The washer has seen it better days. The televisions were very small and we had internet connection issues, the server had to be rebooted after 3 days of no service. The upstairs bedroom was nice but being open to the 2nd floor was not convenient for our party. On the plus side, there were several beach toys there to use and enjoy and it was a very convenient location. I would never not recomend this out of respect, but we will not rent this unit again. Thanks, Patty Desonie Reviewed on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 We stayed in Seawinds 3 for a week. The beach was clean, quiet and beautiful. The free beach service and large decks were great. Other areas of the beach can get quite crowded, but we did not have this problem. The wifi and grill were bonuses. The townhome was large and spacious. The a/c worked great, and all the furnishings were adequate. However, I would suggest some minor repairs. First, the upstairs shower needs better cleaning, it had mildew on the sliding door and inside the faucet handles. Second, some of the closet doors are rusty and need repair. Third, the bathroom door on the second floor sticks. Fourth, the cabinets in the kitchen need to be refinished (looks like they may have went through a few hurricanes). Lastly, many of the closets, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom cabinets on all floors need to be replaced or cleaned better as they smell like mildew (maybe due to hurricane damage). We would probably rent this unit in the future again despite these minor problems. Reviewed on Monday, July 27, 2009
