Dominica At Port Of Call Gulf View 6-Bedroom 5.0-Bathroom Sleeps 19 (MDOMI)
Mermaids, sea gulls, and shells add a nautical feel to this roomy vacation home. However, there are a few rules one must abide by. Relax, unwind, and let loose! But Dominica makes it so easy to do that with views of the Gulf, balconies overlooking the pool, and so much more! You won’t be in need of anything to have a great vacation.
The fully stocked kitchen and dining room are ready for plenty of guests with seating for 18, patio doors that open up to a deck with a grill, and soothing colors and artwork. Enjoy your favorite movie on the big screen TV or read a book by the fireplace on a rare cold night. Whatever your favorite pastime is, you’ll be able to enjoy it to the full in Dominica. Not only your wants will be fulfilled at this two-story home, your needs are also covered! You’ll find a vanity and sink in three of the bedrooms, a full laundry room for all those beach towels, and an outside shower. A 2 car garage provides escape from the elements and a great place for floats and toys. And since a whirlpool bathtub is definitely a necessity, the master bedroom has one of those, too.
While it’s so tempting to stay inside and enjoy all these great features, no one can resist the famous white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. And fortunately, Dominica is only 3 houses away from a glorious day at the beach. On your way back home, hop in the pool next to the house for a relaxing swim after a hot day. Or take a walk or short trip in the car to a unique restaurant, a well manicured golf course, or an open air mall. But be careful! You may begin to wish you were a local when you experience the relaxed lifestyle that Dominica and Destin offer you. WIRELESS INTERNET AVAILABLE.

This house was perfect for our family of 3 couples,
several children, and various aged singles. The
kitchen had granite counter tops and was fully equipped for a crowd that loves to cook and eat
well. The ice maker was a big help and the second
fridge in the garage for drinks was amazing.
The best thing , besides the staff at Newman-
Dailey, was the complimentary beach service -
having our chairs and umbrellas already there every
day made setting up our "base camp" a breeze.
Don't forget to tip - the guys really are great!
Having a pool next door was nice, but the water was
too warm since there was no shade all day. Felt
good at night, though!
The one thing that really needs updating is the
mini-blinds. They are old and can't be turned to
keep the sun out very well.
All in all, though, it is a terrific house a very
short walk from one of the most beautiful beaches
in the world, worth the money, and we WILL be back! Reviewed on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 This was the 6th time we stayed at Dominica. The location is perfect! It is right across the street from Pompano Joe's, which is one of our favorite restaurants. The house is huge, and each of the four upstairs bedrooms has its own bathroom, and the vanities are in the bedrooms. The two downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, everyone can have plenty of room to spread out. We once has 16 people staying at Dominica! The upper patio is a great place to relax in the evening and drink a glass of wine.
Another great amenity that draws us back to Dominica is the 3 beach set ups you get with the house(6 chairs and 3 umbrellas).
We have stayed at Dominica since 1999, and the one disappoint is that it really hasn't been updated. It pretty much looks the same as it did 8 years ago. The only change is the carpet on the stairs and upstairs hallway has been removed, and there is now hardwood. It is comforting knowing what to expect, but we have stayed at newer places that make us feel Dominica could use a facelift.
Updated or not, you will love your stay at Dominica! Reviewed on Thursday, September 25, 2008
