Today, we're taking a break from holiday shopping to focus on the New Year. We just got word that tickets are on sale for the fourth annual 30A Songwriters Festival , Jan. 18-20. This is one of the top festivals in South Walton and Destin, Fla. and this year promises many "wow" moments!

The 30A Songwriters Festival line-up will feature more than 125 songwriters and 200 musical performances! Confirmed artists include Lucinda Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jeffrey Steele, Nanci Griffith, Suzanne Vega, Fastball, Tift Merritt, Charlie Mars, Freedy Johnston, Randall Bramblett, The Shadowboxers, Joe Leathers, Gretchen Peters, and Tommy Womack , among many others. In fact, there are more than 57 Grammy nominations among the talented artists performing at the 2013 event.

Venues range from unique listening rooms to spacious outdoor amphitheaters. Each location is distinguished by its own individual vibe, ambiance, and musically-inspired stage artwork and set alongside our sugar white sand beaches.

So what could be more fun for your MLK Jr. weekend than relaxing with friends and loved ones while being warmed by the personal stories, harmonious melodies and powerful vocals of some of the most talented artists in the nation? And you'll be supporting a good cause. Net proceeds from the 30A Songwriters Festival benefit the C ultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and support the arts and education in Walton County.
