Wild Willy’s Adventure Park Opens in Destin with Jurassic Theme

Sure, they roamed the earth millions of years ago, but we have not lost our fascination with dinosaurs. In fact, the recent release of the Jurassic World movie (now playing at AMC Theater at Destin Commons & Grand Boulevard 10), has everyone buzzing about raptors, triceratops, brontosaurs, and the powerful T-rex that saves the day.

Locals are also buzzing about Destin’s new attraction, Wild Willy’s Adventures Park, which recently opened on Okaloosa Island and celebrates these prehistoric creatures. Wild Willy’s features T-Rex Island, an 18-hole, fully-animatronic Jurassic-themed mini-golf course. And with dinosaurs around every corner, families will love shooting for the next hole. There’s also a Tree Top Challenge ropes course for those who like to climb and Ptero Jump trampoline as well as an indoor arcade, pizza parlor and yogurt shop. Guests to the park can also opt to experience the 4D Theater and select from one of three exciting 4D movies, including Dino Safari 4D, Wild West Mine Ride 4D and Bumper Car-Shake, Rattle & Roll 4D.

While visting Okaloosa Island, families can also head across the street to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park to view modern day animals, including the newest member of their animal family, baby dolphin Kaya!
