Register Now for Paddle at the Porch in Destin, August 15

What do you get when you combine a long-time Destin favorite restaurant with one of the hottest new watersports? You get Paddle at the Porch, the Destin Chamber’s annual stand up paddleboard event held in the beautiful emerald waters behind The Back Porch, one of Destin’s most iconic restaurants. Now in its 4th year, Paddle at the Porch will feature a Kid’s Fun Race, a one-mile Recreational Race, a three-mile Recreational Race and a six-mile Elite Race.
 
In addition to all the fun, the 2015 Paddle at the Porch features a $6,000 cash purse, to be split among the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place racers in the 12'6" Men's Elite and 12'6" Women's Elite races. Additional awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall winners, as well as 1st place winners for 50+ and for 18 & Under, and in several categories in the 1-mile, 3-mile and 6-mile races.
 
Registration pricing through August 14 is $12 for the Kids' Fun Race, $48 for the 1-mile, and $60 for the 3- and 6-mile races, with race day pricing at $15, $55, and $75, respectively.  
 
The first 200 adults to register will receive an event t-shirt (Kid’s Fun Race registration does not include a t-shirt). All racers will receive lunch from The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House, which makes every entrant a winner!
