2nd Edition of Where You'd Rather Be Magazine Features Best of Destin and South Walton

Our team receives lots of questions about the Destin community, which inspired our inaugural "Where You'd Rather Be" magazine. Due to the positive response from the first issue, we recently introduced the second edition. Produced in partnership with Rowland Publishing, “Where You’d Rather Be” features the people, places, and experiences that make the South Walton and Destin special.

Last year, we celebrated Newman-Dailey Resort Properties' 30th Anniversary and part of the fun was reconnecting with our extended family of friends and clients to share memories and stories of our time along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Our magazine aims to connect the home buyer, the vacationer, the resident and second homeowner with the local community.

The lifestyle magazine features the welcoming Destin shop owner, the friendly Seaside bartender, the gregarious South Walton artist, and the experienced Destin boat captain, among the many individuals who represent the fabric of the vibrant coastal community. Cover artist Gordie Hinds is among the many friendly faces and personal stories showcased in the second edition of Be Magazine. The magazine’s cover story features the growing craft beer scene in Destin and South Walton. The middle of the magazine features Newman-Dailey’s staff, vacation rentals, Destin real estate listings and association management division, while the back of the book serves as a destination guide, featuring Destin restaurants, shops, golf, activities and things to do in the Destin area.

“Where You’d Rather Be” magazine is available at Newman-Dailey offices as well as South Walton and Destin grocery stores, including Publix and Whole Foods-Destin. Copies of "Where You’d Rather Be" Magazine may be ordered by emailing Newman-Dailey at [email protected] or calling the main office at 1-800-225-7652.
