Loved the location and the super clean room, bed was so comfy and everything was open and airy. Great locale, was a great motel - like they used to be many moons ago but updated and clean and wonderful.

Our recent stay at the Beachside Inn was so special! We brought our dog, Trudy, to have a stay-cay weekend. The renovations at the Inn are wonderful and the rooms are fresh and clean. The beds are the best I've ever slept on in a hotel accommodation and the staff is so friendly! We enjoyed time at the beach and dinner at Camille's never disappoints. The Beachside Inn has always been our favorite choice for a staycation and now it is better than ever. We look forward to our next stay, and so does Trudy! Melissa, Michael & Trudy

No complaints with the property what so ever. We enjoyed our stay there. The area however, is just super congested. We don't travel much so it was a different experience. To each there own though. Some don't mind traffic others might be anxious the whole time. A bit of planning might do some good next time.

Our stay was a last minute decision and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The property was in a great location, close to the beach, and it was clean and pleasantly decorated. The staff was very conscientious in making sure we knew how to get in the room, after hours, and there was even a loaf of delicious lemon-poppyseed bread for us to eat for breakfast which was very much appreciated since we arrived on Christmas Eve! Thank you, we’ll be back!

We come here as much as possible. We love this property, the staff and the location. Staff is always accommodating and go above and beyond. The rooms are perfectly put together and comfy. An easy walk across the street and you are at the beach. Bike rentals are a fun added activity and we also enjoy the fact that we can get meals right here on property. Headed back in September and can't wait!

Well, this is our 2nd year in a row to stay here and we will back for a 3rd next year. The Beachside Inn is such a lovely, cozy place for us and our dog, Summer. Kelli, Peggy and staff are amazing as well. Very approachable, and kind hearts. You can tell they sincerely want to make your stay a great one. We actually had a small issue with our tub not draining. When I went to let Kelli know, she had it fixed within 5-10 minutes. Amazing customer service and it is one of the main reasons we will be coming back next year. The rooms? Perfect for my wife, Summer and I. Loved it. The cafe? Awesome. For a year my wife kept saying she wanted a tuna sandwich from there. The minute we arrived, we went to get one. On our way out, we got another one as well. We LOVE that cafe. The staff there is amazing as well. There's really not a bad thing I can say about this place. We love it, we love the staff, and the simplicity of it all. Thanks Kelli, Peggy and everyone else!!! Can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely little inn and we thoroughly enjoyed our second honeymoon holiday! The location was fantastic, the room was clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We also noted the clean, well-maintained pool. Although, we did not visit, there is a restaurant on the 2nd floor, which looked fairly busy in the evenings. We especially enjoyed morning coffee and pastry at Camille's, a quaint breakfast/lunch spot next door. We look forward to a return visit for sure.

The room was great. The beach access was a two minute walk. It was our honeymoon. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne or a bottle of wine your choice. . The breakfast bread is awesome. The bed was super comfortable

Beachside Inn is a gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but SO close that you can get to all the amazing restaurants and shops if you want. I love, love, love that you can just walk across the street and you are at the most gorgeous white sand beach. Crystal Beach is absolutely amazing. I am definitely planning to go back very soon. The Inn itself was lovely, there was banana bread to welcome us, bright, fresh, clean rooms, lovely bathrooms, good little coffee maker and mini fridge, big comfortable bed. Wouldn't change a thing.

Schöne, saubere u. geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit großer Terrasse u. tollem Panoramablick auf Dubrovnik u. das Meer. Der Weg vom Zentrum in die Wohnung ist wegen der Steigung nichts für Fußkranke u. dauert ca. 15 Minuten.
Die Vermieterin war hilfsbereit u. gab sich Mühe freundlich zu sein.

My condo was being remodeled and I told Jessica at the Ndrp office that I needed somewhere to go-not real expensive. She recommended Beachside. The staff was great. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. The little restaurant was literally 15 feet from our door, and they have good sushi, great food and an easy, laid-back atmosphere.
The only thing that kept it from being perfect was the fact that we were in 201. The kitchen shares a wall with 201 and sometimes there was noise from that area. However, the restaurant closes at 10 and was quiet in the mornings, so it really didn't disturb us. A less understanding guest might have been upset, but we know that this is a real world, and what is, is.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay on Thanksgiving night. It was our anniversary and when we got to our room there was a tasty nut cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We loved the retro feel of the Inn and the location couldn't be better. We were there for Thanksgiving with members of our family who were staying in a house within walking distance. We didn't get to check out the restaurant and it was too cold for the pool but hopefully we'll be back during warmer weather. The beach is right across the street. I would recommend the Beachside Inn to family and friends who might be planning a visit to Destin.

While looking for a one night room for an anniversary celebration, I stumbled upon the Beachside Inn. My wife and I arrived late in the evening and the office was already closed. There was a convenient drop box with all of our room information waiting for us. The room was large and clean. No frills but well equipped. The bed was the highlight as it was large and comfortably. Room was on the second floor and was handicap accessible. The Inn is directly across the street from the beach and made for a great morning walk along the shore. Will definitely return to this establishment.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! We've visited Destin many times since both of us were children and this was the first time either of us have stayed at the Beachside Inn. It certainly won't be the last! The room was very spacious and clean. Our room was right next to the restaurant which seemed busy when we arrived; however I didn't hear much of the kitchen sounds that accompany a restaurant. We regret only staying one night; although, it being chilly that week I don't think we could have enjoyed the nice pool anyway. The location was great also, being only across the street from the beach.

Had a great stay overall rooms were a nice size and immediate access to the beach and convenient to all other areas of interest . Unfortunately I was dissatisfied with my bed it had sand in the sheets which leads me to believe that the sheets either were not changed or the washer used was not adequate. Was also a little disappointed that when the sandy sheets were reported I was just told that they were so sorry and that they would check to see who cleaned the room.

This hotel was beautiful. Located directly across the street fr the white sandy beach and in a great location. I took my boyfriend here who was visiting from Ohio and we had a great time. Our room was very big with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff at this hotel were all very kind and willing to help with anything. I had my little dog with us and they were also very pet friendly! The hotel has a restaurant located with it where you are given vouchers for a free breakfast daily. It was very nice and I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking to get away.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at Beachside Inn (both times were for our anniversary). I'm sure we'll be back for future anniversaries, too. For the price you can't get anything better! Seriously. The rooms are nice and big (we had a humongous King bed with really nice linens) and the location couldn't be more convenient. It's just one street away from the main strip/road with all of the restaurants and surf shops and grocery stores, etc. It's also right across the street from the beach (so you won't have to worry with finding a parking spot at the beach, because you can just walk right over there). The pool is awesome, too, and many times we were the only people there (who wouldn't love your own private anniversary pool!). Camille's restaurant (which is attached to the building) has great food and it's so convenient since again, no driving needed. Since Camille's doesn't open until later in the afternoon, the cafe downstairs can handle your breakfast and lunch needs (awesome sandwiches, OMG!). The beach is beautiful... soft white sand and turquoise water... doesn't get any better! The staff is also super sweet and has great customer service. A couple of tiny things here and there weren't perfect, like the fan in the bathroom was overly noisy... the fridge could have been a little bigger (it's pretty tiny, especially if you're staying for several days)... but those things are minor as I said and didn't detract from our stay. Don't forget... this place is very reasonably priced, so all things considered I'd say we definitely got our money's worth, and then some. The couple of teeny-tiny negatives were far outweighed by the positives. You won't be disappointed in your stay. We weren't... and we'll be back many times again!

The Beachside Inn definitely gets 5 stars with us! Even before we left our home to come there, it was sheer delight to talk to Jessica on the phone, who arranged our stay. Peggy was so helpful on the road to Destin, because we were having car troubles and she gathered information on the nearest Hyundai dealer and had everything ready for us and the directions to get there. These ladies just have the knack for making you feel like a special guest and are so personable. I just don't see how the service we received could be any better.
The Camillle's Café was great and food was delicious as well as reasonably priced, and we say that because most of the restaurants we went to during our stay were in the same price range. If you need a sandwich for lunch, they make amazing sandwiches and we highly recommend the smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich. We grabbed our free muffin and coffee in the morning from the coffee shop, before heading out to our day on the beach or shopping. Definitely a great way to start out your day.
The room we stayed in was "pet friendly" and because our cat was travelling with us, this was perfect. You have no worries with the cleaning staff, they accommodate your every need, and when they clean the room, your pet is very safe staying in the room while you are out and about. The rooms are great and perfect for a quick stay or a longer stay, like we had. They are so much nicer than other rooms we've had that are "beachside” related. It was extremely clean and we wanted for nothing. You'll love the pool and hot tub and such easy access to the beach; it's a "hop, skip and jump” to the beach as Jessica put it and she was totally correct. Highly recommend The Beachside Inn for your stay in Destin and for access to a beautiful beach. We'll definitely go back in the future and you will not be disappointed.

I really did love this hotel. It's a little off-putting when you pull up to park, as the outdoor access to rooms gives the place a motel-feel, but once you're inside the room it's a totally different place! The guest rooms are so cozy and not overdone: it provided the perfect escape for one night. The size of the room was wonderful. I work for a hotel in New Orleans and our rooms that we charge $300 a night for are tiny in comparison! I love the little cafe and the free pastry and drink in the morning is a lovely touch. My friend and I utilized the motorbike rental the morning we checked out and enjoyed it thoroughly, and best of all, the hotel is located across the street from my absolute favorite spot on Destin's shores!
The only thing I found uncomfortable was the check-in process. I understand that it's a small property, but there should be a better option for guests checking in after employees have left for the day. Anyone else checking in late had access to my room number, name, and door code. The little locked cabinet is not a bad idea, but perhaps some more lockers could be installed where each guest checking in late had their own locker with their own code that gets changed daily. It didn't feel very safe... Seeing as nothing happened to warrant the worry, and the area is a nice one, this won't deter me from staying there again, but it is something to consider.
All-in-all, a wonderful place for the nightly rate. It's cozy and comfortable and not overstated. I absolutely adore your hotel! I'm so happy to have found this little gem!

I found the place to be very clean and up to date. The walk to the beach was maybe 2 minutes. The sushi was great and the coffee shop was awesome. I highly recommend. The pool was a little cold, but I guess that is what the hot tub is for!

Small property with a nice, quiet location across the street from the beach. Amenities include a very nice pool, hottub, on-site coffee shop and restaurant. Also, neat patio adjoining hot tub to enjoy breakfast. All adds up to very relaxing stay...just park your car and you will find a peaceful, stress-free environment. I might add the cooling system in our room was modern @ powerful which added to our comfort. The air quality in the room was excellent.

Pros: Right across the street from the beach. Big room. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very good and right next door. Complimentary anniversary champagne was an unexpected surprise. Pool area was absolutely wonderful with an elevated view of the beach.
Cons: Parking during restaurant hours is tough. Reaching staff after hours is difficult if not impossible.

The room was extremely clean! The bed was absolutely one of the best beds I've ever slept in, hands down! The location was pretty good but the room we stayed in was right next to the restaurant so we heard a lot of traffic and noise. Bathroom was huge and the shower was handicap accessible. Overall was an a+ experience.

The Emerald Coast is a beautiful thing. Twelve Canadians descended onto the Beachside Inn in Destin for a wedding.
Although it was incredibly hot, the beach (entrance at Crystal Beach across the street) and the pool at the Inn kept us all happy. Absolutely no oil, just some algae on some days. Bring your own beach towel. Shopping at Destin Commons is fantastic. Although the office closes at night, the staff at Camille's restaurant (open until 10) does everything they can to help you. Bravo.

Our room was very nice with the exception of the mattress which was too soft. Also, we wished there had been a comfortable side chair in the room.
Our other issue was the noisy neighbors right next door - they had no courtesy for anyone and were very loud late and night and early in the morning.
The ladies at the front desk were very nice and even gave us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary.
Loved the central location and the close walk to the beach. Did not use the pool or hot tub. We also did not check out Camille's the on-site restaurant, although it seemed quite popular. We had a hard time getting a parking spot when we returned on Saturday night - there was also a wedding reception going on there.
Overall, I would recommend and probably return.

This was a very relaxing, refreshing and exceptionally clean room. We loved the tiled floors, every hotel should have them. The service was great and a nice restaurant next door with the beach across the street. Would definitely come back.

I liked the room. It was large and clean, and had high speed internet access. But, I didn't like that management wasn't onsite other than a few hours during the day. We had to call to figure out how to get our key. I would think for those prices they could afford onsite staffing.

check-in was fine and desk person was nice. Room was clean, but it was just an old motel room with a too-firm bed, and no extra pillows. Biggest disappointment was it was listed as a "Bed and Breakfast"... What breakfast? We were directed to go next door to a coffee shop where we got a "store-bought" muffin and a cup of coffee. Big deal! I have had better "breakfast" at an Eight Day's Inn. Good thing that Destin has faboulus beaches, or this place would be just like all the rest of the motels along the coast, (i.e. hurting).
You did allow our cat to stay and that was good.

Very Nice bedding. In a handicapped room with no prior warning. Shower head broke on the first day and it took two days to fix it. First attempt was trying to repair a problem that common sense would dictate that a replacement was the only viable solution and the cost wasd nominal - result two days of unpleasant showers out of three:( Nice restaurant and coffee shp. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall better than worse. We plan on staying again on labor day. My third stay with Newman daily. I would appreciate a nice "thank you" rate for our upcoming stay if that is possible.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get out of town for a couple days and hit the Emerald Coast. We found the Beachside Inn online and it had good reviews. I really enjoyed our hotel; it had a lot to offer. You can get breakfast/lunch at the coffee shop downstairs or you can have dinner and drinks at Camille's upstairs. Everything was very clean and competitively priced. To top it off, the hotel is right across the road from the Gulf. I highly recommend Beachside Inn to others and will only stay there when I'm in Destin.

This was a great place. It was so nice to be in walking distance to the beach! The only issue was parking. There were 2 times we had to park on the street because the parking lot was full with restaurant guests. It was a great place and we will defiantly be back.
