Great place for a family and it’s dog friendly! Walking distance to the beach and Destin commons. The prior reviews mentioned ants and the lack of toilet paper/paper towels - none were an issue for us and we stayed for 5 days. We only needed a few more trash bags. Great screened in back porch and front porch, we loved sitting out there in the evening. The front porch could use some new chairs - all were broken besides one. Overall this place was great for our family/kids and a great value. Would stay here again!

The home was comfortable and homey. The pool was refreshing. There were clear instructions on check in and checkout process, as well as a great local restaurant guide. It couldn’t list every single restaurant, but there were some good ones listed. The beach was within walking distance, however, I would’ve loved to have a golf cart to use. Otherwise, it is a place that will stay on our list to possibly return to.

Great place and area! Very clean, with it being pet friendly was great. Kitchen is well equipped. Love the back porch!!! Be careful on the blocks out back though and around the pool, there are ants and they bite! The pool cleaners came once during the week but we never had access to a pool net to clean out the pool so that was kind of annoying. Other than that there are no serious complaints. All in all we had a great time and none of those things kept us from having a great vacation.

We loved staying at this house! The house was amazing, roomy and clean. The pool was great! The walk to the beach was enjoyable. We had an issue with the screen door while there and it was promptly fixed. I could not ask for better service or better place to stay!

We have stayed in Destin many times but this was our first stay in a house. Having a pool just for us steps away from the porch was the best part! At night the pool lights were so pretty! We have always stayed on the beach but the beach was only a five minute walk from the house. We had four adults in the three bedroom house which was a good number. The bedrooms were comfortable and the full size kitchen was nice. Nice to have a grill available. Enjoyed meals on the porch and the table by the pool. The location was also close to restaurants and shopping.

Property was clean. Location is 3 blocks from beach and 3 blocks from shopping and movie theater. Lots of restaurants close by. The pool is the perfect size. I stayed for a month. I had one issue with the toilet and it was handled immediately. Bikes are provided and there are nice bike paths along the scenic drive. I felt very safe in the neighborhood even when I was there as a woman alone. I met the owner and he was very kind and even left me a small souvenir.

Sunshine was perfect for my family and our four legged furry friend. it's a short walk to the public beach and there is an outside shower to rinse off the salt water. There's enough yard space for my dog to sunbathe in a private fenced backyard. The pool was perfect for a family of six. The house is away from major traffic but close enough to the main artery and restaurants. It's a 20 minute drive to the Destin Harbor. A ten to 15 minute drive to the Village at Baytown e Wharf . My only complaint was we had a problem with the shower heads in the master bathroom and the inner shower curtain had mildew. All the bathrooms were stocked with more than enough towels and extra blankets. The photos shown are exactly what you get. It's nicely decorated and very spacious. The enclosed porch was nice to eat evening dinners without worrying about flying raisins aka flies.

Felt like home away from home. Perfect house for a long weekend w the family. Short distance to the beach and nice pool for when the waves are too big. Has everything you need but a few beach toys would have added a nice touch. The master shower needs a new head- it basically just sprays out of the pipe, but it was not a major issue and I still got clean. I would go back to this home for a vacay in the future.

Great single family home in a quiet neighborhood. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Less than a 10 minute walk to Destin Commons. Home feels like a home, not a vacation rental. We had 2 adults and 3 kids (12, 8, and 4) and the home was a prefect size.

This was a nice home for a single family. Perfect size. Actually felt like a home and not a vacation rental. Easy walk to the beach, takes about 4-5 minutes. We also walked over to Destin Commons, which is literally down the street. The only suggestion we have would be to turn down the heat in the pool, it was a little too warm for the weather. But overall this House was very nice and in an excellent location.
