Winter 2012 - We are excited to announce this property has new living room furniture. This already beautiful property is even more attractive with the addition of a new sofa and lounge chair in the living room. This property is occupied and once the guest departs in March we will provide updated photos.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed for a week at Br407 and it was great. The location could not be better, jsut across the road from the beach. We had breakfast on the deck and watched the waves and occasionally the sun come up. You are very close to shopping and dining. This is a very comfortable condo and we will stay again as soon as possible. Did I mention the off season rates!

Me and my family had an amazing stay. There is not one negative thing we can say about our vacation this summer. The condo was clean and exactly what we needed. It was perfect for my family of 4 and my parents. We could gather in the living room and kitchen area or retreat to our individual bedrooms for quiet time. I loved being on the first floor and walking out the back to the beach where out complimentary chairs and umbrella were waiting.

This was my family's first trip to Destin and we would definitely stay at this resort again. The location was great and everything we needed was just a short drive away. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils and everything was very clean. Having the beach across the street and the pool in the back was the perfect combination. The staff was very helpful and super nice. Highly recommended! A+++!!

Overall property is very nice facility; great view from balcony, convenient to restaurants & shopping. Truly is pet friendly with clean & ample walk area for the dog (he made lots of new friends!) Nice pool & hot tub. Our one bedroom unit was perfect size for us. However, the living room furniture was shabby, perhaps old & not enough chairs/seating. The rug in the master bedroom was stained & dirty. The TV was too small; they'd do well to replace it with a larger screen. Well equipped kitchen. Loved having wireless internet access.

This condo was perfect!! It's so close and convenient to the beach, it was just what we were looking for. The condo is beautifully decorated and loved the gated community. I would totally want to stay at this condo again when we visit Florida again!!

We have been staying in the Miramar Beach area for over 10 years now, it's our favorite vacation spot. This was our first time staying at the Beach Retreat Condo and it was beautiful, and the view of the gulf was amazing. We are ready to book the same condo next year!

In response to the review stating the master bed was uncomfortable. I have spoke directly with 2 other renters while they occupied this property, both stated the bed is very firm however it does not sag or have any signs of wear. Both guests also confirmed they loved this property and decor and they were not bothered by the firmness of the mattress. Newman-Dailey will do everything we can to make sure all guests are 100% satisfied. In the two years of renting this property we have received only one complaint about the mattress. Beautiful Facility but Uncomfortable Beds

The condo was very beautiful, and my husband and I were able to relax during the day in a calm, warm environment. However, the beds were so bad that we both got up every morning with our backs hurting. We actually left a day and a half early because of this situation. Other than the beds, it was decorated beautifully!

I drove 12 hours from Cincinnati to Destin with a 3 year old and a 7 month old. We arrived at 5:00 pm Destin time and we were given all of our paperwork. We get to the condo and the number that we were given for the keyless entry into the condo was incorrect. I called and spoke with someone on the after hours line. I didn't hear back for 10 minutes, so I called again and was very irritated at that point. She says she wasn't the one I had spoken with before, but she would get someone to call me back. After spending about 25 minutes standing outside of the condo with my tired and hungry kids, we got a call from a very nice lady that gave us an override code for the door. Aside from this horrendous beginning to our vacation, we love this condo and we love Destin. Just not sure if we will go through Newman Dailey again.

My Mother and I stayed with our 3 little four legged "babies" for 4 nights. The weather was perfect and the view was wonderful! The condo was bigger than we needed but it was great home away from home! We will be coming back very soon!

The view was beautiful. The staff at Newman-Dailey were great. The condo was dirty. It smelled like pet urine. There was animal hair everywhere. If you walked barefoot in the condo your feet would become black. The carpet was stained with animal urine. We would not stay in this unit again.

This is our second year, in Beach Retreat condo #302, with Newman-Dailey and we couldn't be happier. Our condo is perfectly priced, has an amazing location, is always clean and comfortable and we know that Newman-Dailey is just a phone call (or short drive!) away, if we were to need anything.
Our condo became our home for the 10 days of our vacation - I feel just as comfortable there as I do in my own home in Ohio.
We're coming back next year and we already plan to book the same condo!

This was our first visit ever to the Gulf Coast, and we very much enjoyed it. Beach Retreat 407 was a wonderful condo, especially the view. We also appreciated the semi-private beach access directly in front of the property, as opposed to taking a hike to reach the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella were lovely, as was the pool. In fact, the pool was awesome.
Because the experience was so good, we hesitate to list any improvements we feel could be made, because they are so minor. But, we feel there could be a little more seating in the den, maybe one more easy chair. Also, the vent fan in the master bathroom could be replaced with a fan/light combo, as it was a little dark in there. And the TV in the bunk room could be connected to the cable. Lastly, the most important thing, and the only major complaint. The numeric keycode door lock was disabled more than an hour before the scheduled check out time. We can fully understand resetting the code at the check out time, as I'm sure someone in the past has probably tried to take advantage of the situation and snuck back in for a quick shower before the trip home, interfering with the cleaning service. But we felt lucky to not have locked ourselves out with some of our belongings still in the condo. Please consider this when setting the computer that controls the key codes.
It was a wonderful vacation in a wonderful condo, though.

This was our first visit to Destin and it was so much fun. Check-in was easy and the BR 407 was clean and ready for us. The first thing we did each morning was to go out on the balcony and enjoy the view. We will definately stay at Beach Retreat again. Would recommend that the after hours person answering the phone immediately offer to transfer your call to the on call person in that area before answering questions they know nothing about.

First let me start by saying I wish I could give this unit a better review. We rented it because of the amount of bedrooms offered and the space provided in worked well for our family. We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the unit. The unit was dirty... hair balls went floating across the floor, the blankets didn't quite smell right, on the first day our feet were black from the dirt on the floor. The location was good, it is very close to the stairs and elevator. The amenities are great, chairs and golf included. But when we return next year this is one unit we will not consider.

Overall, the stay is really good and relaxing. The ambience and aesthetics of the property are excellent. However, we had some uneasiness with the way the restrooms are maintained. Those rooms were foul smelling;that could have been avoided..otherwise, the stay is good and relaxing..!

This was a great condo. The location is fabulous and the view was breathtaking. If you cannot find a place directly on the beach, this is just as good. Currently, there is nothing blocking the view from your balcony and the walk to the beach is very short. The condo had everything you would ever need from Televisions to appliances and utensils in the kitchen. The pool, spa, and work out room were also nice. During the summer, this could get very crowded however. It paid to go in November when traffic was light. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay, a great view of the beach, a short strole to the beach, and proximity to shopping and restaurants.

How can I say enough about this beautiful condo? It is tastefully decorated, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Gulf. Every morning I couldn't wait to get out of bed and see the Gulf of Mexico and walk on those beautiful beaches. I have been vacationing in Destin for over 25 years, but this was my first stay at Beach Retreat. I can assure you that it will not be my last! My only complaint is I stayed only one week, next year will be two! The grounds are so well kept and the maintenance staff are so kind and proffessional. I wish that they would offer umbrella and chairs in November, as it stayed in the high 70's all week long, but it did not dampen our enjoyment.

We absolutely loved our condo at Beach Retreat! It was perfect for us and our 8 year old son! He loved his bunk beds and it has the best view from the balcony! It is VERY convenient to the beach and has a great pool close by as well and we had perfect weather! We will definitely be back to 407 and hope to be back same time next year! Newman-Dailey was great and so kind to provide the goodie bag when we checked in. Thanks so much for a wonderful family vacation!

We stayed at BR407 and it was the BEST.
The minute we walked into the condo and saw the beach right across the street, we knew we were in for a great time. The condo was SOOOO beautiful, the walls were painted so nice and the red ceiling was perfect. It was clean, nice upkeep and had everything you could want, especially in the kitchen. Everytime I looked for something, it was there! The condo was large. We spent alot of time on the wonderful balcony, enjoying the beach, wave sounds and sunsets. Also enjoyed the daily dog parade down below as everyone walked their dogs.
Close to beach,dining, shopping what more could you want. Will definately be back. Second time to rent thru Newman Dailey and have had a great experience both times.

Beach Retreat is a perfect setting. The grounds are well kept and parking was convenient. The condo is located on the beach and has lots of room including two bathrooms. A keypad lock on the door gave us easy access without worring about keys. It is centrally located and the beach view from the balcony was magnificent.
Everyone was helpful when we checked in and I have used Newman-Dailey Properties in Destin before and I have already recommended them to several of my friends.
Thank-you for a great vacation experience in my favorite part of Florida-Destin!

This is a great condo with a wonderful beach view. You can hear the waves even with the glass door closed. The decor was very nice and beachy. The only downfall was the master bed was a little hard and uncomfortable, but with the views who cares. Overall it was a GREAT place.

This was our 4th return to Beach Retreat 302. It is ALWAYS perfect. We have not had 1 problem, EVER, with the condo or the office.The pool is GREAT, & the beach is right outside your doorstep, LITERALLY!!This condo unit is "the goods"... We will be back,as usual!

This was my families third year and stay with the Beach Retreat. For two years in a row we were able to rent the exact same unit, but this year it was not available so we had to choose another unit we were a little disappointed but when we got to the condo that all changed itwas just as nice as the other unit we stayed in and also it was on the fourth floor so we had an even better view of the beach. Like I mentained ealier this was our third year to stay with Newman Dailey's Beach Retreat and we don't believe we could find a better place to stay. We love the fact that it is gated it mkes you feel more secure in staying there also the units are wonderful, the pool is GREAT, and the views well OH MY GOSH they are the BEST!!!!!!!!!! Every year I personally look through every single one of the condos that ya'll offer and I always come back to the Beach Retreat that is how much my family and I love it. We had a little problem with the TV in BR407, the power button on the Tv itself was completely gone and the remote was not working, but we put in a call about it and you sent someone out with a new remote right away. Would not have worry about it but we have a daughter and she loves to have TV at night so the service for getting it fixed was GREAT. We have only stayed in two of the units at the BR, but both of them are so wonderful that I told my husband that I could live there all the time thats how much I love the BR. You can rest assured that we will be back time and time again. Thanks for another year of a WONDERFUL stay with Newman Dailey BR.

You know it is a good vacation when 2 days into it the whole family starts talking doing it again next year and adding a couple of days. Late check in instructions were clear after my ADD brain figured it all out. Proximity to the beach was awesome and we felt secure at the gated property. My family and I recently stayed at Beach Retreat BR302. I have been to Destin NUMEROUS times through the years and by far loved this resort more than any others. The condo itself was great, beautifully decorated etc. The resort grounds were great as well. The pool is very large for a smaller resort. The location is amazing, the view of the beach was breath taking. Due to the resort size being smaller than others the beach in our designated area was not over-crowded. We look forward to many future stays!

the customer service was awesome! we got lost getting there at 12 o clock at night and they had a person on call to help us for whatever we needed!
the check in and out system was easy to do.

We really enjoy staying at The Beach Retreat. We love the location, the proximity to the beach. Right across the street, with nothing but a great ocean view directly in front of you. Unit BR407 was very nice. We have stayed at Beach Retreat the last two times we have gone to Destin and love it. Kirby was great with Newman-Dailey. She also booked a friend of mine the previous week at Beach Retreat. Kirby is great to deal with and goes above and beyond what she has to do. Great property , Kirby great assitance with Newman-Dailey. We will return next summer.
