I have visited Destin several times and have always thought that the Cyboney complex was not that impressive. However, I booked this condo based on the pictures and the reviews on the Newman Dailey website. It turned out to be one of the better experiences we have ever had in Destin. The two bedroom condo is spacious. It was very clean and well equipped with cooking utensils. The balcony was great and the views were fantasic from the living room balcony and master bedroom balcony (same balcony, different entrances). The building itself is on a slant so it provides the perfect view to where you are looking directly at the Gulf and the beautiful sunsets. Please note, it is on the 4th floor and the 2nd condo from the road. There is only one elevator in the middle of the complex so we found the stairs more convenient. For the money, this was a great place to stay. We could not have asked for more and would no hesitation in recommending this condo. We would only suggest that they put a small table on the balcony so that families can eat or gather. There are chairs, but no dining type table.

we really enjoyed our vacation! The condo is right across from the beach, the condo was beautiful inside, the pool was great. We were a close drive to everything. Drove away from Destin one evening and out of the hustle, found a beautiful quite area, great seafood restaurant, and watch an amazing sunset. The one thing I was disappointed in was that when I picked up my amenity package, I was told that the "free" passes to the multiple attractions could only be used by 1 person per day. So the the boat ride, water park passes, etc that I thought were included were not really any use. I could get one person from my family of 5 in free, ok a 20% discount, but still 80% more than I was expecting to spend. Thus had I done all I told the kids we would do, it would have cost me about $1000-$1500 more than I planned. I complained that that was never explained, and the property management company said that the wording in their paperwork explained it, but I didn't understand it (must have been lawyer talk). But like I said, that was my only complaint. The condo was great, the beach was great, and we still had a wonderful time!! Will try to do this again next time I go to Destin area

We stayed at Ciboney Condo # 4004. The condo was very nice with an excellent view of the Gulf. We were pleasantly surprised to see some newer televisions. All of the rest of the condo that we have stayed at in Destin had '40's vintage Tv's. We enjoyed the beach,Golf,shopping and the great seafood at the restaurants.Would love to see more Golf courses added to the rental package.

Really enjoyed our visit--7 days of sunshine w/o a cloud in the sky! This unit was an outstanding value w/an ocean view from the living room and the master bedroom, nice kitchen and living room area...two larger bedrooms along with a small third bedroom and two full baths plus free beach service daily (don't underestimate the value of the free beach service--it was like striking gold each day!) The complex is small, but well-maintained and while it's nothing too fancy, it's conveniently located just steps from Pompano Joe's which is a great restaurant and a daily stop for exotic drinks, fish tacos for lunch and the best Shrimp Boil ever (served on Sunday from 3-5 only). Very nice and reasonably priced. Thanks so much for a great week in Destin! By the way, Newman Dailey personnel were awesome and we used lots of the coupons you gave us making our stay an even greater value--your office, however, was really hard to find.

Last minute plans were fabulously accommodated by the wonderful staff at Newman-Dailey. Great place, price, and location- just a wonderful vacation to be had by all! Loved having the beach chairs and umbrella provided! Our place was clean, well equipped, and ready for our every need- loved the grand patio with a view of the shore.

Thank you for sharing your condo. How blessed you are to have such a great place. This was our 1st time to Destin, your home was wonderful and comfortable in every way. We enjoyed parasailing and especially the SEABLASTER, the ride was a blast. Harbor Walk is great too. We took some sand back home with us, (just a little) for good memories, it is so pretty. It was myself, my 12 year old daughter, my 16 year old son and his friend. We all enjoyed our time here. The weather was very nice and the water very clear. Another favorite place was Fudpuckers Teen night, the kids all had fun and enjoyed watching them smile and dance. We even extended our stay by 1 extra day before we had to return to work and school. Thanks again.

Over the years I've had the opportunity to take advantage of your many rental units. I've always had
the wee bit of apprehension when opening the door the first time. I no longer have any concern whatsoever
and to be honest I just can't wait to see what Ron and Sandy have done to their unit. I was not disappointed
this year. The master bath has been remodeled with a fully tiled walk in shower. In addition the fixtures
are new and very attractive.
I consider myself very fortunate to be able to spend the winter here for many reasons. Most importantly
Ron and Sandy take an interest in their tenants checking to make sure they are comfortable. I know I'm
welcome here and I also know they are constantly striving to keep my winter home away from home up to date
in every respect.
I would encourage anyone to take advantage of this condominium. Just don't consider January and February.

This unit has just completely remodeled the master bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower and all new fixtures. This work in additon to the upgraded kitchen earlier this year, granite counter tops, new kitchen fixtures, and new bedding makes this is an absolutely fabulous property.

We've stayed at Ciboney and used Newman-Dailey for the past three years. Our Newman-Dailey experience has been very good, especially in light of their agreement to allow us to cancel if we were worried about the oil spill. ( We didn't and glad we didn't!) But knowing that they would work with us has maintained us as future customers.
We rent three units at once for our extended family. This particular unit, and also the others are in need of new beds. I commented on that last year, but I don't see any improvements being made. The carpet in this unit is getting bad, too.
Other than the quality of the beds, we love staying at Ciboney. It is so convenient to everything.
One other thing that concerns me was that we saw numerous pets and saw a sign saying that pets were welcome. We had thought no pets were allowed. This is a problem for my family because of serious allergies, so I will have to investigate this further before staying there again.
One last comment - we liked the amenity package that newman-Dailey has, especially the beach service, which was a draw for us. However the beach has changed this year. They no longer reserve your chairs for you unless you pay another $5 a day. You have to get down there first thing in the morning and put your ticket on the chairs, or you may not get to sit where you want. And if you are not there in the afternoon, they will take up the chairs after 2 or 3:00. I don't think they are providing the service they are being paid for.

Was a very nice condo in need of a little updating but all in all was very clean and good location to beach with a view. Was in need of a little more space to store your toiletries. But would defineately book this condo again. Had a wonderful time and our grandchildren loved it.

The condo was nice and the view absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool, but it was a nice one. However, the 50 inch TV in the living room broke on our second day--so we could not watch the movies or TV we wanted to in the evenings for the rest of our stay. It was uncomfortable to put 1 adult and 3 teenagers on a kingsize bed to watch movies...LOL...didn't work at all. Also, the balcony door and one of the stove burners had to be fixed while we were there. The beach umbrellas were only available the first day (Friday) and were nowhere to be found on the sunniest day (Sunday). The area is nice, shopping is good, and the beaches were fun. :-)

We really enjoyed our stay. Family of 6, parents, and kids 22-14, was perfect size, 20yr old son luved his room w/ twin bed, and other son slept well on fold out. Decorating was great, luved deck and view of Gulf. Weather was great so that was bonus. Would do place and Newman Dailey over again.

I didn't think it was possible to improve on perfection but I do believe you did it.
When I walked in the first thing I saw was the TV and quickly realized that was just
the the beginning. The counter top is beautiful and the sinks set it off. I can't believe
how much brighter the master bedroom is with the new spread.

This was my third stay at Ciboney. This facility makes for a perfect getaway location. Easy beach access and complimentary beach service (chairs and umbrella)were the selling points for me. The condo was clean and well stocked. The only problem I had was getting my wireless internet to work (however it worked great a Panera's - an easy compromise). I loved the freebies package(DVD rental was a hit). Ciboney has a very convenient location to shopping, grocery, etc, without being in the thick of it all. I'll definately be back next year.

The condo at Ciboney was very nice N4007. Everything was nice except the thrid bedroom was really, really small and I could not pick that up from the website. Other than that, everything was great......The keyless entry was perfect along with the tennis courts and swimming pool.

Newman-Dailey employees' are top notch, friendly, informative service providers. We have been doing business with them for about 8 or 10 years now and will continue to contact them for all our Florida vacations. The Ciboney Condo we rented was a nice 2 BD RM / 2 BATH w/washer & dryer in our unit. Loved having all the conveniences of home. The view from our large balcony was not exactly what we expected. I wished we could have seen more of the Gulf from our balcony. We also expected the swimming pool area to be in the court yard and viewable from our balcony (instead it is off the parking lot on the other side of the building.)The Condo location was fine, however we prefer the location of Summer Breeze because of the nice view of the GULF & SWIMMING POOL as well as the very nice public bathroom / bathhouse & handicap ramp to the beach. Three minor things our unit needs to have corrected. 1) Master bath - 1/2 the caulk around tub was mildewed and needed replacing. 2.) Second bedroom - when we arrived the closet doors were off the track. 3.) The AD for this particular unit advertised a "JACUZZI TUB". (Never did find or see a "JACUZZI TUB" in the room or on the property.)AD should be corrected ASAP so as not to disappoint other renters. OVERALL - We really enjoyed our stay. Least favorite thing was having to leave and go home. We could have stayed longer.

This was our 2nd experience with Newman-Dailey and they did an excellent job. Great staff and a terrific location for the property.
The condo was clean and quiet. The only negative I have was the 3rd bedroom is VERY small. It was just big enough for a bed and a nightstand. But it was fine for my 8 year old.
You will not get a lot of exercise in the pool as it is not that big. However, after a day at the beach it felt terrific to just float around in it.
We will look for this condo again for our next trip to Destin!

the office personnel was great ryan was very nice the condo was in good condition with a great view we were in ciboney 4002 and we used the waterpark amenities and the track amenities what i liked best was of course the beach that reminds me of the umbrella service which was great and saved us money also. what i liked least was a shop down the street called alvins its the one right down from ciboney the staff was so rude. i have nothing bad to say about newman-dailey resorts you all rock we will be back soon thanks for having us shanah pillar and family.

the description was correct on the website...located directly across scenic 98. condo was clean and spacious. only one problem with the air conditioner drain...stopped up and soaked the carpet. maintenance was there same day and next to fix and correct the problem. great time overall!!! fyi, pompano joe's does not take "to go" orders at night. :)

The condo was in a great location, with private beach access and a pool. The staff at Newman-Dailey was very helpful. The amenities were nice, free golf, free movies, restaurant discount, etc. The carpets in the condo do need cleaned or replaced, other than that a great place.

Ciboney 4002 has a great view and easy access to the beach. Do not let being on the 4th floor be a concern, that is where the great view is. The stairs are right at your door and the elevator is just a short walk. This unit has everything you will need for a great time. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the free secure wireless internet is great and the TV is huge.
I would definitely rent this unit again!

We thought the unit was clean and very comfortable. We've stayed at two other properties rented through Newman-Dailey and this was by far the best. The decor was lovely. My husband felt the "ocean view" was over-rated (our view was of the back of Mediterranea), but the balconey was spacious. The vent cover in one bathroom was on the floor when we arrived and the vent over the microwave fell off (almost hitting my child) when we opened it. These were minor things. Our issues were mostly with the service from ND. The phone/Wifi modem began smoking on Wed. evening and service was not restored until Friday after 2pm. This meant no land line for emergencies available when modem out of service. No one explained that beach service was not convenient if it was high tide. Mr. Parker of ND maintenance was the only person who truly cared about the problems we encountered. He was great, but we are not sure we will use ND again because it seems once you've paid in full they don't want to talk to you until you turn in the keys. It was our fourth year renting from them and they do not really value loyalty.

We realize how important internet access is in our daily life and the inconvenience when it doesn't work. During my research I discovered that our IT maintenance department tried to repair the modem but was not able to. We were at the mercy of our local cable company. Although they respond as soon as possible it did take a few days to replace the modem. We will contact this guest directly in hopes to retain their patronage. Nice property, very nicely decorated. Third bedroom is way to small to be considered a bedroom, very, very tiny. Air conditioner didn't seem to work on very humid days. Waking up to construction noise every morning was not conducive to rest/vacation.
Lot's of lightbulbs needing replacement in the unit.
Kitchen was nicely furnished with plenty of nice pots and pans, etc...

I had the good fortune to spend 2 wonderful months in this unit. It is everything Ron and Sandy say it is and from past experience I've found that's not always the case. The unit is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you would ever need. The balcony is one of the roomiest I've ever had and is ideal for morning coffee and afternoons relaxing in the sun. Very close to shopping and the unit is far enough from the beach road to provide a quiet atmosphere and yet you can be standing in the gulf in less than a minute. The best recommendation I can give is I've already booked it for next year.

This was one of 3 condos we rented for our family of 12. Two couples and two small children stayed in this unit. It was very nice, and everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided. The beach service was especially nice. There was an umbrella and 2 chairs ready each day.
My only issue was that it is advertised as 3 BR. The third BR is just big enough for a twin bed. That turned out to be enough for us, but it was a little misleading. I expected the unit to be larger than the other 2 BR units which we rented, especially since it costed considerable more; but all units in that complex were the same size.

The condo was ok not really as nice as I thought it would be. We had to move 3 days into our stay because we were not told when we rented the property they were putting a new roof on the complex and would be starting this at 7:00 am and before each day of our vacation so on my first anniversary we had to pack everything up and move so not really happy with not knowing this or would not have rented. The place moved to was much nicer and quieter.
