Great view, uncomfortable furniture

Rental company is great. Excellent housekeeping, friendly and helpful staff. Overall the space is spacious and nicely designed. Beautiful views that are worth the rental for some. But major furniture I used was uncomfortable. Main sofa needs replacing and is lumpy. Mattress in Master bedroom is uncomfortable. Carpet is very old and stained and needs replacing. So I would not rent this again just because of the furniture.

We can't even begin to express how happy we wre with our condominium. The view was incredible... so relaxing to have coffee in the morning while watching the ocean or watch the most stunning sunsets from our balcony. Crystal View Condominuims are extremely spacious, comfortable and just yards away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Kelli Hudson helped with our stay from beginning to end, making sure she explained all the amenities we were entitled to during our stay with Newman-Dailey. She is friendly, professional and the reason our stay was so enjoyable. We are hoping to return next year!

While we were happy overall with the condo, especially with the spaciousness, layout, and proximity to the beach, we encountered a few problems. First, not all of the outlets functioned. With so many electronics needing to be charged, that presented quite a problem. Second, the cleaning crew did not replace the range burners properly, so we had to do that ourselves. Finally, the building was very difficult to find, even in daylight, but we arrived at night, and became very frustrated that it was so hard to locate. Better signage is a must. Still, we will choose to stay there again, especially if we can get a unit on the fourth floor.

I have stay with Newman Dailey Resort Properties since 1995. I was somewhat disappointed with the condition of the condo that I rented. Several things were broken. I found this usual for the kind of property I had rented in the past. I had a great time, Newman Dailey personel was great. I just will not rent this condo again. I have rented other condo's in the Unit that have loved them. Just not this.

What a beautiful place to spend our vacation. Not only was the condo cheerful, children friendly and totally equipped with anything we would have wanted, but also we were suprised at the choice of toys available. It was so very nice to have my mind at ease because I was able to bring my dog.

We are so happy to have stayed in your condo. The colors remind us of our home. We live in a loft in downtown Birmingham and each wall has a different color like your place. The beds are comfortable and we had plenty of dishes to entertain throughout the weekend. This place is "fabulous" and we have plenty of pictures to show family members so that we can all come back real soon!!!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Crystal View 103 last week and everyone loved it!! The kids were in heaven with all of the games, toys and beach supplies. The bedding was perfect for 3 couples and 2 kids with plenty of space, we didn’t feel over crowed or on top of each other. Everyone loved the large deck area too. The decor was fun and bright, really made you feel like you were on vacation and not just in someone else's home. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable, no back aches after this vacation, what a relief. It really is a great vacation rental and we look forward to coming back to this unit specifically. Thank you for sharing your Destin home with my family.

This is our 2nd stay in 103 and we love it! I enjoy the fact that you keep the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and all. We knew that we would not need to pack the "kitchen sink" like we do with other places. It is also great that you have the "baby gear", as we have added a new member of the family. Also thank you for the linens!! It is great to have extra towels. We will be back soon.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Great location and great condo. Even though the pool ended up needing shut down immediately for repairs mid week, Newman Dailey went above and beyond to accomodate us. We were thrilled with the size and full beds in all rooms because several couples went without children. And it was also pet friendly. The only minor recommendations I would have for the owners is to add a television in the bedroom that doesn't have one and the sliding door in the living room is very hard to open and close. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a nice place to stay. Great gulf view and plenty of room. Although for the price the place could use some touch-ups, there was paint peeling off drawrs and doors. With the right touch-ups it would be a great place.

My husband and I vacationed here in early June for a week. We had our kids and grandson, from age 4 up to 23 yrs. old. This unit was perfect for us-everyone had plenty of room to do their own thing or have the whole family together comfortably. We've been vacationing in Destin for 12 years, and this was our favorite place! The views were stunning, we had a nice pool, and a quick stroll across the street to the beach. It was so nice to have the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella set up and waiting on us. The only minor problem was the slow elevator, which was so slow we often just took the stairs. It was a bit inconvenient bringing up groceries and for loading up on arrival and departure. We also used the complimentary discounts for Big Kahuna's and the dolphin cruise. The staff at Newman Dailey are a joy to work with, everyone is pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here again, hopefully every summer!
Enjoyable Comfortable but too short

Upon informing and office knowing through the booking process we arrived after midnight on thursday . Much to our surprise at 6:00 am we were awaken by the condo owner with screwdriver in hand stating he had to fix some wood blinds. Totally uncalled for and could have informed us of this or scheduled with us. This gentleman was there a total of 15 minutes with nothing acomplished .
Upon departure thank the good lord we were packed and sitting in our vehicle at 10:00 because unannounced he shows up again at that time and helped himself in with out even knocking to see if we were there.

Very spacious, great location, enjoyed the slot machine, very comfortable beds. We had a few issues though... outside light on patio did not work, grill outside did not work, we ended up having to go purchase one to be able to cook dinner Sat. nite. Also the main problem were the cockroaches. When we got there one of the bedrooms had a dead one, but didn't really worry about it. But by Saturday morning it was an issue due to the fact that we had 10-12 alive ones after that and they were HUGE. We had children with us and it was freaking them out and they were scared to sleep but we finally got everyone down. I am local and never had problems before with the cockroaches.

The place has so much potential, but it was filthy. We mopped the entire condo, took up nasty rugs, and vaccumed. We disinfected the baths and dusted. We disinfected the kitchen. We never cooked or ate in because of the filth. Please clean your condo. We won't stay again although location and size were plus.

Good location to the beach, and very spacious. I would suggest that the units be cleaned more better. Looks lke the unit is due for some updating.
New kitchen counters, appliances, tile, and a good coat of paint should do it.

the service was good, the home was great except the sliding glass door was hard to open and close, the elevator broke down for a while and the garbage disposal over flowed and backed up. other than that the location is wonderful the view is wonderful, best is the location, the least is like i said the things that i mentioned.

The place is down from Pompano Joe's, the pool is heated, the beach is across the street, this Condo had a decent view of the ocean.
The Condo itself was great, we loved the slot machine. It had everything you needed in the kitchen, plenty of beds plud somr extra sleeping and some nice gaming systems (nintendo Wii). 3 bed rooms, 3 baths were nice. I would definitely stay there again.

The home was gorgeous, enough said! It is very roomy and beautifully decorated. The location could not be better. With the beach just across the street, it makes for an easy walk. There are several shops and resturants close by that you can walk to. Since the traffic is much lighter than on the busy stretch of 98 that runs through the rest of Destin, we felt much safer walking everywhere. We will most definitly be coming back here for many years! The check in/out procedures were easy and quick, and anything that we needed, was handled as soon as we called. Could not ask for more!

This is a beautiful condo with lots of room for our family of seven. There is a whole wall of windows facing East and a large balcony facing the Gulf right across the street. The location was perfect, the beach beautiful, and the rental company very accomadating. The only caveat is there is a construction site next door. They were only moving dirt around during our stay but this could be noisy during the building phase.

This condo has an absolutely gorgeous view from the huge wraparound balcony! You can see both east and west. The balcony is a perfect place to watch the sunsets. The location is also perfect. It is located on Miramar Beach right down the beach from Pompano Joe's, which is our favorite place to eat. You also have your own beach access. The condo is quite large, so you have plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The condo is decorated in beachy colors, but it could use some redecorating. It is a little outdated compared to newer condos. However, if you just want to relax, be comfortable and are not worried about the latest style, this is your place!

The place is beautiful. The condo itself is incredible with unmatched views anywhere I have stayed there in Destin. The property was very clean and everything was very well kept. The pool is very small so if you are taking a family and want to spend considerable time at the pool instead of the beach that might be a concern to you. The only negative experience we had was with the man who is responsible for putting out the umbrelas. He was very rude not once, not twice but three times to me and my family members. I did talk to Newman-Dailey about this, but unfortunately they said it was "out of their control" since they simply contract with the umbrella company for business.

Everything about this rental was wonderful. We traveled with 6 children, the youngest being 14 months, so after a day at the beach (located directly across the street-as was the walkway to get down on the beach)they loved to come back and hang out at the pool. Plenty of room in the condo-and the outside patio was also great. The kids could sit outside and see the kites and parasailers on the beach. The only thing I would have changed was the breakable wine glasses right at toddler height (we put them up high, but that left little countertop space), and also the front door knob. It was at perfect height for a toddler to turn the handle and open the door. Since it did not have a dead bolt, we had to keep a chair in front of it at all times in order to keep him from trying to get outside. Would recommend this place to everyone.
