Fantastic Location and Complex; Unit needs a little TLC.

The location of Harbor Landing could not be any better. The grounds of the complex are very well maintained. Love, love, love the pool areas and the covered parking option. The views from both the front and back of this unit are great and every maintenance person we came in contact with during our stay was super nice.
The unit itself is quite spacious but my husband and I did notice upon arrival that the unit was not as clean as it could have been. For example, there were crumbs all over the kitchen counter, the floors were sandy in places (it's Florida, I know), the master bath shower had mold/mildew flaking off in a low corner and there was an odd "standing water" smell lingering in the unit (nothing a little lysol didn't fix). We also noticed that a number of items within the unit didn't work properly. Not one of the ceiling fans worked without sounding as if they would come out of the ceiling, the clothes iron never got hot, jets in the master jacuzzi tub only moderately worked, there was a broken counter stool in the laundry room on it's side and none of the sliding glass doors locked.
Still, we had a wonderful vacation and would definately stay at Harbor Landing again...just maybe not this particular unit.
On a side note, both the owner of this unit and the property manager were exceptional to work with.
We loved it!

We had very friendly people to talk to at Newman-Dailey. The room was exactly as pictured! We loved everything about it! The views were great, there was plenty of room for everyone, nearly everyone took a turn in the jacuzzi tub, and the washer and dryer was very handy! The beach was a short walk and it was gorgeous.

My son-in-law was returning home from a 15 month tour in Irac. As he would now be stationed in Ft. Walton Beach, FL for his last two years prior to retirement, we wanted to go and spend Christmas with him. There were 6 of us and with 4 bdrms and 4.5 bathrms, everyone had plenty of privacy. Conversely with 2,000+ sq feet of living area we had lots of common spaces to share together. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. We were comfortable and well relaxed. We thank you for a fabulous experience and will see you several times this year.
Beautiful place, great location

This was the 3rd year we have stayed in the penthouse at Harbor Landing. It's a very nice place and well worth the price when it comes to the 4 bedroom condo. It would be nice to have a TV in the guests bedrooms and also twin beds in the guest bedroom. Downside for couples.
The carpet is past due for a cleaning but everything else looks great.
My only real complaint was the rule that only one boat could be put into a boat slip at a time. This year was the first we had heard about this rule. The boatslip was no extra cost when I reserved back in Feb. They now will be charging extra for a boat slip and you can only put one boat in the slip. With 4 couple staying in the condo it is likely to have 2 boats. They happily put us in another boat slip and happily asked up to pay an "EXTRA" $50. a day for the extra slip. We should have been told this rule up front but in the 3 yrs. that was the first we heard of it.
NOW LET ME SAY THIS! when we complained to Newman Daily they did refund us a portion of the boat slip fee. After several phone calls and someone determined enough to insist they do something.
If you don't have a need for a boat slip this is a great place. For us we will be looking elsewhere next year for a place that doesn't charge extra for boatslip.
Still had a great time and love the place :)

We rented two (2) units at Harbor Landing for a family reunion. One was two (2) bedroom unit and one was a four (4) bedroom penthouse. All I can say it is was absolutetly perfect. The penthouse was great for family events. The adults had space to catch up on family events over the past year and the children had room to play.
Best Vacation Ever!

Family Holiday

We love Newman Dailey for recommending this wonderful penthouse.
We recently stayed here for a week over the holidays. We hated to
leave! It includes beautiful furnishings and has a brand new
feeling. There are 2 large master suites (each with a king sized
bed). There is also a bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twin
beds. Each of these has its own adjoining bathroom (and there is an
extra hall bath for your guests). We enjoyed entertaining in the well
outfitted gourmet kitchen with a long seated bar. The large patio
allowed for great bird watching. The living area included a large
dining room and two adjoining seating areas, one with a gas fireplace
and one with a large flat screen TV. It has a large laundry room
with new front-loading machines so bring as little as you dare and
stay as long as you can!
