My family and I loved it. Over looking the beach was a an added plus. The location was excellent for the family and I. We had a blast at in the pool and hot tub. This is our second time staying there and using Newman-daily.Next summer we will do the same because the place is very clean,comfortable and convenient.Everyone at Newman-Daily is nice and friendly.

The suite was first-class. We enjoyed evenings viewing the ocean. The eating establishments were excellent and varied. The weather was co-operative. Shopping was plentiful and the golf was exceptional. The amenity service was superb! We would definitly rent again !

The personnel were all very polite and friendly and accessible. If ever there was a problem it got fixed in good time.
The home is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The view is excellent and the landscape, pool, and hot tub are well kept.
The location is excellent. We are close to restaurants, shopping and Church. We have been going to Destin for years and we are very at home there.
The biggest problem for us at Mediterranea is getting the gate open to park in the garage.
We will be back!!!

This condo is has it all. The number one is the location, the property is perfectly manicured & attention to detail is everywhere, no powerlines to look through to your private beach access. Second the condo it's self is very nice. It was perfect for our family. The under ground garage is very nice. The beach here is really clean & the water was crystal clear. This was our first trip to Destin we will be back we loved it. Newman-Daley was very easy to work with, Cliffy answered all my questions which were many. This is an excellent unit. The furnishings are great and the big-screen HD TV is a real plus. Everything was well-appointed and clean. This has to be one of the nicest units in the complex. The pool outside was also very nice.

Returned to 407C after testing the waters elswhere...that wont happen again. No comparison in comfort and convienience. This place feels like home. Love the size of the pool compared to the development (never too crowded). Love the parking garage. Wll be back next season.

I'll keep it brief! Great location and a really lovely condo with views overlooking the pool and sea. Across the road is the local establishment - Pompono Joe's which is great for food or just a drink.
The condo itself - The owners have obviously taken the time to think about what they would like and accommodate accordingly. Bedrooms and lounge have flat-screen TVs and blu-ray players. Most places have bottom of the line TVs and DVD players so this was a good sign of their willingness to provide a great facility.
The condo was spacious, well decorated and beds very comfortable. I really couldn't find anything negative and felt at home straight away. ...and no, we don't know the owners or have any affiliation with the Realtors/Letting agents!

We love Destin. Our favorite place to stay is the Mediterranea. This was the first time we stayed in 410D. We were not disappointed. It's much prettier than the pictures on the web. It's very comfortable, and the Gulf view is breath taking. We loved it, and will be back same time next year. As always, working with ND was a pleasure and I wouldn't think of using any other agency.

We have booked through Newman Dailey for many years now and have stayed in different condos at this same place. We have always had a great experience with the Newman Daily staff and the condo is in a great location, clean, and easy access to beach. The pool is wonderful too.

i am a clean freak!! i bring all of my own cleaning supplies and wash all of the linens and towels before i can be comfortable away from home. i was so impressed with the towels and sheets smelling so fresh and clean! the toilets and tubs had no hair in them!! the place was furnished with the best of everything!! i dont ever want to vacation anywhere else!!

We have stayed at Newman-Dailey properties in Destin for the past 15 years, sometime twice a year. We have stayed in condos and individual homes. We know we can count of Newman-Dailey to deliver a very enjoyable vacation.. Our condo at Mediterranea 512D was one of the best. The location / views are awesome. From our balcony (and all other balconies in this property) you can see the beach and pool. My son and his family and in-laws stayed in another condo (not rented by Newman-Dailey) at Mediterranea. My son's boss wanted to send him a gift basket in appreciation. Even though they used a Vbro, Newman-Daily quickly agreed to help us the this basket to him. Ryan (at the front desk) was very helpful with this as well as other questions we had about activities in Destin.

We invited our friends last year to come on vacation with us so they could see why we love Destin so much. They fell in love with the area and were anxious to return again this year with us. Mediterreanea 407C is a fabulous condo, very roomy with a wonderful view of the ocean. We had both small children and teenagers with us. The complex is great with the beautiful pool and also the fitness center.

newman dailey is great to work with, service we like best: were beach chairs with shade set up every morning on beach and taken down in evening. The condo was very clean, top quality in decor, the view of ocean incredible, felt safe in condo at night. Only thing we would have changed is better lighting in covered parking under the building when you would come in alone a night.

We were looking for a super-nice 2 br condo on the beach for our first time in Destin. Cliffie helped us find the Mediterranea - just cross the road from their own private beach. We needed a two bedroom with all the luxuries of home - and this property and unit didn't disappoint us at all. Very spacious - and the beds were so comfortable! The views from the unit were fabulous, and the pool, jacuzzi and fitness center were great - used them every day! The only thing we missed were not being able to grill as the property didn't have one on site. Thanks for a great vacation.

We had a great mothers day weekend at the Mediterranea. The condo was very clean and had a great view. The beaches we perfect very calm and clear. My kids had a blast. We will be back very soon.

Mediterranea is absolutely beautiful to begin with. We were definitely pleased by the location and outer aesthetics. The first impression of Mediterranea is breath taking. The private access to the beautiful gulf is priceless, as is the beach chair and umbrella service provided by Newman Dailey. 407 C was also breath taking. Our family and friends were impressed. The kitchen is fully functional. The master bedroom and bath are amazing, as are the other two bedrooms and bathrooms. You do not need to worry about space what-so-ever. The decor is elegant, yet comfortable. And the set-up in the middle building is priceless. Our view from the balcony was amazing. We overlooked the gorgeous pool area as well as had an awesome gulfview experience. My pictures from the balcony look like a postcard. I've lived in this area for over 20 years and never stayed in a place so fabulous. Our friends stayed in another Mediterranea unit and had the same wonderful experience. No complaints! Will definitely recommend and come back for another stay!!!

The condo was very nice, but our first full day we were locked in our condo until 2 in the afternoon,the deadbolt broke. Thank goodness it was a cool cloudy day. Then on that same evening the fire alarms went off in the whole complex, no fire just think it was kids, and then a few days later we had to contact maintenance for a leaky toilet. (I guess it makes for funny memories). One suggestion would be to allow for more than 2 beach chairs as we had 4 adults in our party. Especially for those of us that didn't take advantage of the golfing (don't golf) or water park (no kids). Thank you and we will be back for sure hopefully soon!!

Teresa and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The restaurants were fabulous and with the weather not being quite up to par, we explored areas east and west of Destin. The Magnolia Grill in Ft. Walton Beach was worth the trip and The Red Bar was quite good also. When the weather cooperated, the beaches and the pool were wonderful and the accomodations were second to none. If I had any complaints it would be that the codes to get in the facility weren't explained well and I never did see a code to get to the beach and pool. The lighting in the garage is a bit suspect also.

The condos are lovely and the views of the pool and beach are Fantastic!!! The location is Great, close to everything we want to see or do!!!

We recently stayed at the Mediterranea and had a wonderful visit. The condo was very spacious and the decore' was absolutely beautiful. We were quite comfortable. This time of year the water was a bit cool, but we still enjoyed it! We always stay we Newman-Dailey Resort Properties. We enjoy the personal treatment as well as all the amenities and goodies we receive upon our arrival. Destin is our favorite beach destination in the states. Hope to be back soon! We love the Mediterranea. It's convenient and the units are very pretty. This was our 4th stay but the first time in this unit. I was somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit, particularly the floors. Both the carpet and tile could use a good cleaning. Otherwise, our stay was great and we'll return sametime next year.

We loved the Mediterranea. The condo (512D) was fantastic. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The guys loved the golf package and the girls loved the beach in the complimentary chairs under the umbrella. We also enjoyed the lovely pool. The people in the office were great and made checking in and out a breeze. They directed us to several good resturants. There were several different codes to remember, the door, the pool, and the entrance gate. There was one evening when the elevator did not work and we were on the fifth floor, but it was fixed by morning. Unable to use the Amenity card when the guys were playing golf, because they had it and we were not able get track tickets or movies. Played golf every day. Thanks for the great vacation. We shall return.

Our vacation in Destin was wonderful! This was our first time to stay at the Mediterranea and we absolutely loved the condo! It was by far the nicest and most convenient unit we've stayed in during the past 9 years that we have been coming. I can't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable. I am hopeful that we will have a chance to stay again in the very same unit!

The condo was fine. One thing that would be helpful is a luggage rack to transport from car to the condo. We looked everywhere and could not find one.
As for the amenities we played golf three times, twice at BWB and once at Sandestin. We were able to get tee times we wanted and the courses were fine. Our experience at Sandestin was harmed by a very rude desk person in the clubhouse. Seeing as it costs more and is not significantly different from BWB I do not intend to return due to the rudeness of the desk person. They could not have been nicer at BWB.
Also the beach service could have been better. Since we played golf in the morning by the time we got to the beach several days the umbrellas and chairs were taken (as there were only three set up) and the attendant was no where to be found so we got no umbrella and no chairs, which was a bummer.

Received great service through the reservation process, through check-in, and through the week. The unit was new, clean, and attractively furnished. The appliances were great. Great location across the beach with a great view. Great beach access. Great pool. The features I liked best were that it was a newer unit, the parking garage, the secure environment, the pool, and the attractive appointments. What I liked least was the big screen TV in the main living room. It's an older projection unit, and the picture was often fuzzy. Recommend it be replaced with nice tube TV or flat screen.

Our family enjoyed our stayed at Mediterranea. We have stayed in many different properties over the years but I can say this stay was wonderful.
The decor was very nice, the view from the balcony was beautiful and the fully stocked kitchen was a cooks dream...it had everything you could ask for.
We will be staying there again next spring/fall.

It was really a nice place. Our boys (5 and 7) couldn't stop saying "AWESOME". Pool was big and nice, and easy access to the beach.
The place was clean and can't complain about antyhing.
We took "Little Nemo Fishing" adventure since we had free tickets, but we were very disappointed.
Out of 3 hrs, they only let us fish for 10 minutes.
I don't know if that's usual routine or just that day. It was more of boat riding experience than fishing experience.
Other than that, we had a great time. We will come back definately.

407C is in the perfect spot for a beach vacation with all the amenities one could ask for short of an all inclusive. Our only less than good comments are on the furniture comfort and the cleanliness. I had to wash the windows to have a spectacular view of the gulf. The money shot was through a fog until the windows were cleaned. We also had to clean the bathrooms. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and the king bed in the 3rd BR was very well used. New mattress in the Master was great.
To counteract all this, though, were beach chairs and an umbrella, golf free every day, big Kahuna pass for one, free movies daily and the perfect view of the gulf and the pool.

The pictures on the site don't do 410D justice. Very clean, great taste in decorating, and overall a place we felt at home in while on vacation. A plus is they had free wireless. Huge for me since I'm in sales so I was able to keep work stress from building up while I was away for a week. Pool was great, beach was great, and we started to figure out how to make our way around Destin towards the end.
It was our first trip to Destin and we will be back.

First time we have used Newman-Daily, and first time to stay at Mediterranea even though we have visited Destin every summer for the last 29 years. Well laid out condo and condo complex. Perfect location, beautiful view. Beach service included is a must, and it was included . . very convenient. I want to also really commend the young man (Ryan, I think?) who works your front desk at check in and check out. He's headed back to Florida State soon, you better find a way to get him back next summer. Awesome customer service skills, he has a very bright future. I manage 2 customer service centers in Jackson and Atlanta, if I could staff them with personnel like this I would be doing very well.

I was hugely suprised when I first say the property. My wife was ready to reserve the 512D unit for next year after being in the condo for 5 minutes. The Unit was great, the pool was awesome and the beach access was a snap. I was initially concerned about crossing the road for my 11yr old daughter but it was not a problem. I liked the fact that the property was gated and secure. I like the underground parking and reserved spot. The only small issue was the smaller bedroom bed squeaked and my daughter had trouble falling a sleep. That was remedied when she just started sleeping on the couch. The Views from the balcony were worth the 12 hour travel time.

We had an amazing stay. The vacation home was beautiful and clean...a great value. The booking process was quick and without issue. The view from the balcony was amazing and the beach is only a few feet from the gate. The pool was very nice, especially in the morning when there weren't many people around. We lacked for nothing and the complimentary beach service was great. Convenient to shopping, food, and recreation. A wonderful vacation destination.

We rented 410D for a 7 days. Check in is at 3 pm, we arrived early, but ND called promptly at 3 and gave us our room key code. Our packet was missing the key to the gym, but ND supplied us a key promptly. Check-in took about 2 minutes, check-out took 5 seconds (just drop off the keys).
The condo was very nice, comfortable beds, big master bath, and a nice main balcony view of the pool and ocean. The furniture was a bit cheap (expected), but the beads were comfortable and the appliances were like-new. Nice gym and pool. Easy access to the beach with reserved chairs and umbrella and Pompano Joe's yards away (lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 adult beverages = $80 with a nice tip). Getting to the beach early the first day and tipping the guys well will help reserve a good spot during your stay. I don't think tipping was expected, but it was genuinely appreciated (unlike in Mexico).
We loved the room and the underground parking. The coded gates made us feel secure and the pool uncrowded. My only annoyance was the security guard enforcing a "no drink near the pool" rule. I can understand no glass, but come on. An oddity was a pool card. We had to sign a waver for $50 if we lost it, but we never once even needed it the card.
Tips: 1-If you arrive and your room is ready, check for necessities before you go shopping. We left enough cleaning supplies, paper towels, TP, trash bags, beach toys, etcetera for at least another week. 2-Take lots of pictures of your kids (if you have them) while at the beach.

Overall, the 3bdrm condo was nice; however the patio furniture needs replacing or clean thoroughly. The sofa in great room needs replacing also. I would definitely stay at this resort again.

We had a an awesome experience with the staff at Newman-Dailey! They were
so helpful and really gave us excellent customer service! We fell in love with
our condo! It decorated wonderfully, the beds were comfortable, and it really
felt like home. There was plenty of room with five ladies getting ready
together. The beach was beautiful and the unobstructed view was amazing!

Our family absolutely LOVED this vacation. The condo was beautiful, fully equipped, and so comfortable. The pool and beach were so accessible and easy to reach. We spent our days going back and forth between the two. We would take a break, have lunch, and then go back out for more. We went on the Dolphin Cruise and Deep Sea fishing. Destin was a great choice. We will definitely be back.
