We always have the best a summer breeze unit 104, this year it was good but it needs some updates. bed mattres, bunk beds and couch. we have been staying at summer breeze about 15 years, most of the time it is unit 104. we like it for the grand kids and the pool.just right out the door, can always see the kids.everything about it is very convent for us, we are retired now, and like for things to be close by. we just love and can't wait to get back. thank you very much Newman Daily for the good times for us and our family. I really enjoyed staying in Summer Breeze. I prefer the smaller complexes and first floor access from car is just a few feet from front door. Very clean complex and unit. Location is perfect just across from the beach and everything you need is close-by. I would definitely stay in this unit again and again. Kudos.

The location was great. When we arrived we were surprised to see that the condo appeared to be in the midst of renovation. It looked like some attempts at updating the space had been made, with new appliances in the kitchen and a nice living room. If they continue to complete the updates, the condo will be nice.

We will not stay on the 3rd floor and climb 32 steps in 100 degree temp anymore. This just worn us out for my husband and me both are 64 years old.We did enjoy the view of the Gulf. We would like to come back some day.

We have been visiting the Summer Breeze condos about 9 years now. We have made it a tradition over the years, along with our good friends and their family! We love that it is an intimate setting. In the evenings we love to bar-b-que while the kids play in the pool and the views are amazing. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Weather was fine. Economical. The unit could use some maintenance, such as restroom drains need cleaining, livingroom carpet needs re-stretching. Refrigerator needs new door seals.

Loved this unit, had everything we needed. We saved a lot money just by cooking there instead of going out to eat everyday. Has an outside grill by the pool (which was lovely after swimming in the salty, sandy water.) Loved the beautiful, white, sugary beaches literally right across the street! The water was a beautiful emarald color. This was our first time as a family to have a "real" vaction like this, we have great memories and we still are getting trying to get over the Destin, FL "blues." Everything was great, can't wait to go back!! I would stay here again for sure!

We have come back year after year to this unit for it's location and accommodations. Last year i left a comment card stating the unit was in need of repair - furniture, stairs for the beds in hallway, bathroom, etc. And obviously my comments were either considered trival or thrown away without repairs checked. This year we returned and those same repairs were still needed, plus there were ants - that is a shame. We also experienced problems with the staff at check-in. I added my sister to the reservation so she could check us in advance of my arrival that evening at 830p.m. and she was told i would still need to come in and sign for arrival --- that was the main point of her being added to the reservation, per the reservationist --- You can check your records on how long we have worked with you in coming to Destin every year, but with the complications of checking in and the unit needing repairs, this may have been our last year with your company and this unit. I regret this decision having to be made, but at this point i'm ready for a change.

Our stay at Summerbreeze was perfect. We have stayed there for nearly 20 years in many different units and it has always been positive. This unit was furnished better than any we have ever stayed in and we could not have asked for anything else. Kudos to the owners and Newman Dailey!

It was well equiped for anything we wanted to do. The location just across from the public beach is great. We were amazed at the condition of this property and ask for a change after the first day.

I was disappointed to hear that this property did not meet the guest's expectations and their vacation began with the stress of moving. Many guests have enjoyed and commented about #212 so I am not sure why it was different for this stay. I will personally visit the property and address any issues there. I have stayed at Summer Breeze several times. Its got nice condos for the money spent. The only negative to this condo, is it could use a deep cleaning. It had a musty smell upon arrival, but with the help of a candle it went away.

This is our 3rd trip to Summerbreeze and 302 has been our favorite so far. The kitchen is great and had everything we needed to enjoy our crab legs from Pomapno Joe's in our condo out on the deck! The value, view and the location at Summerbreeze can't be beat. The best views are from the 3rd floor. The people at Newman Dailey are so accommodating and are very helpful, and arranged it for us to stay an extra day right over the phone. We hope to be back again next year. Make sure to take advantage of the grill by the pool area. It's a Great way to end a perfect day!

We have stayed in Summer Breeze before, though in a different unit. Since that unit was unavailable for our dates, we chose this unit. Overall, our experience was nice. The unit was not clean when we arrived, which was a nuisance more than anything. Newman Dailey was quick to resolve the issue.

Summer Breeze 109 is a beautiful rental with an upgraded kitchen and stylish furnishings. Great location in the property as you can walk out your patio to a small courtyard area where the kids can play while the parents grill. A great Destin rental.

The condo is cute, kitchen was super organized and well stocked. The balcony gave the most perfect view of the ocean (It would be great if the City of Destin would bury/move power lines off the scenic hwy) The furniture was clean, well thought out, and made us feel right at home. There was enough space that the kids each had their little area and were so happy. It's so close to the beach it's amazing. Even if you forget something you can just run back to the room!
The only con I can list is not with the unit but with the property. It was Memorial weekend, so that in consideration, it seemed now that ND does not have a property manager on-site there is a lot of community abuse. Not once could we use the pool with the kids because there was a constant college mixer in the pool and hot tub. I believe I have read that ND does not rent to anyone under 25? So we were not sure how that worked out. In the mornings we would tried to go down early, but some of the partiers were sleeping on the pool furniture. In the same spirit parking was difficult. The public parking across the street was full on a holiday weekend, and people just came on over and parked at SB without a thought. I didn't even remember until after I got home and unpacked that I was supposed to put a parking pass in my window - never did it and it didn't seem to matter.
That being said, that was not that big a "con" and we would stay with ND at SB again. This unit was great, super comfy bed and layout. Also there was plenty of storage space for clothes which is nice for a family.
We did not use any of the "perks" from ND and partners so I can't comment on that.
Overall would take my family tomorrow if I could! Would recommend to friends and family.

The owner of this rental has clearly been working very hard to make it nice. There is all new furniture throughout, new living room, diining room and bedroom furniture. Flat screens have been added in the living and bedroom which bring this rental completely up-to-date. You can disregard any previous reviews stating otherwise, it is beautiful and we can't wait to come back. We will continue to rent unit 202 at Summer Breeze.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Miramar Beach for Spring Break this year. The overall experience was amazing. The beach was directly across the street, when we stepped out on the balcony we had a great view of the Gulf. All the information provided by Newman-Dailey was perfect! We rented jet skis, and had some great dinners. I am a runner who was training while I was down there, running along the beach every morning was a definite plus. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the beach, warm weather and needs a relaxing vacation.

The view of the ocean was wonderful and relaxing. It was very close to sandestin mall and all my favorite restaurants. The only complaint I have is the laundry detergent that was used to wash the bed linens and towels. I have very sensitive skin and it got very irritated. Other than that the condo was clean, and in great condition.

This place may be neat and tidy, but it is well worn. We felt as if we were staying at an elderly relative's home. It was very noisy since the unit is on the ground floor right by the only lawn area (where kids liked to throw a football) and BBQ. No view of the gulf since the pool house blocked any type of view. We left early because it was so unpleasant.

Third time at Summer Breeze. This was not the best Unit I have rented. Curtains in the den are broken, bathroom is missing a shower bar that appears to let water in that may cause damage in the floor below.Den needs a better sitting chair. Tv's are outdated and small. Unit could use a new paint job. Overall it felt cheap. The other two times at Summer Breeze were great, I do like staying here and will return but not in this Unit.

We've stayed with Newman Dailey at Summber Breeze 3 previous times. They've always taken care of all of our needs. But this year on the way to Destin we decided to try and stay and extra day. I called the ND office and was told that the unit we were renting was already booked on the day we were supposed to check out, but that they would look for us another unit in at summer breeze. They found one and booked our extra night at a reduced cost. I will always check with Newman Dailey first before booking my future stays in Destin. Absolutely the best staff when trying to take care of their customers.

The condo was nice. Great location. It was in a quiet location. Yes, you did have to cross the road to get to the beach, but it was very light traffic or no traffic at all. We had a problem with the a/C as soon as we arrived, but they sent someone to fix it immediately. The only problem we had was the beach service. You never could locate them. I even started at 7 am and still never found anyone. After waiting and asking everyone if they were part of the beach service crew, we finally moved the chairs and umbrella ourselves. Of course that is when the beach service man found us and spoke to us very ugly.

Just got back from a fabulous week on the beautiful Miramar Beach with the wife and kids. There was a little seaweed and there were a few tar balls in the water, but overall the beach and water were just fine. The condo was in "average" shape and, as usual, the view sfrom the third floor balcony was fantastic!

Our experience was great. Our stay was everything we wanted it to be. Everthing was very clean and decorated nicely. The location was awsome , everything was close. I thought this was a really nice place to stay. It was very clean and decorated nicely. It seemed to be fairly recently updated and was not worn out. There was enough room for our family and was very convenient to the pool and to the beach. We were there for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The kitchen had all the cooking items you could need. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. It was much needed. Condo 202 at Summer Breeze is in need of some attention. Paint. The blinds in the living room. The stopper in the bathroom sink. The TV screens are really small (maybe 19") The microwave screen does not function. The linens and mattresses (ony a double in the master not a queen) are worn and saggy. There is a pervasive dank smell... However - the grounds at Summer Breeze are fresh and clean and I always love the location.

Service from Newman-Dailey was very good at the begining, but when we encountered a problem, they offered no help at all. The condo had the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever experienced. It was a futon sofa, very hard and stained. Two wicker chairs with no padding and the bed was very soft. I slipped and fell in the bath tub and felt the overall condition of the condo was poor. The floors were dirty and in need of some major updating. The location was very good and the amenities were a pleasant surprise. The location was the best about the condo and the furniture was by far the worst!
The people that own this condo need to be asked to update the condo and the furnishings in particular. Otherwise, I would suggest that newman-daily does not risk their name and continue to rent this to unsuspecting guest such as us!
ALso, when a problem occurs, I feel some type of monetary return should be expected.

Service received was excellent. Loss of refrigerator was handled better than could be normally expected. Compensation for loss of contents was generous. Location of condo offered excellent view of the gulf. Bed was comfortable. However, the seating inthe living room was impossibly bad and if not changed our rating would be lowered to - "do not rent under any circumstance" Also if you like to read it will be near impossible in the evening hours. The only adequate light comes from the sun during the day. The weather in March 2010 did not add to the limited enjoyment of this vacation.

It has been several years since we stayed at a Newman-Dailey Resort property but the service we received has not changed. The staff were extremely helpful from making our reservation to check in. The condo was small but just the right size for the two of us. We felt right at home. The location was quiet which is just what we wanted. The pool was very nice and the location to the beach was great. (just a short walk). We were close to Pompano Joe's restaurant and ate there several times. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Can't wait to go back.

The problem we had with this unit was the comfort of the furniture. The bed wasn't great, but we could handle that. The sofa in the unit was probably the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered. I pity anyone who had to try to sleep on it. There was nothing comfortable to sit on except the kitchen chairs.

Although we enjoyed our stay and the view/location is wonderful, this unit has some issues. To start, the bed is broken. Not good for a 1 br unit. The closet door is broken. The sink plug handle is broken. Lights out, peeling paint, etc. I could go on, but it's simply a maintenance issue. Walk the unit Newman-Dailey, and fix what's broken.

I enjoyed my stay in unit 302 of Summer Breeze. Your agent suggested that we take the top floor and she was correct. Our view out the front door was great. The Condo itself, while obviously showing some age, was clean and well equipped. The seemingly recent upgrades to the kitchen were nice, especially the granite. Beach access was easy and the amenities package really worked. We had someone to setup an umbrella and chairs each day. The Dolphin cruise was fun and the folks were wonderful. The Location was perfect, although the traffic in Destin was very frustrating. Traffic will effect my decision to return to Destin. The mattress in 302 is worn out and I woke each morning with back pain. I was also surprised that there appeared to be no effort to recycle, although this seemed city wide. I would recommend Newman -Dailey to friends and would also recommend Summer Breeze. Thank you for an overall pleasant stay

The Newman-Daily staff were great to work with. They were very helpful in arranging for my rental and made sure I had all the information I needed before my arrival.
The location of the unit was great - right across from the beach with a nice view of the beach. There is traffic on the road but it's not hard to safely cross.
The unit is small - I can't imagine having more than 3 people in there. The living room furniture and bunk beds aren't very comfortable but the rest of the interior of the unit was nice.
The best part of the deal was the complimentary beach service - having the two canvas chairs and beach umbrella available for us all week was wonderful! Thanks so much for this amenity!

Everything about the Condo was great! When we walked in, I was just in AWWW. My husband who is very difficult to please, enjoyed it just as much as we did. When I looked outside from our deck the gulf was so clear and the dolphins would jump and come so close to you. The condo is roomy and relaxing. My girls stayed on the bunk beds which they absolutley loved and we stayed in the master bedroom. Normally mattresses are never that comfy, but I slept so well the entire time. I would 100% go back again in a heartbeat!

There was nothing left to be needed that a quick trip to the grocery could not take care of and while your out get a free movie.We decided to take the 3rd floor to let the grandkids get full veiw of the beach and waves, the look in their eyes said it all. Even though it was abit chilly to get past your knees in the water, the sand castles was just as much fun and they got plenty of swim time in the heated pool. We will return but maybe.....without kids next time :)

The service was great at check-in.The condo could have been a little cleaner as far as the linens go.The remote in living room did not work well. The bedroom TV seems to be going out it had issues at first turning it on with the picture.They had a service man come in and replace the dishwasher while we were there. The location was very nice and we enjoyed the free movie rental.The balcony was a nice place for sun at the time it was still a little chili.Over all the location was nice but I think a little over priced for rental as it was .

Thc couch and chair need to be replced badly. I put a sheet on them rather than sit on them.
The chairs outside need to be sanded and painted.

This is the second time we have been back to Summer Breeze. We were
recommended by a friend to book our stay through Newman Dailey and I am
so glad we did. From viewing the individual condos online to having someone
live to speak with and answer my questions was great. Everyone at Newman
Dailey has been super friendly and helpful which makes for a wonderful trip.
We love the location and ease of Summer Breeze. Fantastic view from our
balcony, great price, great for small family. Another review said #306 was not
clean, but that must have been addressed as the condo was very clean and
bright. All it needs is a Mr. Clean magic eraser to take away some marks on
the wall by the bunk beds. If you are looking for a family friendly, cozy place
to chill out at the pool, beach or even have a cook-out, then this is it. Go
online to check out the individual condos as the units are individually owned
so some units are much nicer than others. We love the access to Pompano Joe's
and the beautiful beach the most, I just wish we had more time to chill out. We
will definitely be back!

The rooms were clean and the view was pretty good. The living room and
balcony space was ample. The decor was inviting. The laundry was
convenient. The place was just as described on the website. This is the
second time we've been to Summer Breeze. The place is great for families
and has easy access to the beach. The beach "setup" was a great plus since
we hate dragging an umbrella and chairs around. The water and beach
were perfect - clean and clear, not too noisy. The lifeguard was a nice
addition.
Some downers - the first hose spot was not working, the view of the beach
from this particular unit was partially obscured by the pool house and some
of the neighbors stayed up late by the pool so the balcony became less of a
getaway. The kitchen was lacking in good serving utensils and some of
them were worn out. The appliances were good. One of the pans was
warped and made cooking more challenging. The mattress on the fold out
sofa was only comfortable for the 6 year old in our family. The 10 and 14
year olds complained that the springs were in their backs. The bathroom
could have been better stocked with a few extra towels.
Overall though the pluses outweighed the minuses. A good

We enjoyed our stay at Summer Breeze. The 1-bedroom unit was enough room for our 2 adults and 1 child. I would not recommend booking for the maximum capacity, however--6 adults, I believe. The location was perfect--just a few steps from the beach and just down from one of our favorite casual places to eat in the area--Pompano Joe's, which is right on the beach. We rarely ventured away from that small area. We did take advantage of the freebies for the race track/entertainment park. We picked up our ticketsand saved them for our last night, which made for a fun, almost free night.

I was dissappointed with the staff at Newman-dailey. After driving from Tx to FL, I expected to have my condo ready for my arrival. Upon arrive, I cannot find my key at the agree location. It took two phone call and two hrs waiting time, before someone from Newman-dailey to call me back with my key location. I did not get into my condo until about 2 a.m.

Overall very nice place. Close to the beach and other area restaurants, etc. The bath tub drained slow so it was difficult to keep the bath clean, etc. Otherwise it was very nice.

Summer Breeze were a perfect location to enjoy all Destin had to offer.The room was nice and the kids loved the bunk beds.As a parent I loved the amenities program it really saved us alot of money. My family can wait for our next Destin vacation.We will be using Newmwn-Dailey again.

My husband and I have brought our grand daughter, Hailey to Summer Breeze for 7 years. We have some friends who come at the same time with their grand daughter and the kids (who are now 13 years old) say its a tradition and we always have to stay there.
Condo 210 was very nice. Recently redecorated. I really liked the fact that they had flooring througout the condo instead of carpet.

I have stayed in the same condo w the same group of girls for the past couple of summers and it is wonderful each time. A dear friend of mine from New Orleans ( Kevin Newton) is an owner of one of the condos in Summer Breeze and is the reason that I have started these "Girl Trips". We all have much love for the area and the condo. We will continue to make the time to have our trip. It's always a sad day when we are packing our cars to head home. Thank you for such a great spot!

We absolutely loved staying in Summer Breeze Condominums SB204... the nearness to the beach, the balcony looking out over the pool and the beach, the comfort of the unit. Everything we needed was there... and the staff was very responsive when we had question. We especially loved the daily chairs and umbrella set up on the beach... We felt we were living a life of luxury for that week!
We absolutely plan to return next year!

My family has rented from Newman-Dailey in the past and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences! This was our first stay at Summer Breeze, and it is perfect for a small family. The location of the condo was great - my children love the immediate access to the pool area! My husband and I also enjoyed that we could sit on our porch and still supervise our daughter swimming! The beach access was great as well!

This was a good place to stay if you wanted to be right on the beach and we did. I didn't want a place that I would feel obligated to enjoy all the extras since I paid for them. It was just a short walk across the street to the beach. The chairs and umbrella were great as well. We may stay here again, but maybe no on the third floor.

My sisters and I along with a great friend of mine spent our summer vacation at Summer Breeze this year. It was the absolute perfect place to stay! We could not have asked for better! The view was priceless, the location was amazing, and the condo was a great place to come home to!!
The only suggestion I have is if there are more than two people staying you'll need extra trash bags and toilet paper.
I would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone, and we will be back again next year!
Can't wait to get back to Summer Breeze next Summer!

This was our second year at Summer Breeze and we will definitely be back. It was our first year in 104 and we were happy that we selected it. The amenities were great - our kids were happy and entertained the entire time. It was lovely to have the porch looking right out onto the pool. Our only complaint is the pull-out couch. The mattress is unbearably uncomfortable, even when placed directly onto the floor. The cushions have also seen better days. Despite that issue, we will still request 104 when we return. Thanks for the great vacation!

Location, location, location! We were so happy to be footsteps away from the beach and even enjoyed the view from our balcony. The condo was very roomy and pleasant. We enjoyed having the kitchenette and the bunk beds were a plus - perfect for kids! The only thing I was bothered by was the cleanliness. When we arrived into Destin, we were told the condo wasn't ready, but would be within the hour. We got a call 45 minutes later letting us know it was ready. I'm not sure that the whole place could be decently cleaned in that short amount of time, but it did look ok. The dining table was quite dusty and the bunk beds were barely made - so I was a little weary about their cleaning habits. I also think these condos need to be updated on the inside - furniture/colors, etc. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay at Summer Breeze. They have everything you need for your stay and the views are spectacular! : )
