  The home was in decent condition overall, but it could definitely use a regular pest control visit. The Florida cockroaches are huge enough to be caged and they belong outdoors, not in the pantries, cupboards, and bathroooms. After recovering from our fear of falling from the tin-foil staircase, my family was able to manage getting up and down with minimal scratches on our heels. Honestly, rubber bumpers would make a huge difference and add a feeling of security when using the flimsy stairs. The basic cable was a generous offer, but HBO would definitely make up for having only one DVD player in the great room. The bedrooms have outdated TVs and one even has a TV/VCR combo... Hello 1989. The best feature this home has to offer is the pool, which was very well maintained. It would have been nice to have an air pump for all those wonderful water toys to play with. Again, the property was an overall nice place to vacation, it just needs a little modernization.
