Happy Mother's Day

We want to extend a warm welcome to all the moms arriving in Destin, FL today for this spectacular Mother's Day weekend filled with family-friendly activities.

Today, kicks off the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County's ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival by the sea in Seaside, FL. More than 130 artists booths are set up for the juried art show, which begins today at 4 p.m. The festival continues through Sunday with interactive activities for the kids, art workshops, live music and more. www.ArtsQuestFlorida.com

On Saturday head over to Henderson Beach Park for the Okaloosa Arts Alliance Family Fun Arts Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features arts and crafts vendors, a silent auction, performances by local artists and more. www.OkalossaArts.org.

On Sunday, music will fill the air at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin with live performances by nationally acclaimed artists, including Atlanta rockers The Shadowboxers, country music duo Coldwater Jane and American Idol Top 40 contestant Richie Law. Headliner and country music star Darius Rucker will take the stage at 7 p.m. to perform many of his chart topping hits.
