Celebrate the Holidays & New Year's Eve in South Walton

Come home to South Walton for the holidays! The relaxed beach vibe and celebratory holiday and New Year’s Eve events along Hwy 30A and throughout Miramar Beach make this the perfect destination to host holiday celebrations of all kinds.

For New Year’s Eve, South Walton choices are diverse and range from family-friendly gatherings to chic adult parties to cozy personal celebrations on the beach.

In Sandestin, the family-friendly Baytowne Countdown kicks off at 7 p.m., featuring live music and a breathtaking fireworks show over the lagoon at midnight. Couples who wish to get dressed up for a special night out can enjoy Baytowne Countdown from the water, aboard the Solaris Yacht. With three decks, a five-course dinner, live entertainment and champagne toast at midnight with fireworks overhead, the Solaris is well-suited for ringing in the New Year.

On Highway 30A, the Seaside Countdown is another family-friendly celebration held on the grassy amphitheater in the charming town of Seaside, Fla. With live music by the Dirty Guv’nahs and arts and crafts for kids, it’s a celebration that has something for every member of the family.

In Blue Mountain Beach, the 2nd Annual Paddle Board Drop will be held at Redd’s Fueling Station on Scenic Highway 30A. Last year the "Drop The Paddle Board" drew an enthusiastic crowd of revelers who witnessed the board drop at midnight EST/ 11 pm CST.

The evening begins with Redd’s famous Singing Bartender Show along with an elegant buffet and two complimentary drinks. The brightly lit paddle board will accompany the 11 p.m. countdown followed by a champagne toast. Tickets are $40 per person for dinner and entertainment and the paddle board drop is free and open to the public. Learn more at www.reddsfuel.com.
