The SeaMist is an amazing condo! Great location, gorgeous view of the beach and gulf, lots of room, real sense of home! It has everything you need when it comes to cooking in the kitchen, chair and beach toys, puzzles for rainy days, blow dryer, very comfortable beds!!! Master bedroom is a delight with listening to the waves crash at night while sitting on the balcony! There are 4 decks, so plenty of room to sit outside to eat a meal or to just enjoy your morning coffee and perfect for sunning!!! The beach is literally out your back steps of the deck. Our family had an amazing Christmas at the SeaMist this year and definitely will be back again!! Grocery store and shopping mall is very close and all our favorite restaurants too!!!

Very clean and great location! The entrance to the third bedroom with the two double beds is located through the garage which stumped us at first, but it was no big deal. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a blast on Miramar. We’ve stayed in a few different places while visiting Destin, and this is by far our favorite. The pricing might seem a little high at first glance, but with the location and perks, it’s definitely worth it. Walking out of our back door and landing on the beach is definitely the way to go. We enjoyed a free round of golf and was going to use the free parasailing, but we got rained out. The property was super comfortable for all 8 of us. We did not need to contact the property owner, because everything was in order the entire time we were there. We’ll be back here for sure!

We had a great time! This property is right on the beach. Coffee over looking The Gulf of Mexico and even saw a few dolphins in the process. Grand kids loves that they could walk to the beach and then back up for lunch, so convenient.

Fantastic location on deeded beach. Our section of the beach was not crowded like it is down by the Wales tale or Pompano Joe’s. Quiet and comfortable. The chair service was an added bonus.

We loved having three balconies with their amazing views of this beautiful stretch of the beach. This is within walking distance of Bad Ass Coffee, Pompano Joe’s and other restaurants. There is also a nearby convenience store. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family and plenty of seating. Each family having our own bathroom was a plus! The outside furniture is top quality and comfortable. It was great having chairs and toys provided and located in storage on the lower deck.

We were looking for a nice and quite place afront of the beach to spend thanksgiving, this house was spot on, few yards and your feet are in the water, you open the window and you can sleep with lessening to the waves and bird and the view is very good. One thing you should know is that the room on the ground floor has it own entry from the garage and it own exit from the Balcony, so it’s not suitable for kids,

This townhome was beautifully appointed and what we liked best was that both of the "master" bedrooms had beachfront views. We had a child with us so needed the upstairs with the king bed & the second bedroom. But we wanted the other couple to have a view of the gorgeous beach as well since they were the ones that were truly visiting the area. We loved having the beach chairs set up for us every day and found a nice supply of other beach paraphanelia to use compliments of the home owners.

If you did not know any better you would think the beach area in front of the townhome was private which my family loved loved loved! The chairs the owners give were very much appreciated. All the beds slept perfect and the balconies were my favorite. Already looking to make my plans for next year and stay here.

Seamist Townhomes #6 was a wonderful gathering place for our family of 6! Very nicely renovated and close to the Outlet Mall and, of course, right on the beach! Enjoyable stay and we will certainly return.

Perfect location and directly on the beach. Checked all of the boxes we were looking for. The property needs a lot of work/updating. Toilet paper dispensers and towel hooks were constantly falling off the walls, televisions weren’t plugged in for some reason, etc. Absolutely perfect location and will definitely return to the area, but some TLC for the property would go a long way.

We enjoyed the property very much. The best part is rolling out the back door right onto the beach where our beach chairs and umbrellas were set up every morning. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants for those evenings you don't feel like cooking. The decks give you an excellent view of the sunset and one morning we even woke up and walked east on the beach to the see the sunrise. Well stocked kitchen and private space for everyone. Of note, the 3rd downstairs bedroom does have a completely separate entrance that is through the garage with an exit to the deck/beach, so not appropriate for young children to use on their own. Overall we had a great time.

My husband & I rented this home for our daughter and her husband as a honeymoon gift & they loved it!!! It was his first visit to the beach and she loved seeing his reaction when he stepped out onto the deck to see the moon shinning so bright and glistening on the water. Unfortunately, the temperatures took a dip on their short days there in early December and it was too cool and windy to get in the ocean, but the privacy and views made up for that. Being from Tennessee they also enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights on the Palm trees, the great food and the convenience of everything being so close by. When I asked how they'd rate it from 1-10, They gave it a 10, so THANK-YOU!!!! :)

I was here to check on a house I am purchasing in a few weeks. This place was perfect because it is right on the beach. Perfect for morning walks, sitting outside watching the sun set with a glass of wine from the top floor balcony and easy to get to anything on 30A.

My family and I which is a group of 6 had a great time at the SeaMist #6. The townhome is right off the beach. Yes, I read in the previous reviews that a room is connected to the garage and separate from the rest of the house but it worked out cause my older teenager stayed in there cause he wanted his peace. You can access that room from either the garage or the balcony which goes to the beach. I think the down fall was that I thought that the place was kinda secluded and ended up being the opposite. It is right off a major road and the other houses/townhomes are right next to each other.... like 6 feet apart. Pictures were kinda deceiving on that part. I had no clue those houses are so crammed. Looks like you can rent golf carts and bikes to ride the busy road. The stay was nice though. Looking out of the balcony to the right and left I saw major crowds on the beach but that was several houses or condos down. Had a good area to relax and kids to play. The beds were comfortable and clean. Good stay!

This is a beautiful place to spend your vacation or weekend. The location in front of the beach is excellent. By early morning there are beach chairs and shade under you name waiting for you. We enjoyed the house is clean , it has everything you may need and parking is excellent too. I will comeback with more family.

As another year is over I wanted you to know that I enjoyed my stay and already miss the townhouse I had a wonderful time and am anxious for next year. I was going to let you know this and also tell you the outside light by the front door was never changed. Also the drain spout off the master bedroom is off. The winds blew it and I tried to reconnect but it needs to be tightened. When the wind really blows it comes disconnected. Thank you for another enjoyable couple of months. Mary

We had an amazing time at this condo! The kitchen was fully stocked with every pot or pan you could need. Be aware though you will need to bring salt pepper etc as there was none of that!! Would definitely come back

We stayed from Dec 23 to Dec 27 and had a great time. The town home has direct access to the gulf and the deck is the place to be on in the evenings for that amazing sunset views & sound of the soothing waves. The decks are big enough on all 3 floors for 10 people to enjoy and relax. A few more upgrades would be ideal. The mattresses in the 3rd bedroom were sagging in the middle which made sleeping very uncomfortable. The door to the bathroom squeaked a lot.(could not find WD40:)))!! The door to the master bath is off hinges and had to be lifted to close!!!! Carpets needs to be replaced on the main floor...... And finally the internet was down on the last day. That did not go well with the kids.... I guess if these things are taken care of, it is a nice town home for family & friends get together...

The location of this property is amazing. We were not disappointed. The service was great and the unit was very well appointed. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed. I have a feeling Destin will be an annual trip!

We stayed a month and enjoyed our beach life. Location is ideal. Great, right on the water restaurants very close. pizza, wine tasting, souvenir stores, gas station, convenience store, ice cream and more across the street. Winn Dixie and Outlets just down the street. Decks on every floor with wonderful Gulf views. Check in and out couldn’t be easier. They do have hairdryers and the WiFi worked very well with 4 of us using devices. Lots of stairs for exercise so be aware. Would rent again!!

We recently stayed at the Seamist 6 for a wedding that we were in town for. It was absolutely Perfect!!! the views from the patios were breathtaking! The patio furniture was very nice and comfy! It was very clean and roomy for our 5 adults. I wouldn't recommend if you can't do stairs... everything is up and down stairs no matter where you want to go. We would definitely return again! This review is from 4 women over the age of 55 who get together twice a year to spend time at our favorite place ... THE BEACH. The Check-in at the office was excellent. Everyone was very professional and to our surprise we were given a goody bag filled with supplies (dishwasher soap, dish soap, laundry soap, local magazine etc.). Many of the road in this location are under construction and made it kind of hard to get around. But there are many wonderful shops and restaurants in walking distance from the property. The condo was okay. It really needs a deep cleaning and some updating. Most of the pictures are bleached out and all the lamps are in need of new shades. The bedding is outdated but the beds are very comfortable. The floors, carpeting and baseboard need a good scrubbing and walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We took all this into consideration because we did book at the end of the season and that is usually when that detailed work is scheduled to happen. It just wasn't done before we arrived. We didn't report those issues since we were on vacation and didn't want a cleaning crew or painters there working for days. We did have an issue with the deck hose leaking and called that in to the office and that was fixed within a couple hours. Again, the customer service is excellent. It was so nice to have beach service!! Our chairs were set up by 8:00 am and taken down at 5:00 pm. There are beach chairs that you can use at the condo for after hours. We brought our own chairs since we knew we would be on the beach till sunset. Even thought it was fall break for the kids and the beach was crowded in the public area's, it wasn't by us. We did walk to a couple of restaurants and they were EXCELLENT! There is a wine tasting place but avoid that! The employees were rude and unwelcoming. Overall our stay was very pleasant and the best part of it was you're only steps from the beach which leads you right to the most beautiful ocean. The sunrises and sunsets are truly breathtaking. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we all did.

First of all, I want to thank Newman -Dailey for taking pride in what they do. Next, I would like to personally thank Ryan. Ryan helped us from day one. He communicated with me from the first day we booked this place until the last day of vacation. That means a lot to me! Since we grill and I told him that information, he had someone clean the grill a bit extra for us. Last, we had small issues when we arrived but as soon as I contacted them, those issues were resolved immediately. This stay with my family was the best one yet. This property was amazing!! Super convenient with kids since it’s just steps from the beach. I was very nice to wake up and walk to your chairs and umbrella already set up for us every morning. House was clean and cozy!! If I was to have anything negative to say it would be that the wi-fi is terrible, but we where there for the beach and not for the wi-fi. Great place for access to some great water in the Destin area. The balconies were excellent for grilling out and having family time morning and evening out there. We could not ask for a better Thanksgiving vacation. The weather was beautiful and the beach was by far the most amazing we have ever visited! It is very private and relaxing and we loved the sugar sand! The kids enjoyed paddle boarding, surf boarding, and tubing. The house was very clean and well-kept. We appreciated all the views from the4 bedrooms and the easy walk onto the beach! Big thank you to the owners of SeaMist 1, Newman-Dailey and Destin for the laughs, sunburns and, of course, the memories! We hope to come back soon!

My family and I stayed here and it is very nice. The location is great on the beach, a quieter area if you are looking for that. The deck is beautiful for sitting and watching the ocean. The rooms are good size and very comfortable. There a few negatives which is why I gave 4 stars. When we arrived it smelled like urine for awhile. Bring a good set of knives if you plan on cooking, the ones there are very dull. We did see a fair amount of palmetto bugs, one of which was in the silverware drawer. Also, if you plan to grill, bring one. The one there is totally rusted out. Overall it is a great place to stay and we would definitely go back there. The beach service was great and they have a variety of beach toys.

Three couples stayed in this townhome comfortably. The townhome was nice but could benefit from a few upgrades in terms of furniture. The three decks off of the bedrooms and living area were superb to see the sunset and enjoy the brilliant sun. Newman Daily was very responsive to anything we asked for. We would stay at a Newman Daily property again.

Great location with great views. Can't beat the proximity to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and really like the Townhome. The only downside was the Internet/wifi was very slow, but it wasn't a big deal. We'll definitely look into the Seamist Townhomes for our next visit.

Part of my family got to enjoy staying at one of their townhomes for a few days! It was super close to the sand and surf. Right on the beach! The area is always clean and calm. We enjoyed the multiple decks the home came with. We would stay in Destin again and definitely call on this company to help find us our perfect getaway home. I hope we were respectful guests! Wonderful, beautiful and amazing describes this town home! The views, decks and being an end unit were great! They had just installed new floors, fixtures, paint and bedding right before we arrived. Also, great deck furniture too! We even saw 16 dolphins making their morning rounds from the top deck! You literally walk down the deck stairs right onto the beach. What a pleasure to stay in this rental, it even came with two parking spots in front of unit, washer and dryer too. Beds were comfy, unit was super clean and Newman Dailey was outstanding just like all the reviews we had read online said! Don't hesitate to use them they were terrific and honest folks.

This condo is absolutely amazing. The view could not get any better! There was plenty of room for our extended family. Everything we could possibly need was provided and we got a lot of use from the grill. We saw dolphins every morning just as we would wake up and have coffee on the deck. We went deep sea fishing while we here and we highly recommend it! Just a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

We meet our friends each year to bring together our families and settled on beautiful Miramar Beach near Destin. SeaMist 1 was absolutely perfect. The kids could run right out from the house onto the beach- we were able to enjoy outdoor meals and watch gorgeous sunsets from the decks and we were even lucky enough to watch dolphins frolicking in the ocean one evening! Just perfect!

Unit was clean and well appointed. We did have an issue with the AC going out in the bottom bedroom the first night. Maintenance was on site within the hour and had it back up and running. We also had a leaky kitchen sink which was resolved lightning quick as well. We had sea mist 1 last year and the both units were great for our vacation. Newman dailey really do a very nice job with their rentals. Highly recommend!

This was such an amazing beachside rental. We are a blended family and this was our first family vacation. We had a blast! The beach was amazing, the condo was nice and the location was perfect too. We made a lot of good memories at Seamist. The beds were nice and comfy which is always a huge plus. This was also my baby's first trip to the beach and ocean.

We came to Destin for vacation and really enjoyed ourselves. The house was perfect size and perfect location. Beachfront and walking distance to different restaurants and shops. So glad we chose to stay here, we can't wait for next year!

We completely enjoyed our week at Seamist #6! The location was perfect. Very quiet stretch of beach but close drive to good restaurants and amenities. The customer service was second to none! Excellent communication from booking to check out. We had 1or 2 very minor issues that were no fault of the realtor, but they fixed the issues immediately. The house is so comfortable and tastefully decorated. The gulf view from all 4 decks was perfect. It was clean and had plenty of kitchen necessities for eating in. The best feature of all was the beach service. Very comfortable chairs and a sturdy umbrella set up for us daily. With my fair skin the umbrella was so appreciated. We will be back and bringing friends!

This was a beautiful beach home. We especially appreciate the floats and beach toys that were available for our use. We really enjoyed our stay at SeaMist 1 and we are hoping we will be fortunate enough to rent it again next Spring Break. This place had everything we could ever need!

Wifi was fine even when we arrived with rain & clouds for 2 days. Pre-Christmas was a little chilly but worth having the beach to ourselves. My girls even braved the water like it was summer. Worth having a beachfront so that we could run in & out for snacks & RR breaks. Beach smell mostly due to carpet but easily fixed. Unit also has inner tubes & boogie boards which was a plus.

Our week was great! Enjoyed every minute!!! Our accomodations were great and very comfortable. Even met the owner while we were there, he needed to do a small repair and asked if it would be an inconvenience. He was very nice, just wish he could have eaten lunch with us!!! Our beach location was awesome enjoyed walking out on the porch to sit and read! I hope to come back to Destin again, and would definately contact your agency again and would like to stay at Seamist!! The whole process was simple, called and made reservations, check in and checking out was very easy. Can't wait to go on vacation again!!!

This was our first time in Destin, FL, and we had a wonderful time! This condo was exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean, well-maintained, fully-stocked, and most importantly, right on the beach. We went with two other adult couples and we thought this condo had just the right amount of space so we did not feel crammed in there. It was so nice that you literally walk out your patio and the beach is right there...couldn't get much better! I think our favorite part of this rental was since there was only 6 units on property, it was fairly small building, so it was very quiet AND the beach in front of our property was also perfect with very few people. We were so glad that we did not go with a bigger unit as the beaches in front of those properties were so packed with people, so this was absolutely perfect for us. The city of Destin was so very clean and nice as well. Overall, we were very impressed, we would come back for sure!

Once again we had a wonderful time here. We were at Seamist 1 for the months of November and December. Overall, the weather was great. We were able to try several new restaurants and we really enjoyed watching all the people on the beach enjoying the warm weather. And thank you so much for the new recliner chairs that were delivered during our stay...they are fantastic! My wife and I just spent a perfect October week at Seamist 6. It felt like our own private Beach. Since the closest High Rise Condos are about a half mile East & West of Seamist our area of the Beach was never crowded. Plus with the Circle K just across the street, The Wynn-Dixie & The CVS just down the street and the Outlet Mall just across the Highway, everything was just a quick drive away. Seamist 6 was clean, comfortable and well decorated. Furniture on all 4 Decks and perfect ocean views. Above all we liked the quick and easy access to The Beach. We will be back. A 5 star condo. This was our first time to Destin, FL and it was absolutely fantastic! We have been to many other beaches within and outside the US and this was by far our best experience. One of the major contributing factors to our great stay was the staff of Newman-Dailey and the great accommodations Seamist #6 provided. The staff was extremely friendly and responsive, and the townhouse was great. I'll be hard pressed to even attempt to stay somewhere else the next time we return to Destin. And we WILL return to Destin SOON!

This was a great place to spend our Destin vacation! It had really cool views and a seperate apartment on the lower level. Everything was decorated nice and it was very clean too. My family had a super time and we are looking forward to staying here again!

My family stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The townhouse sits right on the beach and has great views.....plus it had a beach level garage apartment that was perfect for the teenagers to hang out in. It was comfortable, nicely furnished and close to everything! We hope to come back again next summer!

Loved our time at the condo - this is our second time we rented here. It's clean and I like that it is like a home away from home with all the amenities there that we don't have to drag from home. I do have two suggestions for improvement: One suggestion is to have a hair dryer available (even hotels have this) - I don't travel with one anymore. 2nd suggestion is to groom the natural grasses between the condo and beach. The growth was a bit much to try to maneuver around to get to the beach and my children and I often had scratches and thorns in our feet. Also - we noticed spring breakers (yes college kids) this time walking in front of our condo all day everyday. This was not the case when we stayed 2 years ago. Though my oldest son enjoyed the view, it did take away from the "family" lodging. I hope that this distraction will be kept to a minimum or I'd be tempted to look elsewhere for our family vacations. (Plenty of police officers were patrolling the beach to keep the underage drinking at a minimum). Overall, they are quick with maintenance needs - we had a leaky refridge which they were repairing the next day. Great time - even though the weather didn't cooperate.

Our stay last week was two days of wonderful and six days of cold and stormy. But the location and accommodations at Sea Mist 1 were perfect for a fun and restful stay! Everything was provided except food for our comfort. And the kitchen provisions were perfect for cooking meals for six people, adults and kids. But most of all, the furnishings, inside and out allowed us to relax and enjoy that beautiful beach. Thank you for your attention to all details and the ease of check-in and check-out.

We have been coming to the Destin area for over 20 years. For the past 5-6 years have been staying in Miramar Beach at Newman-Daily properties. Our favorite by far is Seamist 1 (I think we have stayed there 4 times). We love the location and everything that is provided in the unit. The additional refrigerator in the garage is great to have and we put it to good use. This year we stayed November and December and we had the most wonderful weather, nicer than we have ever had before. When we first arrived we had an issue with a ceiling fan and your people came out immediately (within hours) to fix it. We later had an issue with the heat and again, your people came out quickly and fixed the problem. Newman-Dailey is the best! See you again in November.

Have been going to Destin area for over 20 years. This is the second time we rented the Seamist #4. Loved it the first time and the second time was not a disappointment. You can't beat the location. It is close to everything (shopping, restaurants, etc.) not to mention the fact that you can step onto the beach from your balcony. Amazing views from the balconies. This is our 3rd year to stay in Seamist, 2nd stay in Seamist #1, by far our favorite. We have been coming to Florida for nearly 20 years and this was our best trip ever and we are looking forward to visiting again next year and have extended our stay to 2 months. Weather was trhe best we have had in years and the beach was gorgeous. Can't wait to return. We received very good service, had one minor issue we noticed shortly after arrival and it was immediately taken care of by Newman Daily. Seamist 1 is great, great location, well equipped and friendly neighbor - Don is great. See you next year!

My husband, son and daughter stayed in July of 2012 and let me say, it was so enjoyable! The rooms were very clean, it was great to not share any bathrooms and all the bathrooms are recently updated. The view on all the balconies was better than the pictures, the kitchen was stocked with more than one could need to prepare delicious dinners. Check in was incredibly easy, and checkout even more so - just call a number and leave. One thing I would stress is that if your children are younger, the bedroom on the bottom floor is a completely separate entrance that is not easily accessable for parents and while our 15 year old loved the privacy, it would not be good for younger children. The grill was also not in very good shape, and we had to purchase a propane tank when we got there which I would have just brought with us had we known. Overall, I would say the experience was very good - I cannon say enough about the beauty of the beaches - it was very close to some wonderful shopping, and the sand was so soft and clean. Very close to areas to parasail and jet ski as well. We will likely return for another great experience!

The entire family loved being directly on the beach with seamist 6. Inside is comfortably decorated and provided everything we needed. The downstairs area off the garage is good for my daughter and her husband to give them the privacy they wanted. The rest of us had the two upper floors which provided plenty of space to relax.

Our family rented Seamist #4 for a week at the beginning of June, and we absolutely loved it! Everything was fresh and clean. The bathroom and kitchen upgrades are very nice. The view of the Gulf from the balconies was breathtaking, and the private access to the beach was really nice, especially with three kids...It made it so much easier to keep track of them! The location of the townhouse for non-beach activities was convenient. We didn't have to drive more than 15 minutes. We loved it there so much that our family has decided to make an annual weekly visit!

We haven't rented many vacation spots so we didn't know what to expect, but this place went beyond our expectations. Everything was clean and nicely decorated, making it feel like home. Though we tried to think of everything, we had forgotten our beach toys, only to find an entire closet filled with them for our use. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen had every utensil (except a sharp knife) that we would need. The air conditioning worked well, the bed coverings were just like home! For our week stay in Florida, we felt safe and at home. I'd rent this anyday again!

We spent our vacation week in Seamist #4 and could not have been more pleased with this townhome. We loved the view of the beach and the gulf from 4 balconies, and stepping right onto the white sandy beach. Maybe the prettiest beach anywhere. How beautiful and convenient. We watched porpoise daily. We loved the townhome itself, very modern and comfortable for all. Lots of parking too. Great escape to paradise. Don’t know who loved it more, the kids or us adults. We’ll be back to Seamist #4. Can’t wait for next time.

We would like to express our appreciation for the lovely townhome we have rented every year while visiting Destin for our winter respite. Seamist #4 is a great place to spend time. Not only is the view out on the deck spectacular with the vividly blue waves rolling onto the pristine, sugary beach just feet away, but the home itself is like home away from home for us. The home has been recently remodeled with new cabinetry and granite countertops in all of the bathrooms and kitchen. The furniture and walls are lovely with a tropical/beach touch. The new appliances are just another bonus! We have easy access to all of the fabulous restaurants, golf courses, and shopping that we so enjoy during our stay. We just cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Destin.

We stayed in Seamist #6 which we have stayed in before and love it. The renovations done to the unit are absolutely great and we look forward to staying again same time same place next September. You might want to clean underneath the brand new beautiful kitchen counters. Seems the workmen forgot to vacuum out under there when they were through. We had a wonderful two weeks, very relaxing, had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Our Daughters wedding right outside the back door was perfect. We loved staying at the Seamist Unit 1! The townhouse was beautiful, and we loved being right on the beach. This was our first trip to the area. Most of the service received was either by phone or email. We used the late check-in option which was very convenient. Seamist #1 for us was great. I liked that each bedroom had its own bath and the main kitchen/dining area was on a separate level than the bedrooms. The neighbor, Don, was helpful and always shared the daily paper. It was nice to be able to cook some meals. The kitchen was nicely equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. The sunsets were beautiful which we could watch from the deck. We loved that we could just walk out the door and be on the beach! The only negative I have is the gas grill. It was in tough shape- a bit difficult to grill on. I would definitely come back again.

Check in was very easy. Location was perfect, loved being able to walk right out onto the beach. Which worked great because we got married on the beach and had reception and cake on the lowest deck with the beach and ocean in the background. The three bedrooms worked out perfect for our group, however the bottom bedroom was hard to access because you had to go down through the garage to get to it. Due to the cold weather it was hard to keep that bedroom warm. Also, thought we would have internet access but did not. Overall, we really enjoyed this unit. It made our Valentines Day Wedding perfect!

Upon check-in, we were greeted and remembered from our many past visits over 20 years by Kerby, a vivacious Newman Dailey employee. We arrived at Sea Mist 1 which had been highly recommended for the recent upgrades. We were not disappointed. All new kitchen and bathrooms which hosted granite countertops and beautiful tiles throughout. The bedding was all new and extremely comfortable. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy for any cooking we chose to do. All new flat screen TV's! Being right on the beach has always been #1 priority, and this property offered a spectacular view and access to the beach right out the door. Three decks with chairs let us decide if the beach was where we wanted to sit, or close to our unit. Will definitely book this unit again! A great place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary!

We liked the home,but had issues with the air conditioning. There needs to be air for the upstairs and air for the down stairs. Also, the adults did really enjoy having to share the 1st floor room. There really needs to be one room for each couple. The view and the fact that we had everything we needed to cook our meals was great, but the air was an issue when we stayed in May and an even bigger issue in September. Really needs to be fixed if you want people to return. I can say that our group does not want to stay at this place when we come back. Sorry!!!

I have used this property previously and was well satisfied with this booking. Having used ND over some 20 years now when booking my vacation requirements in Destin/South Walton area, you may rely upon their representations regarding a specific property and should an issue become present, ND will resolve it immediately. The unit is clean, well ordered and well maintained with both sufficent chairs and beach goods as you might require.The property site is in a good state of repair as you would want and Don, the full time resident will assist you in guiding you to good resturants, services and stores. The website does not do this home justice! We've stayed in Newman-Dailey Resort Properties three other times, and this one was our favorite. Words cannot adequately describe the experience of being able to walk right out on the very private beach from the townhome. When we arrived we were pleased to find out both master bedroom AND bottom floor guest bedroom had walk-out balcony/patio overlooking the ocean. This is in addition to living room walk-out as well. This is the best location to stores, restaurants, etc. However, we enjoyed it so much we ate most meals in because we didn't want to leave this beautiful location. We even cooked our own fresh seafood one night and ate at the large table on the spacious balcony off the living room. This was the perfect beach vacation, one which we'll remember always. We have stayed at SeaMist on several occasions. This year was the first time in #1. The weather was great, water was beautiful and accomodations perfect. The remainder of my family stayed in SeaMist #4. However, when we arrived, there was urine soaked linens left on the stairs wrapped in a blanket (we put in garage) The bedroom on the top level - street side had a bad smell when we arrived, which continued to get worse. We checked underneath the bed and found dirty sheets with human waste. After searching for gloves we placed the sheets in the garbage. The washing machine quit working while we were there, but was replaced the following day. (excellent !!) The master bedroom developed a bad leak from the ceiling and we had to place pans on the floor to keep from soaking the carpet. I called your office the morning we left and talked to someone about all of this. I was told someone would return my call. Needless to say, I've not heard a word from anyone. We will vacation in Destin again next summer, but undecided where to stay. Mr. Capshaw is a GREAT asset to SeaMist !! Still waiting on that call back !!

Condo was very nice, clean, well stocked with the amenities from home. It was awesome having having all of the beach chairs and toys on the lowest level closet. We never bought anything for the beach since it was already there. The neighbor "Don" was awesome. Don being a local helped us with where to eat, shop and such. He even gace us a daily paper every morning! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year!!

The service rec'd from Newman Dailey was top notch. We had a couple of issues with the condo and one phone call each time was all it took - they were fast to respond and take care of the issues. The townhome was great although it would have been nice to have had a TV in the 3rd floor bedroom. We could not use the pantry because the owners had a lock on it and the fridge didn't get a cold as we would have liked. When we have previously stayed in Seamist #1, we had enjoyed the bottom level "storage" that was full of beach toys but this unit was again locked by the owners. This unit was very nice but just didn't seem as "user friendly" as unit #1. The location was wonderful and the beach was a dream! I appreciated the daily beach chairs and umbrella delivered and set up ~ compliments of the Townhouse owners. We loved the townhouse being right on the beach! IF you plan on needing the internet while there, goodluck. We had thought that it was included but had a hard chance EVER picking up a signal. Our family had a wonderful time and look forward to next year!!!!!!

Overall a nice place to stay. We had minor issues with the house when we arrived. 1.) the grill, it was very dirty, to the point that I would not put food on it. This is the second year in a row we needed to have the grill serviced before it could be used. 2.) The garage door did not work properly and had to be serviced. 3.) The property was advertised with a gargae, but I could not put my minivan in it because of a large refrigerator that restricted the van from fitting. 4.) 2 of sliding door locks did not work and had to be serviced. 5.) The AC took over a day to get to a comfortable temperature and we didn't sleep well the first night. 5.) the biggest concern and one that will keep me from ever leasing this property again, was the fact that I was told by Newman-Dailey personell that all floors were connected from stairs within the inside of the house. not true; the bottom floor bedroom was only accessible from the outside decks or through the garage. I actually eliminated other properties because of this very feature before selecting this unit. My kids were scared to stay on that floor because of the lack of accessibility to me, in the main part of the house. Very disappointing. We made due with the situation and I slept there for much of the week with my kids, not in the nice 3rd floor master bedroom. From the good things perspective: The beach was great and the house was situated perfectly close to the beach. The decks made for nice views. And the proximity to things we did was a bonus. The beach toys that were available were nice. And the funtastic program helped with some expense. The umbrella and two beach chairs that came with the rental was a nice bonus. Besides the issues, we still had a nice stay. I just wish these types of things were looked at more closely (especially the bottom floor issue) before arrival. The last thing I want is to devote part of my vacation on issues, especially when we pay the rent we pay for a weeks stay.

We were thrilled with SeaMist 4 during our week-long beach vacation. The townhouse was comfortable and roomy enough for our family of five (including two teenaged sons and 7-year-old daughter),the kitchen was stocked with any gadget we were looking for, and the unit was quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella placed near the shore each morning identifying our "private" section of beach. Our week could not have been more wonderful and we would definitely stay at SeaMist again. Thank you for making a special family vacation perfect!

This was my fifth visit to Destin within the last twelve months. It doesn't get any better than Seamist 1. I have fallen in love with Destin and how could you not with everything that comes in this package. I spent seven nights, cooked every meal except one and found every utencil even Paula Deen could need to cook a family dinner in this fantistic kitchen. A deck off every floor, A gas grill, A lower deck storage room stocked better than Alvin's Island with all your beach needs... This unit is breath taking. I hardly left the unit the whole week. My husband played golf "free" with our package every day. If you come to Seamist bring nothing...It's all there. I can't think of a single thing that could have been added to our Townhouse to make it better. If I ever stay in another unit It will only be because this unit wasn't available. This unit has a resident neighbor who was wonderful. He checked in on us,assuring us that he was next door in case we needed anything. He brought us newspapers to go with our coffee. He and his wife treated us as if they had known us for years....The only down side to this vacation was I had to come home.....

This was the first time we vacationed with our entire family, kids and grandkids. We had a wonderful time. Staying here and right on the beach was the best. The condo was clean, well equiped kitchen, and a great location. It was wonderful for the grandkids (ages 2,4,5,and 6) to be able to sit on the beach and play in the sand just outside our condo. We took advantage of the rides at The Track, which they loved. We have been to Destin many times but this trip was special.

We stayed here with our 2 small children (ages 3 and 1.) Being right on the beach was wonderful! Also, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants close by (10-15 minute drive). We enjoyed the free golf, mini golf, and rides at the Track. We also rented free DVD's to watch in the evening. The only drawback to this townhouse for families with small children is that one bedroom is downstairs off of the garage. It would be perfect for families with older kids or for two families vacationing together. We were not comfortable with either of our kids being two stories below where we were sleeping with an outside balcony leading to the beach. Therefore, all of us slept in the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Overall, a very nice and comfortable townhome. We'll definitely be back again!

My husband and I took our two kids to the beach for a week. This was the first time we ever stayed in a townhouse, now we wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. with every thing we needed, and the beach only at the bottom of the stairs. we want to come back every year. I would recommend the seamist #1 to any couple or couples, with or without children.

Great location! The only thing that was a little frustrating was that we had a hard time controlling the temperature. It would get either really cold or really muggy. The condo, however, had everything we needed including chairs, floats, and unbrellas. It was so wonderful being able to wake up and walk straight onto the beach! The views from the multiple decks were spectacular.

Very nice vacation condo. Decorated very nicely and comfortable. My family was there for a softball tournament and we enjoyed our stay at this condo. All the neccesities were there. We only had to get our groceries. Just feet from the beach was very important to me.

We would highly recommend Seamist Townhouse 1. Everyone would love to go back again, even though it rained for the last 4 days. It feels like home with a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, and a grill on the main deck. It is nicely decorated, but not too fancy. The extras like tickets to The Track, Little Nemo fishing, and free movie rentals saved us money. Check-in was easy and quick. You have a fantastic view of the gulf from each of the 4 decks. If the weather does bring you indoors there are cards, puzzles, games, and of course TV or movies. Two suggestions: 1 - check around before you buy anything, it is probably already there. 2 - we can't recommend the sleeper sofa. Be sure and say hi to your neighbor Don. He is a great help.

We (the Oregon Crooks') wanted to take our family (the Georgia Crooks;) to a place neither of us had been but that was close to Georgia. We picked the Gulf Coast because of all the wonderful things we heard about the area and we were not disappointed. It was one of the best vacations's we have ever had. The Seamist Townhomes were the best. Our unit was fabulous and perfect for two adult married couples, and three teenage boys (grandsons). The unit was in perfect order, the view was breathtaking, the sand and surf right off the deck were absolutely the best. We hope to return someday. We would highly recommend this unit and the services of Newman and Dailey to everyone.

We spent Thanksgiving on the Gulf! Our Townhome was beautiful,clean and centrally located.The neighbors east of us were very informated about the area of things to see and do. We have been already discussing when we will be going back and hopefully will be able to get the same townhome. Our children are in junior yr of high school and jr. yr. of college which any parent would know at those ages are hard to please. But the set up of the townhome allowed every one their privacy. Even mom and dad. Newman/Daily handle everything for us. All we had to do is e-mail, pick-up the key and return it. Thank you Newman/Daily for helping us celebrate a perfect Thanksgiving!!!

This trip was absolutely wonderful. The weather was great and the water was fabulous. Probably the best we've ever seen as long as we've been coming. The condo was updated since we were there last and it was very, very nice. We always love staying at Seamist #1. It's our favorite of all the places we've stayed.

Seamist Townhome #1 is a great place to stay. It is directly located on the beach. It has plenty of room for an average sized family. Waking up every morning with a direct view of the Gulf from the third floor bedroom was tremendous. The townhome is located close to shopping and entertainment. I would definately stay there again without any reservations.

Seamist townhouse #4 was tremendous.My family had the best time.Location Location Location this was the best place we have ever stayed and we go to Destin every 4th of July week.I know it the cost is much different in the winter months and that is great.This year was the first time to come during Thanksgiving Holiday and it was the best.We want to thank you so very much for the easy check-in and awesome service your company provided.We will return!!!!!!

A quiet and private spot with excellant permanant resident neighbors. Complex has everything you might want and none of the things most visitors try to avoid. Lovely panorama of the coast, plenty of room and is well maintained. I've been doing business with Newman-Dailey Resort Properties since 1986 on a semi-annual basis and have been more than satisfied with the properties they represent and the firm's level of care of guests and trustworthiness are above reproach.

The townhouse was really nice. We loved it. However, I was told upon renting that I would have wi-fi, this was not the case. I called newman daily about this and they said it was the owners choice not to have it. That's all fine and dandy, but I felt I had been mislead, and lied to. In this world of all the computer and technology, it should be available in all your untis. Good grief, open up a newman daily site, and let us use it. We also experienced a bossy old retired full time resident at the end of the town house row with way too much retired time on his hands. If we did something he didn't like, for example: the trash in the trash cans. He would write little notes and stick them to the door all the time. He even had the nerve to call the unit one night, because my small child had turned on the outside lights. He chewed me out saying it was really bad, and it upset the "sea turtles" OK, I get it, no problem, we are tourists, on vacation. I don't appreciate being dictated to. Your company needs to have a chat with him, his behavior bordered on harrassment, hence swaying towards not wanting to stay there again. This is too bad, because we really loved the house.

Myself along with five of my best friends visited together to celebrate our 40th Birthdays! The townhouse was tastefully decorated and very well equipped! Pleanty of towels, beach service was fabulous, plenty of space for our group! We cooked in many nights and loved all the outside decks! We have decided to make this an annual event!
