Summerspell

We spent two weeks in Sumspell 305 in February and loved the location on Scenic Highway 98. We could see the beach from the balcony and I enjoyed working and reading out there. The condo is perfect for a couple with a small dog. The bedroom and kitchen were great. The only bad thing was the living room furniture. The sofa and chair were uncomfortable. We made it work, but it wasn't ideal. We enjoyed walking to some restaurants and walking on the beach.

This is a great place that is comfortable and it's a very short walk to the beach. We could not have been more pleased. We loved having restaurants within walking distance. Looking forward to our next stay!

We love Summerspell!My family had a wonderful time, very close to everything. Loved waking up and looking out the window at the wonderful beach every morning. My children loved the free movie rentals, we picked two movies up the one day it had rained. Will be back! This condo is nice and clean and has everything you need!

My husband and I, plus our little four legged child, really enjoyed our week-long vacation at Summerspell. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated as well as quiet. We loved having the beach directly across the street. We walked to Pompano Joe's and the other restaurants the time we were there. We needed a relaxing getaway and got exactly what we came for and for a reasonable price. We also appreciated having our pet with us! Thanks!

It was perfect for our family of five. Within walking distance of everything. Will book again. Perfect view and close to beach. The lady that assisted us with the booking at Newman-Dailey went over and above to see that all my questions were answered, as this was our first visit to Destin, she was very accommodating.

This condo was an excellent place to stay! It was in a great location and had a cozy atmosphere. We had a lovely time while we were there and access in and out was a breeze with a code to the door instead of having to worry about keys. The beds were comfortable in the condo and we had a great view from the balcony.

Loved the view, the location was great, and the access to the walking trail and the beach was perfect. Would recommend that they upgrade the couch, the mattress and the patio furniture. Otherwise, the unit was in great shape.

Need to update the TVs and Internet (wireless) also need a table and chairs on the balcony.

This is the perfect place to stay for small families. The price is good for a place that looks freshly remodeled. Not for people who can't handle stairs. I would love to stay here again because across from a good public beach and is right down the road from the best seafood on the beach, Capt. Daves.

Overall, it was great trip. We loved the location by the public beach with access to a close bathroom. The condo was cute and clean, but it smelled like a dirty dog for a few days, but it wore off once you were in the room for a few minutes (this was my only complaint). The perks were great--free putt putt and free dolphin cruise ticket. The service was fast and friendly. We extenede our stay easily over the phone. The entry was keyless so no worries about losing keys. The complex was quiet that week--no loud music or teenagers partying. I also liked that the rental inluded a free umbrella and chairs on the beach (but they are first come first served). I would stay there again and maybe bring febreeze. I think I might just try another location to compare prices. This worked well for a great last minute vacation though!

This condo at SummerSpell is awesome. It was so comfortable and I was able to bring my dogs. It has bunkbeds and I had my twin 7 year old nephews stay comfortably. The inside is all updated. The best thing about it is the location. You are directly in front of the ocean. The view from the balcony is beautiful. There is also a very nice pool. I have stayed at several locations and I would certainly go back to this condo.

We love Summerspell...we have stayed there each time we have visited in the last 8 years...I guess the only downside was being on the 3rd floor this time...the view was great but the stairs were a little hard on the knees...the room was very clean and decorated beautifully...we would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great time and the condo was great. The King bed was very comfortable; the tv/surround sound was great; the condo would have been perfect if a washer/dryer was in the unit. The fan in the master needs some work though.
