The Gulfarium Turns 60 & Celebrates With 60% OFF

Many of our team members have lived in the Destin area for decades and have watched the changing landscape. But one thing has remained consistent, the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park on Okaloosa Island has been providing education and entertainment to millions of families for 60 years.

Florida's Gulfarium opened its doors on Aug. 14, 1955. While the road-side attraction has enjoyed updates and renovations over the years, the staff’s dedication to educating the public on marine animals of all kinds while providing family entertainment has been constant.

Among its many firsts, the Gulfarium was the first to successfully raise a stranded baby bottlenose dolphin and develop a synthetic milk formula for bottlenose dolphins, which is still used to this day. Today, three generations of dolphin animal ambassadors, Delilah, Lily and baby Kaya, continue to delight and educate families.

In honor of the Gulfarium’s 60th Anniversary, from Aug. 14-16, 2015, guests will enjoy two very special offers: Buy One Park Admission, Get One 60% Off and 60% off Animal Encounters (including animal encounters booked now for use through March 16, 2016; Some restrictions apply). To take advantage of this offer, use promo code SIXTY when you book online at
