3rd Annual 30A Half Marathon and 5K, Oct. 13-14

Do you feel like you’re always racing the clock? If you answered, yes, consider planning a beach a vacation and slowing down and running for fun. On Sunday, Oct. 15, Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach will be host site for the 30A Half Marathon and 5K. Whether you enjoy running marathons or just like to run/walk the 5K, this fun event will get you outdoors to enjoy the coastal breezes and scenic vistas along CR 30A.  

The 3rd Annual 30A Half Marathon & 5K schedule of events kicks off on Friday, October 12, 2018 with a beach barbecue. Sample the best local BBQ and brews. Area restaurants will be competing for our votes and the coveted title of "Best BBQ on the Coast." Enjoy live music from The Rips. The event is free for registered racers or $30/person at the door for all others. 

On Saturday, the green at Gulf Place will be filled with vendors, music and beverages as racers come for packet pick up. On Sunday, Oct. 14, the half marathon kicks off at 7 a.m. Racers will head out on the scenic out-and-back course, which begins at beautiful Gulf Place and continues to the boathouse at WaterColor and back. All proceeds from this event benefit The Sonder Project and their mission to end extreme poverty and hunger worldwide.
