Hurricane Michael Updates

We have assessed all properties and we are open for business. If you are arriving today, our main office is open and accepting check-ins.

HURRICANE MICHAEL UPDATE (9AM, Oct. 11)

According to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Michael made landfall as a Category 4 Hurricane on Wednesday afternoon. Maximum sustained winds reached 150 mph. 

Gulf Power is reporting 119 outages affecting 11,498 customers throughout their coverage area. Access to the beaches is restricted.

Emergency response and damage assessment is currently underway.

SCHEDULED STAYS

If you are scheduled to arrive today, Thursday, Oct. 11, a member of the Newman-Dailey team will be contacting you regarding your arrival once an assessment of your vacation rental is complete. Our offices re-opened on Friday, Oct. 12.

 At this time, the flag system remains on double red flags and the water is closed for swimming due to dangerous rip currents.  

Travel insurance information will be posted and our team will begin contacting guests impacted by the storm regarding any interuption in your stay.
