Newman-Dailey is Among the Top 5 Percent of Destin Real Estate Companies

It is an exciting time to be in the real estate industry in Destin, Florida. Last year was one of Newman-Dailey’s best years on record with 2017 real estate sales increasing 40% over 2016 sales. In 2016, our agents had 137 closed sales, while in 2017 our real estate sales team closed 190 real estate transactions, a 39% increase! In addition, our real estate division posted 22% more listings in 2017 vs. 2016.

With the Newman-Dailey real estate sales serving as a leader in navigating this market growth, Newman-Dailey is now ranked among the top 5% of real estate companies along the Emerald Coast for sales in 2017, according to the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR).

Wondering what the forecast looks like for 2018? If the first quarter is any indication, it will be more of the same. Sales continue to be strong. In fact, ECAR reports for January 2018 show sales increased 15.4% over January 2018 with 443 closed sales vs. 384 in 2017. New listings in January increased almost 15% over 2017 with 715 last year and 821 new listings in January 2018. But the trend that investors like most is the continued growth in property values. Average sale price of properties in January increased 14.3% over the average sale price in 2017. These trends support what our real estate sales team has long known, investing in real estate along the Emerald Coast is a strong long term investment.
