Sea Why Saltwater Restaurants Are A Great Place to Eat For Good Reason

We are often asked for recommendations on where to eat in Destin. While there are many incredible restaurants in the Destin area, there are a group of restaurants that not only feature great menus but also give back in our community. Saltwater Restaurants Gulf-front restaurants, including Surf Hut in Miramar Beach,  Floyd’s Shrimp House, Lobster Tail and Rockin’ Tacos on Okaloosa Island and Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar and Nick’s Boathouse in Pensacola as well as The Crab Trap with three locations (Destin, Okaloosa Island and Pensacola), make dining a reward experience.

When you dine at these restaurants you support their S.E.A. (Safety, Environment, Activities) initiative dedicated to protecting, preserving and enhancing the beaches of Florida’s Emerald Coast. Funding form S.E.A. supports beach safety efforts, preservation and beautification initiatives and coastal events.

Most recently the program funded the donation of six beach wheelchairs for use on Okaloosa County beaches. This gift to the community will allow persons with disabilities enjoy our soft white sand beaches by allowing them to traverse the beach and roll down to the water’s edge instead of just viewing it from the dunes.

We applaud their efforts and are proud to consider them a valued partner and member of our community. Guests of Newman-Dailey receive a special offer. See coupon on our Be Free Bundle page under dining.
