Allegiant Adds New Direct Flights to Destin

We are proud to be home to one of the fastest growing airports in the U.S. Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is growing and welcomng new flights to cities around the country each month. Allegiant recently announced seven new seasonal, non-stop flights will operate twice weekly. The new seasonal routes include:

Des Moines, Iowa, via Des Moines International Airport (DSM) - beginning May 16 with fares as low as $59 each way.

Little Rock, Arkansas, via Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) - beginning May 17 with fares as low as $49 each way.

Shreveport, Louisiana, via Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV) - beginning May 17 with fares as low as $49 each way.

Wichita, Kansas, via Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT) - beginning June 5, with fares as low as $59 each way.

Rockford, Illinois, via Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) - beginning June 5 with fares as low as $59 each way.

Huntington, West Virginia, via Huntington Tri-State Airport (HTS) - beginning June 6 with fares as low as $49 each way.

Toledo, Ohio, via Toledo Express Airport (TOL) - beginning June 7 with fares as low as $59 each way.

In addition to the added flights, the airline recently agreed to a partnership to fund a $7 million new concourse-C terminal building at the Destin airport. The concourse will provide a security checkpoint and space to accommodate up to five aircraft parking positions. Allegiant now offers air service to Destin, Florida from 29 cities around the country.
