Fall Concerts in the Village in Destin, Florida

One of the things that locals and visitors love aboout Destin is live music under the stars. Whether you're at HarborWalk Village overlooking the Desitn Harbor or the Cultural Arts Village on the green under the stars, live music in beautiful outdoor spaces is a specialty.  Recently our Real Estate Agent Keli O'Neal shared one of her favorite Destin traditions--MKAF's Concerts in the Village Fall Concert Series. Here's what she had to say...

"A relaxing evening with gorgeous sunsets, live music, food trucks, friends and family. What more could you ask for?  Every Thursday, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents, “Concerts in the Village.”  Kids run through the open field and spend time with friends on the playground while parents, grandparents and friends revel in the company of one another while listening to live music and sampling food from local eateries. Every week there is a new band and a different genre of music suitable for all ages to enjoy.  During this year’s 24^th concert season, locals have been entertained by styles ranging from 1980's hairband cover artists to Motown to soft rock and everything in between. This is such a great event for the entire community and proceeds benefit arts education. Since 1995, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) has inspired over 300,000 students in over 60 schools via their outreach programs."  

Concerts in the Village will kick off in September.  Here's the fall line-up: 

- September 12: Rust & Gold

- September 19: Casey Kearney

- September 26: Emerald Coast Blues Brothers

- October 3: Deja Vu

- October 10: Forest Williams Band
