What’s New On 30A and In Miramar Beach – Summer 2022

While we love visiting iconic 30A and Miramar Beach restaurants and celebrating traditions, we also love to try all the great new offerings that South Walton has to offer. Commelfo Restaurant (Miramar Beach)

Commelfo offers upscale dishes from French cuisine. Pronounced "Comme-il-Faut" it translates in French to "done the proper way". Cowgirl Kitchen Market & Cafe (30A - Blue Mountain Beach)

30A's beloved Cowgirl Kitchen has picked up and moved (literally the entire building) from Seagrove Beach to Blue Mountain Beach. Renowned for her kitschy, fun, no-frills, kick-back cuisine, Cowgirl Kitchen is open for breakfast and lunch. From the meatloaf plate to the drunken shrimp tacos to the Texas pimento cheese sandwich, there is something for everyone, including a kid's menu and wine & beer.  GALLION’S (30A – Rosemary Beach)

Gallion's is an approachable upscale restaurant and cocktail lounge located on iconic Barrett Square in the heart of Rosemary Beach along Scenic Highway 30A. Sophisticated small plates drive the culinary experience while flawlessly executed coastal favorites anchor the menu. Grace Pizza & Shakes (30A – Grayton Beach)

The very first Grace Pizza was born in 1990, when founder, Adrian Hembree, as a 16-year-old, crafted his first homemade pizza for his family in Spring, Texas. Adrian learned that everyone had their own idea of the “perfect pizza.” Each person wanted something different. As he grew up, and went on to travel the world, open restaurants and explore great pizza, this notion never left him. Today, Grace Pizza and Shakes is using top-shelf ingredients and world class ovens to help you design the perfect pizza for yourself (salad, or an over the top, unforgettable ice cream shake) made exactly the way you like it. Hunter’s Chicken & Burgers (Miramar Beach)

Hartell’s Village Diner is now Hunter’s Chicken and Burger. They continue to offer the same delicious classic burgers, breakfast eggs, shakes & crispy shrimp, and same ownership. Outcast Seafood (Miramar Beach)

Shelby’s Beach Bar and Grill (30A - Santa Rosa Beach)

Shelby's is all about relaxed and casual dining on their covered patio overlooking the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access and the captivating Gulf of Mexico. Their fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, and entrees are available for lunch and dinner daily, as are their refreshing frozen cocktails and other wine, beer, and liquor offerings. New Summertime Drinks at Scratch Biscuit Kitchen (30A –WaterColor)

While already well known for their decadent biscuits, entrees, and desserts (for both breakfast and lunch), Scratch Biscuit Kitchen is rolling out a new line of drinks that’s sure to be a treat for diners interested in adding a little something extra to their day. The Big Chill (30A – Seagrove Beach)

The Hub 30A, an entertainment district with restaurants, shopping, and events- has completed an extensive rebranding effort in response to its recent growth but will still maintain its initial vision. At the heart of this rebranding is a change of the company name to “The Big Chill.” The rebranding reflects the continued commitment to providing a fun and exciting place for families and friends to gather. RideIt E-Bikes & Paddleboard Rentals (30A – Blue Mountain Beach)

RIDEIT on 30A is a local electric bike and paddleboard shop that offers rentals, sales, as well as service on bikes. Theatre Thursdays in Grand Park

Come cool off at Grand Boulevard this summer with Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s production of “The Tempest.” Wade through the storm to a magical island filled with scaly fish men, woodland sprites, and a powerful wizard pulling all the strings. Sit in the splash zone and experience the action up close- if you dare!
