South Walton Beach Tram - A Stress Free Way to Hit the Sand

A beach day along 30A should be easy, and traveling to the beach and your favorite restaurants is no exception. The South Walton Beach Park and Ride Tram Service makes that possible by offering visitors a free, convenient ride straight to the coast. Instead of circling for parking, guests can relax, hop aboard the shuttle, and spend more of their day enjoying the area.

What the Beach Tram Service Offers

The Beach Tram connects two major county pay‑to‑park lots with several of South Walton’s most popular beach accesses. For guests staying a little farther from the shoreline, or anyone hoping to avoid peak‑season parking challenges, it’s a smooth, reliable way to get to the beach and your favorite restaurants without the hassle.

The service is completely free to ride, making it a smart choice for families, groups, and anyone who wants to streamline their day. Riders can simply park, hop on, and enjoy a breezy ride.

 The Tram Routes

The tram operates between designated Park & Ride lots and nearby beach access points, offering a quick loop that keeps guests moving efficiently. Updated schedules, stop locations, and route details are available online at beachparkandride.com. During peak season, March through October, non‑resident parking at the county’s three pay lots is $5 per hour or $15 per day.
