2nd Annual Luminari Run

The 2nd Annual Luminaria 5k/9k will take place at the Village of Baytowne Wharf on December 8th at 5:00pm. This event is sponsored by the Shelter House, the domestic violence center serving Okaloosa and Walton Counties and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The 5k and 9k courses will be lighted up with over 2,000 luninarias for the runners. Bring the whole family out to participate in this race for a great cause. An after party featuring s'mores and hot cocoa can be enjoyed by all participants.

$25 for adult 5K in advance or $35 on site and $10 for children in advance or $15 on site. $40 for adult 9K in advance or $50 on site and $15 in advance for children and $20 on site. Walkers are also welcome!

Luminary bags will be lighted and labeled along course in memory of loved ones. Bags are available for a $10 donation to Shelter House and can be purchased at the Shelter House office in Fort Walton Beach or at site on race day.
