When you arrive, the first thing you notice may be that Britannia has a wide, covered front porch, which provides an inviting place to drink a cocktail under the shade or read a book. The interiors of the home are just as welcoming, evoking a classic, Florida vibe. The living and dining spaces comprise a spacious open area where everybody can gather. Just a room over is a large kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances and tools the chef of the group will need to whip up tasty meals and drinks. When you’re ready for an afternoon in the sun, you will be happy to find your own tropical oasis right in your backyard. A private swimming pool offers a refreshing place to take a plunge, loungers are available to work on your tan, and a shaded patio table is a lovely place to eat lunch or play cards.
Britannia’s prime location allows you to easily explore the best that Destin has to offer. Just a short stroll away, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant local scene, visit the renowned Destin Harbor, or take a scenic walk along the beach. For those seeking outdoor adventures, the nearby Henderson Beach State Park offers miles of pristine shorelines and opportunities for hiking and bird-watching.

This house sleeps a maximum of 10 guests.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

There are several pool towels provided for your stay but must remain in the vacation rental and not be taken home.

This pool can be heated between October- April for a fee upon request to our office. There is an additional charge for heating requests within 48 hours of check-in.
