This is the first time we have stayed here. We absolutely loved it. We will never stay anywhere else. The beach is literally right across the street. Every suite has an amazing view.

This was our first time in Destin and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The property was beautiful and very well kept. I cannot express how gorgeous this place is, and pictures really can’t do it justice. It was also pretty quiet. Most of the people there were families or people just wanting to relax, so the atmosphere was super laid back. The condo itself was wonderful! It was very clean and nicely decorated. The couches were super comfortable and the view from the balcony is amazing. The only things we did not like were the TVs are in desperate need of updating and the master bed is pretty firm. The TVs wouldn’t normally be a big deal, but one day it stormed and it would’ve been nice to sit inside and watch movies. While the mattress was firm, it was not the worst bed I’ve ever slept in so this was a very minor thing. Otherwise, the kitchen had everything you might need! The beach was amazing and with it being private, it’s very laid back and wasn’t too crowded like the public beaches down the way. The chairs and umbrellas are set up and ready for you every morning between 8-9am. Overall, we loved the unit and the property. The rental agency made everything easy and seamless. The perks offered each day are great and especially nice if you have kids to entertain. We are already planning our next trip back!

Bob and I had a great experience with Newman-Dailey. The were very accommodating and answered all of our questions very swiftly. Their staff is incredible and sent us text messages to inquire about our stay. The unit was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Everything was in great condition. We would definitely recommend Newman- Dailey. Thank you a fantastic vacation. We cannot wait to go back.

We loved our condo in Mediterranea! It’s absolutely beautiful, in a great location and has great amenities (beautiful pool, hot tub, private beach access). We loved it!!

The condo was spacious for my husband and I and our two teen sons. Great views, close to beach and pool, easy walk to beach and walking/bike path. Kitchen was accommodating, beds were comfortable, ample storage and very clean. Our only recommendation is to invest in some room darkening shades for master bedroom, the boys room was dark but ours was pretty bright at 6:30/7am and we did want to do some sleeping in on our vacation. Overall I highly recommend this condo for a vacation stay.

This is a great family friendly property. Easy beach access, great pool, decent tennis court, close to 2 state parks, restaurants and downtown Destin. My only complaint is there is a lot of traffic on Hwy 98 which runs between the condo and beach. We would stay here again.

As always, we enjoyed our short vacation in Destin. It was a nice get away for us. We like this complex a lot. For the most part it is well maintained and clean. The only issue we had was the pool pass. We did not receive one when we checked in. When we got to the pool to access the beach, we did not have a code. We had to ask another guest. He kindly shared the code. I did call the office the next morning and they said they would send someone over with a pass. I had to call a second time to remind them a few hours later. Someone did bring a pass and key. I really did not look at it closely before she left but nowhere on the key ring was the gate code. I looked through all of my paperwork numerous times but never found it. Thank goodness the kind guest shared it with us. That was a little frustrating. We also had hoped to extend our visit and made a few calls. I left a message but no one returned the call until after we had to make a decision. I did call back but by then we had just decided to pack up and return home. We know we would have had to change units but were willing to do that. It was too late to make arrangements at home by the time I received a call. It would have been nice to stay longer. I will be smatter next time I make a reservation.

From my initial phone call right through checkout the experience my wife and I had with Mediterranea (Newman-Dailey) was pleasing. The condo (314E) was immaculate when we arrived, and as well appointed as we hoped. We liked the tall table and chairs on the balcony, using them everyday. The condo is well situated with a great view of the beach and surf. Of course the location is spot on for enjoying the beach, ocean, and Pompano Joe's. We certainly appreciated being able to park in a garage, and with that in mind, the assigned spaces is a huge plus. No hiccups at all. Good stuff!

Best refrigerator we have ever had in a condo and the air conditioner worked great too! The place was very clean as usual. The kitchen did not have a spatula and the frying pans were in need of replacement. I would update the toilets too if it were my condo. Overall, another great stay in the Mediterranea and with Newman Dailey! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mediterranea 314E! It is directly across the street from the beach. It has a lovely pool and hot tub. Probably one of the better condominium complexes around. It was nice to have families and a quieter set as opposed to being next to the Spring Break crowd. The condo itself was delightful. Very spacious and the view simply beautiful. I have to say the staff at Newman-Dailey gave some of the finest customer service I have ever received. They are kind and attentive and make sure that your stay is exactly what you had expected. Karen Poe and Lisa are excellent at their job. We will certainly use their services exclusively.

We have stayed in a unit prior to this one in the same complex. However this unit was amazing! Fantastic views from the balcony. It was great sitting out there with coffee in the morning or just relaxing to the gulf breeze in the evening. The pool was very nice and the grounds well maintained. Local restaurants are close or Pompano Joes is right on the beach. Great food, cold drinks and bands nightly. The beach was incredible and accessible. Very family friendly facility. We already booked the same week next year. You cannot find a better place to stay for the money. We had people passing by asking us about the condo. Can't wait for 11 months to pass until we get to visit again.

The dryer didn't work that well and the twin beds were not very comfortable otherwise everything was perfect.

We love this resort, and really liked the location and amenities this condo offered. The view is great, and the pool is great! My only issue was, I would have liked it to be a little cleaner. There was dried soap in the shower from a previous renter, a lot of dirt and food crumbs in the corners, and a lot of dust all over the baseboards. When I see issues like this it really makes me question the cleanliness of the whole condo.

We had a wonderful time in Destin!!! We were very fortunate and thankful that Tropical Storm Karen didn't interrupt our trip. The Mediterranea is by far our favorite property we have ever stayed at in Destin - perfect location. This is our 4th time to stay in 314E - the couches are now somewhat stained (as referenced in another review) and probably time for those to be replaced; noticed a stain on the master bedroom comforter; however, we enjoyed our stay in this spacious unit with well equipped kitchen. We had some problems with a leaky kitchen faucet and the master bath commode but we reported those problems to Newman-Dailey and the problems were resolved very quickly! We always enjoy having the umbrella/chairs at the beach and having a space in the parking garage is wonderful! We are planning our next trip already and hope to stay at The Mediterranea again!

We have stayed in various units at Mediterranea over the years and have been very pleased. Unit 314E was a bit disappointing. It needs a good deep cleaning. There were stains on the love seat. Not knowing what it was, I put a pillow case down before I sat there. I did not sit on the sofa so I am not sure if there were stains on it. There was sand on the kitchen island when we arrived. There was no toilet paper in the 1/2 bath. The condo as a whole needs a good deep cleaning. Tile didn't look like it had been cleaned well, if at all. The floor of the shower was almost black by the end of the week and we are not "dirty people". The twin beds in the other bedroom were very noisy. This unit made us consider staying at a different property on our next visit.

I would highly recommend renting and staying @ a Newman-Dailey property in Destin Florida. Our fully furnished and spacious unit was way beyond our expectations. What a great location and property! It all started with Kate & Kerbi at Newman-Dailey. What a great check-in experience! They both made the process easy and you could really tell they enjoy meeting and working with the guests. They were patient and helpful in pointing my wife and I to the perfect rental at Mediterranea. Most importantly they cared about our satisfaction as first time Destin vacationers. The property was spotless,had a great view, and was nicely furnished. The location away from Destin proper was refreshing - not so much traffic or congestion. The amenity card was a great feature but the beach service was a deal clincher above any other rental. What a great feature that certainly created a great value and a "wow" experience. We will definitely be back in future years and look forward to renewing our relationship with Newman-Dailey properties

Mediterranea was a dream vacation spot for us. The condo is spacious and has balconies to sit out and watch the waves come in. It is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. The facilities were clean. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and tennis courts. We also had our own private beach access and beach chairs set up for us. We will definitely be back.

The condo at Mediterranean was lovely. This complex is one of our favorites on the beach. You have a terrific view of the ocean & of course it's beautiful!! My husband really enjoyed the free round of golf each day. Terrific vacation. The free beach service was enjoyed by all.

Well, I have to say that 1.5 dys of our 5 day stay were spent watching Trop Storm Debbie pour inches of rain on the beach, but that was just dumb luck and timing on our part. This unit is very clean and well maintained, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. The master BR and bath are huge. I would have appreciated two full or queen beds in the guest room; the twin mattresses were small for our family. However, overall, the views from the balconies (esp living room) are fabulous, and we liked the relatively peaceful location in Miramar Bch. When we went West into Destin a couple of times for dinner, the traffic was maddening. We were happy to be right where we were. The staff at ND were very competent and helpful. The beaches and pool were great. You get two beach chair/umbrella setups per day, which worked out well. Pool is nice, but other residents hog the umbrellas, so get a space early if you don't want to bake in the sun! Fitness center better than in most business-class hotels. Check in/out times of 4pm/10am seemed stingy to be honest, but they had us in on Sat by 2:30p. Who wants to sit around the pool or beach for hours, waiting to get into your vacation home? Overall, I would rent from ND again.

We didn’t want to leave this place. It was like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed to continue to cook healthy meals and the pool provided a sanctuary for the kids. Can’t wait to be back.

We had such a wonderful time at this condo. The condo has everything you will need and is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, including the beds. The whole condo complex is so awesome. The pool and hot tub were so clean and not crowded at all. The grounds are immaculate and the beach access is so close. Do yourself a favor and stay at any of the condos at Mediterranea. The beach is awesome and we enjoyed the beach service. All the restaurants and shopping are so close. We enjoyed walking to Pompano Joes several times to eat lunch. We will be back for sure. Newman Dailey was so great to work with and made it so easy to check in and out.

We were looking for a super-nice 2 br condo on the beach for our first time in Destin. Cliffie helped us find the Mediterranea - just cross the road from their own private beach. We needed a two bedroom with all the luxuries of home - and this property and unit didn't disappoint us at all. Very spacious - and the beds were so comfortable! The views from the unit were fabulous, and the pool, jacuzzi and fitness center were great - used them every day! The only thing we missed were not being able to grill as the property didn't have one on site. Thanks for a great vacation.

Our vacation in Destin was wonderful! This was our first time to stay at the Mediterranea and we absolutely loved the condo! It was by far the nicest and most convenient unit we've stayed in during the past 9 years that we have been coming. I can't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable. I am hopeful that we will have a chance to stay again in the very same unit!

It was really a nice place. Our boys (5 and 7) couldn't stop saying "AWESOME". Pool was big and nice, and easy access to the beach.
The place was clean and can't complain about antyhing.
We took "Little Nemo Fishing" adventure since we had free tickets, but we were very disappointed.
Out of 3 hrs, they only let us fish for 10 minutes.
I don't know if that's usual routine or just that day. It was more of boat riding experience than fishing experience.
Other than that, we had a great time. We will come back definately.

We had an amazing stay. The vacation home was beautiful and clean...a great value. The booking process was quick and without issue. The view from the balcony was amazing and the beach is only a few feet from the gate. The pool was very nice, especially in the morning when there weren't many people around. We lacked for nothing and the complimentary beach service was great. Convenient to shopping, food, and recreation. A wonderful vacation destination.
