Mediterranea 512D

We love the Miramar Beach area and the location of Mediterranea. Great views of the Gulf and beautiful pool. Appreciate the garage and well equipped kitchen.

November 4-11 was our second trip to Mediterranea in 2 months. We stayed in 512D this month. Back in September we stayed in 410D. Loved both units and the views are fantastic. There is no other place in Miramar Beach like the Mediterranea. We've stayed at Mediterranea at least a dozen times in the last 10 years. We'll be back again next year.

On our vacation this summer. We had the opportunity to stay at Mediterranea condo's in Miramar Beach.FL. we had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The staff at Newman Dailey was very friendly and professional. They made sure that everything was in order. We look forward to to our next stay. And we will be staying at one of Newman Dailey's properties.

Our friends have been raving about the Mediterranea for years so we finally decided to check it out for ourselves and they were not wrong! We loved the location, the ease of access for Uber pick-up, walking distance to restaurants, spacious and well thought out condo, but the best part was the Beach! The chairs and umbrellas were perfect!

Family enjoyed this place! Perfect location, washer dryer inside, parking was perfect, elevator, hvac worked and the 3 outdoor patios were perfect. Very big condo and convenient to pool and beach access. Codes for doors and gates made it easier to access area and beach. We will return to this location next vacation! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful condo. Easy check in and out process. Fully stocked kitchen. Close to the beach, beautiful views from the 3 balconies and the beach set up was a added bonus! Happy we found this place. Planning a return trip soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. We have reserved 2 more trips to come back. I enjoyed the security and peace of young ppl making no drama. If I had a complaint it would be a new coat of paint is needed, other than that, its perfect. Thank you for having us. Tim

Great view of the gulf. Very wide beach area. You can bring your own umbrella and chairs if you need more space. You do not feel crowded. Room was beyond what we expected.

Sarah was great with the Mgmt company! Very helpful and easy to communicate with. As for the property, shampoo would have been nice. The mattresses were ok, just not the comfiest. Location and views made the place special for sure!!!

the most simple in and out of a property of this type i have ever experienced....highly recommend...will stay there again...late arrival, no big deal the door codes were sent to me, however they did forget the gate code so make sure you get gate code and your room code recommendations: -bed mattress needs to be updated -Keurig would be nice but that did not take away from this awesome place and view

First day we got there we had to wait until 5:30 to check in, plus the Ac unit wasn’t working. We didn’t have enough rags to go with the towels had way more towels than rags so I had to wash everyday on my vacation. And it’s so hot in the elevator that your can’t breath you need to turn the fans on in there!

Location was perfect. Room had lots of room. Three minors. Pool was cold and could not be used ( hot tub was great). No steak knives, cork screw or hair drier provided. Never once did we have a set of chairs or umbrella with our room designated on them. Three separate times this was requested, it was uncomfortable when we were asked to move or we had to ask others to do so. But, the property was well cared for, room was clean and quiet, and I would go back again.

I really love working with your company, the room was very nice also, except when we got there we were told the patio furniture was going to be in the living room since they were working on the deck. Then on our second day they taped up the windows so that we had no view of the water for the rest of the stay. You did refund some money, but it really was not good not being able to look out at any point when we were in the room . But I will definitely use your company again, just hope this doesn't happen again. Thank you

We have stayed in this particular condo a few times now, and at Mediteranea many times. Love the location! Great view, very well kept, never very noisy. All of these things make it hard to be critical, but... The one negative I would say about this unit, and there are MANY positives, is that the electronics are very outdated. Granted, we spent the majority of time enjoying the beautiful area, but with the gift of free nightly DVD rentals, we attempted to watch some movies. The DVD equipment is at least 20 years old and wasn't hooked up. A very small investment would resolve this issue and seems appropriate considering the price of rental. Other then that, and maybe a few more cooking utensils, the unit is very nice. As for Mediterranea, for the first time, we had an issue. They have now enforced a policy of locking the gates to the pool area fairly early in evening (one night they were locked when we checked at 8:30). The problem is that this is the main exit/entrance to the sidewalks to businesses along the beach. It becomes even more of a problem considering that I have a disabled daughter confined to a wheelchair. One night after going to our favorite restaurant Pompano Joes, we were locked out of the condos and had to walk all the way around the building along a unlit narrow street and enter through the gated car entrance. There were no sidewalks and really was quite unsafe for my daughter. I would think this would be a problem for any disabled or elderly person, and at minimum a nuisance and safety hazard for any able bodied person. I still will give it 4 stars, and would give it 5 stars if the mentioned items were addressed. Thanks

Loved the Mediterranea! Very quiet and quaint. Will definitely stay here again. The condo could use a new mattress in the master bedroom as well as new carpet or flooring. Even without the updates would stay here again for sure!

This is the second time we have stayed in 512D at the Mediterranea. It's a great condo, the only complaint is the carpet could use a good cleaning.

We had a wonderful time in 512D. The unit was spacious and clean and everything worked perfectly. We had an issue with the internet and Newman Dailey had 2 people come right over and got everything operating perfectly. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We especially enjoyed the beauty of the beach and the pool on the property. It was wonderful to have everything so easy to get to. Having the property and parking so well protected made us feel safe and secure during our stay. We most definitely would recommend the Mediterranea to anyone wanting to vacation in the Destin area. Also, with the Mediterranea right off Route 198 made the stay more enjoyable and relaxing without the traffic and noise....yet everything you could want was just minutes away. A great first time experience to the Emerald Coast!!!

Great week in the Destin area and at the Mediterranea. Accomodations were great, beach and weather were perfect. It was so easy getting this all put together and working with Newman-Dailey. Would recommend going through Newman-Dailey for your next vacation in the Destn area.

Mediterranea is a great place to stay - location, amenities, view, etc.. First time in unit 512D and it does need some updates and repairs. Garbage dispoal doesn't work, dishwasher had bad smell when running, air conditioning problems. We will definitely be back to Mediterranea, but not 512D.

Lovely apartment equipped with everything that we could need. Beautifully decorated with modern bathrooms etc. Made to feel very welcome by hosts but slight problem finding apartment as no house name outside. Beautiful village with ideal location for exploring the lovely Amalfi coast as it's right in the middle of the area. Excellent restaurant 2 roads down with local shop handy too.

First of all Newman-Dailey was the best management company that we have ever dealt with. The employees at the check-in office were very pleasant and helpful. The condo was absolutely perfect: very comfortable, well decorated, amenities were very good. We loved the location - across from the gulf on the 5th floor - a great place to enjoy the Gulf (and dolphins) plus marvel at the beauty of the many sunsets that we enjoyed. We are hopeful that the unit is available next February.

The condo had everything we needed. It was near perfect; just needed a floor lamp for reading in the living room. I am a big reader, so I notified Newman Dailey and they sent one out right away. I always rent from Newman Dailey because they provide fast, superior service. The condo furnishings were attractive and upscale. There are many windows/doors with fantastic ocean views. The condo resort had a large, very nice pool and jacuzzi. The grounds were impeccably maintained: gorgeous landscaping with palm trees. In all, Mediterranea is an upscale, well kept condominium. I love it.

M512D is a nice and comfortable unit, well furnished and outfitted. There are the usual problems, as with many rental units, such as the waste disposal issues, curtains being handeled roughly, therefore off their tracks, etc... The elevator was broken down for a few days. One big issue is the gated entrance to parking lot. The access control device is awkward to access. Outside of this, our stay was quite enjoyable. Oh yes, your Newman-Dailey information packages require undating; taxi services, restaurants, etc... Also, there should be a client arrival help service; to help elderly clients gain access to rental units. Thankyou.

Since 2006 we were in many condos at Mediterranea. The 512 is very nice and clean. I would include it in my list of the best 5 units I know. Very homey, good furniture, nice kitchen. Tvs needed to be upgraded so we can use our devises like apple TV or playstations. When the curtains will be added, it would look so much better and cozy. The outdoor furniture is a little to big for the balcony. I give 5 stars anyways, because, overall the concerns are not significant. Newman-Dailey has an exellent team, always welcome and reliable. Since 2006 we were in many condos at Mediterranea. The 512 is very nice and clean. I would include it in my list of the best 5 units I know.

The family had a great time at 512D. It had very pretty décor and it was very clean. The views from the balcony were unlike any other we had experienced before and the beach access is right across the road.

Location is awesome. Facilities are great. Comfort of units varies somewhat throughout properties. Having pullout bed in our unit was a plus. Great view from the 5th floor. Newman Daily check-in is fast and easy. After-hours check-in option is great.

We have stayed at Newman-Dailey properties in Destin for the past 15 years, sometime twice a year. We have stayed in condos and individual homes. We know we can count of Newman-Dailey to deliver a very enjoyable vacation.. Our condo at Mediterranea 512D was one of the best. The location / views are awesome. From our balcony (and all other balconies in this property) you can see the beach and pool. My son and his family and in-laws stayed in another condo (not rented by Newman-Dailey) at Mediterranea. My son's boss wanted to send him a gift basket in appreciation. Even though they used a Vbro, Newman-Daily quickly agreed to help us the this basket to him. Ryan (at the front desk) was very helpful with this as well as other questions we had about activities in Destin.

We love the Mediterranea. It's convenient and the units are very pretty. This was our 4th stay but the first time in this unit. I was somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of this unit, particularly the floors. Both the carpet and tile could use a good cleaning. Otherwise, our stay was great and we'll return sametime next year.

We loved the Mediterranea. The condo (512D) was fantastic. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The guys loved the golf package and the girls loved the beach in the complimentary chairs under the umbrella. We also enjoyed the lovely pool. The people in the office were great and made checking in and out a breeze. They directed us to several good resturants. There were several different codes to remember, the door, the pool, and the entrance gate. There was one evening when the elevator did not work and we were on the fifth floor, but it was fixed by morning. Unable to use the Amenity card when the guys were playing golf, because they had it and we were not able get track tickets or movies. Played golf every day. Thanks for the great vacation. First time we have used Newman-Daily, and first time to stay at Mediterranea even though we have visited Destin every summer for the last 29 years. Well laid out condo and condo complex. Perfect location, beautiful view. Beach service included is a must, and it was included . . very convenient. I want to also really commend the young man (Ryan, I think?) who works your front desk at check in and check out. He's headed back to Florida State soon, you better find a way to get him back next summer. Awesome customer service skills, he has a very bright future. I manage 2 customer service centers in Jackson and Atlanta, if I could staff them with personnel like this I would be doing very well.

I was hugely suprised when I first say the property. My wife was ready to reserve the 512D unit for next year after being in the condo for 5 minutes. The Unit was great, the pool was awesome and the beach access was a snap. I was initially concerned about crossing the road for my 11yr old daughter but it was not a problem. I liked the fact that the property was gated and secure. I like the underground parking and reserved spot. The only small issue was the smaller bedroom bed squeaked and my daughter had trouble falling a sleep. That was remedied when she just started sleeping on the couch. The Views from the balcony were worth the 12 hour travel time.

We truly enjoyed our recent vacation at the Mediterranea room 512D. The rooms were nicely appointed. It was clean and spacious. The location was great and the view was fantastic. We have vacationed in Destin approximately 6 times and enjoyed this place the best. All in all I would rate it a 5 star and would definitely try to get this room again.

Really nice condo. Great pool. Great beach access. Nice landscaping. Good security. Everything pretty well maintained. Lacked wireless internet. Refrigerator didn't cool real well.
