The SeaMist is an amazing condo! Great location, gorgeous view of the beach and gulf, lots of room, real sense of home! It has everything you need when it comes to cooking in the kitchen, chair and beach toys, puzzles for rainy days, blow dryer, very comfortable beds!!! Master bedroom is a delight with listening to the waves crash at night while sitting on the balcony! There are 4 decks, so plenty of room to sit outside to eat a meal or to just enjoy your morning coffee and perfect for sunning!!! The beach is literally out your back steps of the deck. Our family had an amazing Christmas at the SeaMist this year and definitely will be back again!! Grocery store and shopping mall is very close and all our favorite restaurants too!!!

Fantastic location on deeded beach. Our section of the beach was not crowded like it is down by the Wales tale or Pompano Joe’s. Quiet and comfortable. The chair service was an added bonus.

We loved having three balconies with their amazing views of this beautiful stretch of the beach. This is within walking distance of Bad Ass Coffee, Pompano Joe’s and other restaurants. There is also a nearby convenience store. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family and plenty of seating. Each family having our own bathroom was a plus! The outside furniture is top quality and comfortable. It was great having chairs and toys provided and located in storage on the lower deck.

We were looking for a nice and quite place afront of the beach to spend thanksgiving, this house was spot on, few yards and your feet are in the water, you open the window and you can sleep with lessening to the waves and bird and the view is very good. One thing you should know is that the room on the ground floor has it own entry from the garage and it own exit from the Balcony, so it’s not suitable for kids,

If you did not know any better you would think the beach area in front of the townhome was private which my family loved loved loved! The chairs the owners give were very much appreciated. All the beds slept perfect and the balconies were my favorite. Already looking to make my plans for next year and stay here.

Perfect location and directly on the beach. Checked all of the boxes we were looking for. The property needs a lot of work/updating. Toilet paper dispensers and towel hooks were constantly falling off the walls, televisions weren’t plugged in for some reason, etc. Absolutely perfect location and will definitely return to the area, but some TLC for the property would go a long way.

We enjoyed the property very much. The best part is rolling out the back door right onto the beach where our beach chairs and umbrellas were set up every morning. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants for those evenings you don't feel like cooking. The decks give you an excellent view of the sunset and one morning we even woke up and walked east on the beach to the see the sunrise. Well stocked kitchen and private space for everyone. Of note, the 3rd downstairs bedroom does have a completely separate entrance that is through the garage with an exit to the deck/beach, so not appropriate for young children to use on their own. Overall we had a great time.

My husband & I rented this home for our daughter and her husband as a honeymoon gift & they loved it!!! It was his first visit to the beach and she loved seeing his reaction when he stepped out onto the deck to see the moon shinning so bright and glistening on the water. Unfortunately, the temperatures took a dip on their short days there in early December and it was too cool and windy to get in the ocean, but the privacy and views made up for that. Being from Tennessee they also enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights on the Palm trees, the great food and the convenience of everything being so close by. When I asked how they'd rate it from 1-10, They gave it a 10, so THANK-YOU!!!! :)

I was here to check on a house I am purchasing in a few weeks. This place was perfect because it is right on the beach. Perfect for morning walks, sitting outside watching the sun set with a glass of wine from the top floor balcony and easy to get to anything on 30A.

As another year is over I wanted you to know that I enjoyed my stay and already miss the townhouse I had a wonderful time and am anxious for next year. I was going to let you know this and also tell you the outside light by the front door was never changed. Also the drain spout off the master bedroom is off. The winds blew it and I tried to reconnect but it needs to be tightened. When the wind really blows it comes disconnected. Thank you for another enjoyable couple of months. Mary

We had an amazing time at this condo! The kitchen was fully stocked with every pot or pan you could need. Be aware though you will need to bring salt pepper etc as there was none of that!! Would definitely come back

We stayed a month and enjoyed our beach life. Location is ideal. Great, right on the water restaurants very close. pizza, wine tasting, souvenir stores, gas station, convenience store, ice cream and more across the street. Winn Dixie and Outlets just down the street. Decks on every floor with wonderful Gulf views. Check in and out couldn’t be easier. They do have hairdryers and the WiFi worked very well with 4 of us using devices. Lots of stairs for exercise so be aware. Would rent again!!

This review is from 4 women over the age of 55 who get together twice a year to spend time at our favorite place ... THE BEACH. The Check-in at the office was excellent. Everyone was very professional and to our surprise we were given a goody bag filled with supplies (dishwasher soap, dish soap, laundry soap, local magazine etc.). Many of the road in this location are under construction and made it kind of hard to get around. But there are many wonderful shops and restaurants in walking distance from the property. The condo was okay. It really needs a deep cleaning and some updating. Most of the pictures are bleached out and all the lamps are in need of new shades. The bedding is outdated but the beds are very comfortable. The floors, carpeting and baseboard need a good scrubbing and walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We took all this into consideration because we did book at the end of the season and that is usually when that detailed work is scheduled to happen. It just wasn't done before we arrived. We didn't report those issues since we were on vacation and didn't want a cleaning crew or painters there working for days. We did have an issue with the deck hose leaking and called that in to the office and that was fixed within a couple hours. Again, the customer service is excellent. It was so nice to have beach service!! Our chairs were set up by 8:00 am and taken down at 5:00 pm. There are beach chairs that you can use at the condo for after hours. We brought our own chairs since we knew we would be on the beach till sunset. Even thought it was fall break for the kids and the beach was crowded in the public area's, it wasn't by us. We did walk to a couple of restaurants and they were EXCELLENT! There is a wine tasting place but avoid that! The employees were rude and unwelcoming. Overall our stay was very pleasant and the best part of it was you're only steps from the beach which leads you right to the most beautiful ocean. The sunrises and sunsets are truly breathtaking. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we all did.

Great place for access to some great water in the Destin area. The balconies were excellent for grilling out and having family time morning and evening out there. It was very nice to be able to walk to the water and then shower off the sand from the day on the lower porch. Would recommend for a group of 8 or less.

We could not ask for a better Thanksgiving vacation. The weather was beautiful and the beach was by far the most amazing we have ever visited! It is very private and relaxing and we loved the sugar sand! The kids enjoyed paddle boarding, surf boarding, and tubing. The house was very clean and well-kept. We appreciated all the views from the4 bedrooms and the easy walk onto the beach! Big thank you to the owners of SeaMist 1, Newman-Dailey and Destin for the laughs, sunburns and, of course, the memories! We hope to come back soon!

Three couples stayed in this townhome comfortably. The townhome was nice but could benefit from a few upgrades in terms of furniture. The three decks off of the bedrooms and living area were superb to see the sunset and enjoy the brilliant sun. Newman Daily was very responsive to anything we asked for. We would stay at a Newman Daily property again.

Part of my family got to enjoy staying at one of their townhomes for a few days! It was super close to the sand and surf. Right on the beach! The area is always clean and calm. We enjoyed the multiple decks the home came with. We would stay in Destin again and definitely call on this company to help find us our perfect getaway home. I hope we were respectful guests! This condo is absolutely amazing. The view could not get any better! There was plenty of room for our extended family. Everything we could possibly need was provided and we got a lot of use from the grill. We saw dolphins every morning just as we would wake up and have coffee on the deck. We went deep sea fishing while we here and we highly recommend it! Just a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

We meet our friends each year to bring together our families and settled on beautiful Miramar Beach near Destin. SeaMist 1 was absolutely perfect. The kids could run right out from the house onto the beach- we were able to enjoy outdoor meals and watch gorgeous sunsets from the decks and we were even lucky enough to watch dolphins frolicking in the ocean one evening! Just perfect!

This was such an amazing beachside rental. We are a blended family and this was our first family vacation. We had a blast! The beach was amazing, the condo was nice and the location was perfect too. We made a lot of good memories at Seamist. The beds were nice and comfy which is always a huge plus. This was also my baby's first trip to the beach and ocean.

Wifi was fine even when we arrived with rain & clouds for 2 days. Pre-Christmas was a little chilly but worth having the beach to ourselves. My girls even braved the water like it was summer. Worth having a beachfront so that we could run in & out for snacks & RR breaks. Beach smell mostly due to carpet but easily fixed. Unit also has inner tubes & boogie boards which was a plus.

Once again we had a wonderful time here. We were at Seamist 1 for the months of November and December. Overall, the weather was great. We were able to try several new restaurants and we really enjoyed watching all the people on the beach enjoying the warm weather. And thank you so much for the new recliner chairs that were delivered during our stay...they are fantastic! We are already missing our "home away from home" and can't wait until our 2016 stay when we will be there for four months! Thank you Newman-Dailey!

This was a great place to spend our Destin vacation! It had really cool views and a seperate apartment on the lower level. Everything was decorated nice and it was very clean too. My family had a super time and we are looking forward to staying here again!

The townhouse sits right on the beach and has great views.....plus it had a beach level garage apartment that was perfect for the teenagers to hang out in. Our stay last week was two days of wonderful and six days of cold and stormy. But the location and accommodations at Sea Mist 1 were perfect for a fun and restful stay! Everything was provided except food for our comfort. And the kitchen provisions were perfect for cooking meals for six people, adults and kids. But most of all, the furnishings, inside and out allowed us to relax and enjoy that beautiful beach. Thank you for your attention to all details and the ease of check-in and check-out.

We have been coming to the Destin area for over 20 years. For the past 5-6 years have been staying in Miramar Beach at Newman-Daily properties. Our favorite by far is Seamist 1 (I think we have stayed there 4 times). We love the location and everything that is provided in the unit. The additional refrigerator in the garage is great to have and we put it to good use. This year we stayed November and December and we had the most wonderful weather, nicer than we have ever had before. When we first arrived we had an issue with a ceiling fan and your people came out immediately (within hours) to fix it. We later had an issue with the heat and again, your people came out quickly and fixed the problem. Newman-Dailey is the best! See you again in November.

This is our 3rd year to stay in Seamist, 2nd stay in Seamist #1, by far our favorite. We have been coming to Florida for nearly 20 years and this was our best trip ever and we are looking forward to visiting again next year and have extended our stay to 2 months. Weather was trhe best we have had in years and the beach was gorgeous. Can't wait to return. We received very good service, had one minor issue we noticed shortly after arrival and it was immediately taken care of by Newman Daily. Seamist 1 is great, great location, well equipped and friendly neighbor - Don is great. See you next year!

We had a very relaxing vacation at seamist 1. The balconies provide a great view to the water. Inside you have all the comforts of home and plenty of space for our family. The proximity to restaurants and shopping is unbeatable. Perfect vacation experience.

My husband, son and daughter stayed in July of 2012 and let me say, it was so enjoyable! The rooms were very clean, it was great to not share any bathrooms and all the bathrooms are recently updated. The view on all the balconies was better than the pictures, the kitchen was stocked with more than one could need to prepare delicious dinners. Check in was incredibly easy, and checkout even more so - just call a number and leave. One thing I would stress is that if your children are younger, the bedroom on the bottom floor is a completely separate entrance that is not easily accessable for parents and while our 15 year old loved the privacy, it would not be good for younger children. The grill was also not in very good shape, and we had to purchase a propane tank when we got there which I would have just brought with us had we known. Overall, I would say the experience was very good - I cannon say enough about the beauty of the beaches - it was very close to some wonderful shopping, and the sand was so soft and clean. Very close to areas to parasail and jet ski as well. We will likely return for another great experience!

We love this townhome. This one offers lots of space and comfort. We love that the kitchen is completely stocked with everything we need to cook meals so that we don’t have to go out to eat all the time. This property is near so many activities and a winery too.

The service was great.The neighbor Don was very helpful and you couldnt beat the view.Bathrooms were new and everything was very clean.I loved that there was gas,coffee shop and gifts oh and dont forget the winery just across the street.The only thing is it could use update on deck and bbq grill.I cant wait to go back.

We had a wonderful two weeks, very relaxing, had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Our Daughters wedding right outside the back door was perfect. The beach was perfect, no oil, no smell of oil, just beautiful white sand and the perfect ocean surf. And close enough to enjoy the downtown activities. We loved both worlds. We will return.

We loved staying at the Seamist Unit 1! The townhouse was beautiful, and we loved being right on the beach. We enjoyed sitting out on any of the 3 decks and soaking up the sun or pushing our chairs back into the shade of the deck. It was just what we wanted! Don the neighbor was a sweetheart too! This was our first trip to the area. Most of the service received was either by phone or email. We used the late check-in option which was very convenient. Seamist #1 for us was great. I liked that each bedroom had its own bath and the main kitchen/dining area was on a separate level than the bedrooms. The neighbor, Don, was helpful and always shared the daily paper. It was nice to be able to cook some meals. The kitchen was nicely equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. The sunsets were beautiful which we could watch from the deck. We loved that we could just walk out the door and be on the beach! The only negative I have is the gas grill. It was in tough shape- a bit difficult to grill on. I would definitely come back again.

Upon check-in, we were greeted and remembered from our many past visits over 20 years by Kerby, a vivacious Newman Dailey employee. We arrived at Sea Mist 1 which had been highly recommended for the recent upgrades. We were not disappointed. All new kitchen and bathrooms which hosted granite countertops and beautiful tiles throughout. The bedding was all new and extremely comfortable. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy for any cooking we chose to do. All new flat screen TV's! Being right on the beach has always been #1 priority, and this property offered a spectacular view and access to the beach right out the door. Three decks with chairs let us decide if the beach was where we wanted to sit, or close to our unit. Will definitely book this unit again! A great place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary!

We liked the home,but had issues with the air conditioning. There needs to be air for the upstairs and air for the down stairs. Also, the adults did really enjoy having to share the 1st floor room. There really needs to be one room for each couple. The view and the fact that we had everything we needed to cook our meals was great, but the air was an issue when we stayed in May and an even bigger issue in September. Really needs to be fixed if you want people to return. I can say that our group does not want to stay at this place when we come back. Sorry!!!

We have stayed at SeaMist on several occasions. This year was the first time in #1. The weather was great, water was beautiful and accomodations perfect. The remainder of my family stayed in SeaMist #4. However, when we arrived, there was urine soaked linens left on the stairs wrapped in a blanket (we put in garage) The bedroom on the top level - street side had a bad smell when we arrived, which continued to get worse. We checked underneath the bed and found dirty sheets with human waste. After searching for gloves we placed the sheets in the garbage. The washing machine quit working while we were there, but was replaced the following day. (excellent !!) The master bedroom developed a bad leak from the ceiling and we had to place pans on the floor to keep from soaking the carpet. I called your office the morning we left and talked to someone about all of this. I was told someone would return my call. Needless to say, I've not heard a word from anyone. We will vacation in Destin again next summer, but undecided where to stay. Mr. Capshaw is a GREAT asset to SeaMist !! Still waiting on that call back !!

Condo was very nice, clean, well stocked with the amenities from home. It was awesome having having all of the beach chairs and toys on the lowest level closet. We never bought anything for the beach since it was already there. The neighbor "Don" was awesome. Don being a local helped us with where to eat, shop and such. He even gace us a daily paper every morning! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year!!

Great service. Nice workers at check in. Down stairs can get a little warm at times but tolerable. Nice neighbor, Don. We have stayed at Seamist several times and have always been pleased. Getting a little pricey!

Overall a nice place to stay. We had minor issues with the house when we arrived. 1.) the grill, it was very dirty, to the point that I would not put food on it. This is the second year in a row we needed to have the grill serviced before it could be used. 2.) The garage door did not work properly and had to be serviced. 3.) The property was advertised with a gargae, but I could not put my minivan in it because of a large refrigerator that restricted the van from fitting. 4.) 2 of sliding door locks did not work and had to be serviced. 5.) The AC took over a day to get to a comfortable temperature and we didn't sleep well the first night. 5.) the biggest concern and one that will keep me from ever leasing this property again, was the fact that I was told by Newman-Dailey personell that all floors were connected from stairs within the inside of the house. not true; the bottom floor bedroom was only accessible from the outside decks or through the garage. I actually eliminated other properties because of this very feature before selecting this unit. My kids were scared to stay on that floor because of the lack of accessibility to me, in the main part of the house. Very disappointing. We made due with the situation and I slept there for much of the week with my kids, not in the nice 3rd floor master bedroom. From the good things perspective: The beach was great and the house was situated perfectly close to the beach. The decks made for nice views. And the proximity to things we did was a bonus. The beach toys that were available were nice. And the funtastic program helped with some expense. The umbrella and two beach chairs that came with the rental was a nice bonus. Besides the issues, we still had a nice stay. I just wish these types of things were looked at more closely (especially the bottom floor issue) before arrival. The last thing I want is to devote part of my vacation on issues, especially when we pay the rent we pay for a weeks stay.

This was my fifth visit to Destin within the last twelve months. It doesn't get any better than Seamist 1. I have fallen in love with Destin and how could you not with everything that comes in this package. I spent seven nights, cooked every meal except one and found every utencil even Paula Deen could need to cook a family dinner in this fantistic kitchen. A deck off every floor, A gas grill, A lower deck storage room stocked better than Alvin's Island with all your beach needs... This unit is breath taking. I hardly left the unit the whole week. My husband played golf "free" with our package every day. If you come to Seamist bring nothing...It's all there. I can't think of a single thing that could have been added to our Townhouse to make it better. If I ever stay in another unit It will only be because this unit wasn't available. This unit has a resident neighbor who was wonderful. He checked in on us,assuring us that he was next door in case we needed anything. He brought us newspapers to go with our coffee. He and his wife treated us as if they had known us for years....The only down side to this vacation was I had to come home.....

My husband and I took our two kids to the beach for a week. This was the first time we ever stayed in a townhouse, now we wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. with every thing we needed, and the beach only at the bottom of the stairs. we want to come back every year. I would recommend the seamist #1 to any couple or couples, with or without children.

Great location! The only thing that was a little frustrating was that we had a hard time controlling the temperature. It would get either really cold or really muggy. The condo, however, had everything we needed including chairs, floats, and unbrellas. It was so wonderful being able to wake up and walk straight onto the beach! The views from the multiple decks were spectacular.

We would highly recommend Seamist Townhouse 1. Everyone would love to go back again, even though it rained for the last 4 days. It feels like home with a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, and a grill on the main deck. It is nicely decorated, but not too fancy. The extras like tickets to The Track, Little Nemo fishing, and free movie rentals saved us money. Check-in was easy and quick. You have a fantastic view of the gulf from each of the 4 decks. If the weather does bring you indoors there are cards, puzzles, games, and of course TV or movies. Two suggestions: 1 - check around before you buy anything, it is probably already there. 2 - we can't recommend the sleeper sofa. Be sure and say hi to your neighbor Don. He is a great help.

We (the Oregon Crooks') wanted to take our family (the Georgia Crooks;) to a place neither of us had been but that was close to Georgia. We picked the Gulf Coast because of all the wonderful things we heard about the area and we were not disappointed. It was one of the best vacations's we have ever had. The Seamist Townhomes were the best. Our unit was fabulous and perfect for two adult married couples, and three teenage boys (grandsons). The unit was in perfect order, the view was breathtaking, the sand and surf right off the deck were absolutely the best. We hope to return someday. We would highly recommend this unit and the services of Newman and Dailey to everyone.

This trip was absolutely wonderful. The weather was great and the water was fabulous. Probably the best we've ever seen as long as we've been coming. The condo was updated since we were there last and it was very, very nice. We always love staying at Seamist #1. It's our favorite of all the places we've stayed.

Seamist Townhome #1 is a great place to stay. It is directly located on the beach. It has plenty of room for an average sized family. Waking up every morning with a direct view of the Gulf from the third floor bedroom was tremendous. The townhome is located close to shopping and entertainment. I would definately stay there again without any reservations.

Myself along with five of my best friends visited together to celebrate our 40th Birthdays! The townhouse was tastefully decorated and very well equipped! Pleanty of towels, beach service was fabulous, plenty of space for our group! We cooked in many nights and loved all the outside decks! We have decided to make this an annual event!
