Newman-Dailey Awarded 2025 Large Business of the Year By Walton Area Chamber of Commerce

Miramar Beach, Fla.—May 26, 2025—Newman-Dailey Resort Properties was Awarded 2025 Large Business of the Year by the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce. This annual award recognizes an organization with more than 50 employees that demonstrates genuine partnership by working with other businesses, non-profits and area agencies to identify issues and develop sustainable programs and initiatives that make a lasting impact on the local community.

At Newman-Dailey, partnership is the cornerstone of all its divisions, including vacation rental property management, association management and real estate sales. Partnerships with homeowners, clients, boards, community groups, REALTORS, local government, local businesses, and vendors are just a few of the partnerships that allow Newman-Dailey to serve its clients and fuel the community.

Newman-Dailey’s collaborative spirit comes from the top. Newman-Dailey’s President, Ken Wampler, and the Founder/CEO, Jeanne Dailey, are actively involved in the local community serving as leaders on many boards and committees. Jeanne Dailey is a board member and past chairman of the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation and Ken Wampler is a board member and chairman of the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Tourist Development Council. Dailey also serves at the state level on the VISIT Florida Board of Directors and is a founding member of the Florida Professional Vacation Rental Coalition (FPVRC), which is committed to protecting Florida’s vacation rental industry by supporting fair regulatory laws that benefit the community and vacation rental homeowners.  

The award also celebrates the business’ role in job creation and workforce development. Newman-Dailey employs nearly 100 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees and is known for its strong culture of support and community involvement. Community service is at the core of Newman-Dailey’s culture. Last year, the company’s summer community service project raised $35,569 and 4,479 food items for the Harvest House of Destin to help support Destin families in need, bringing Newman-Dailey’s total contribution to $74,065 in just two years. Newman-Dailey also participated in a community grant program for Habitat for Humanity Walton County, which contributed $133k toward the building of a home in Hope Village for a deserving family. The team also donated time and manpower for a Habitat Build Day. Other non-profit partners include the Fresh Start Program, United Way, and Food for Thought.
