Olympic Fever!

As we anxiously await the opening night ceremonies and the 2012 Olympic Games in London, we're enjoying following local Destin, Florida residents who are attending the Olympic Games.

Local resident, Bailey Reese, had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch. At age 16, she was selected for this honor as part of Coca Cola's Live Positively Program due to her program Hero Hugs, a non-profit organization that sends appreciation packages to deployed troops.  We're also following Julio Fernandez who was selected as one of 4 Americans for Samsung's Global Blogger Competition. Julio will be behind the scenes interviewing Olympians, as well as rubbing shoulders with Samsung ambassadors, including soccer superstar David Beckham and kitchen king Jamie Oliver. We'll be following his handle @SocialJulio on Twitter as well as streaming videos featuring the games and athletes on local news station, Ch. 7, WJHG.
